About this Island Spirit 525E

The drive system has been designed to ensure that there is performance to spare, in doing so the system incorporates the following characteristics:

Powerful range extender that will charge the system at 55KWh

Powerful drive motors with a 65kW (88 hp) rated power

Large E-drive system storage with 210KWh

Supplemental solar charging up to 4.8 kW

The design of the boat is very efficient. It will only require only 37kW to power the boat at 8 knots giving sufficient run time in daily charter operations and unlimited range while running the range extender.

Electric Drive

The Island Spirit 525 implements the best of what clients like, including walk through salon, forward seating area and some trampoline, large flybridge, aft seating area for group meals, large galley and storage area, all en-suite cabin configurations, and crew accommodations.

With a generous sail plan and relatively light displacement, this model will be a very powerful sailing catamaran.

ELECTRIC DRIVE OPTION

The Island Spirit 525E was developed for the EV green boat platform. Group Island Spirit partnered with major system developers in the EV industry to develop an electric drive system that is affordable, safe, reliable, and functionally practical.

In the development phase of the Island Spirit 525 we took into account designing for E-Drive from the very beginning. This covers many aspects of the design process including but not limited too:

Minimise the vessel weight through the exclusive use of composites and not use heavy marine plywood in the build.

Efficient hull design to minimise the power required to move the boat through the water.

This program offers the most flexibility for our customers who are more risk-tolerant and may want to spend more time on their own yacht. Earn up to 12% in yearly income based on the actual charter performance of your yacht. With the Navigare Ultimate program you earn 70% of the income, but the yacht expenses are your responsibility. Returns : up to 12%, split 70/30 with Navigare, over 6 seasons. Service, maintenance & insurance: are the responsibility of the yacht owner

COMPLETE PROGRAM

All service and maintenance of your yacht will be taken care of by Navigare Yachting. Both revenues and expenses are known entities. Navigare Complete gives you a guaranteed yearly fixed income based on the yacht model and charter destination. Returns : Guaranteed return up to 8,5% annually up to 6 seasons Service, maintenance & insurance: covered by Navigare Yachting for no added cost.

SMART PROGRAM

Navigare Smart will suit boat buyers looking for a lower total investment, or for whom financing is not possible. A down payment of 50-60% of the purchase price is required, and the charter income will finance the rest. By the end of the term, the yacht is yours. Navigare Yachting is the owner of the yacht through the charter period of over 6 seasons and covers all service, maintenance, and insurance costs. Two options within this program: Navigare Smart : 50-60% initial payment Navigare Smart Low : 40%-50% initial payment + balloon payment of 15% at the end of the charter period.

Charter ownership.

Buying and owning a yacht is a big decision. Very often the excitement wears off after the first year or two and a great idea turns into a financial burden.

Buying a yacht and placing it into charter service negates most of all the negatives of yacht ownership:

• Charter income covers maintenance costs.
• Your yacht is not costing money each month, it actually earns you money.
• You get full dock-side and on the water service.

The owner can book the boat at any time in advance as long as there is not already a confirmed charter booking.

When the owner arrives at the base the yacht is prepared, cleaned, has ice on board as well as fresh linens and towels. All the owner needs to do is bring along the sunscreen and eager guests.

Once the timeout is completed, the boat is returned to the base, we take care of all the cleaning and maintenance to keep the yacht in premium condition.

How charter ownership works

It is really pretty simple, the owner agrees to purchase an Island Spirit yacht through our charter service.

Island Spirit, being an authorized dealer, offers the boat for sale at a discounted rate and forgoes any dealer margin in exchange for a 5-year yacht management agreement.

The yacht is marketed for bareboat charter under the yacht management agreement and Island Spirit takes care of the marketing, management, mooring and maintenance of the yacht with the income earned to split between Island Spirit and the owner.

This then provides the owner with a full-service program and a great annual return.
