Motor yacht ENTERPRISE from Italian shipyard Baglietto is a custom 38m/124.8ft vessel constructed with an aluminium hull and superstructure. At the time of her launch, she is the only 38M V-Line model. Baglietto designed her naval architecture and interiors, the latter in collaboration with the Owner's wife for a more personalised space. The exterior styling comes from the renowned Francesco Paszkowski Design, who created an explorer-like appearance with a plumb bow, muscular appearance and classic colour scheme of slate grey for the hull and silvery grey for the superstructure, while the beautiful bronze-gold of the teak decking adds a warm contrast. She accommodates up to 10 guests and a professional crew of five, ready to explore across the world.

From the lower deck aft, there is a spacious swim platform right beside the water for easy access to the tenders and water toys, as well as sunbathing and lounging next to the sea. A beach club provides a shaded indoor lounge, and two stairways ascend to the main deck aft. Under the upper deck overhang, the furnishings provide for convivial lounging and dining.

The upper deck aft provides a more sun-exposed area for lounging and dining, with direct access to the upper deck interior.

The sundeck offers a fantastic vantage point for taking in the surroundings, with sunbathing, lounging and dining facilities for outdoor living in comfort.

ENTERPRISE Specifications

The interiors benefit from full-height windows on the main deck and upper deck to let the natural light enhance each social area while ensuring panoramic views of the anchorage.

A pair of Caterpillar C32 Diesel engines provide a top speed of 18 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a transatlantic range.

Baglietto Enterprise, born to explore

Enterprise is a 38-metre transatlantic yacht, completely custom-built by the Baglietto shipyard

Bold, compact and elegant: Enterprise is a unique boat that combines the spirit of an explorer with the spaciousness of a seaside villa . From the outset, the client was clear that he wanted a completely bespoke yacht. «Our shared vision was to break the mould. We didn’t want to create a recognisable boat, we wanted to create something unique and innovative. We started with a simple sketch on a piece of paper… a seaside villa that has now become a reality. It is a yacht that will make a statement wherever she goes» , said the buyer. Enterprise is 38 metres long and has three decks. It has a transatlantic range and a straight bow. Her explorer’s spirit is reinforced by her name, a clear reference to the starship in the Star Trek television series, of which the owner is a fan.

On the main deck, Dakota Jackson’s Etude sofas and Promemoria’s Rachele armchairs create a relaxing setting.

In the master cabin, full-height windows provide direct contact with nature. The furnishings have been designed to make the most of the space available without obstructing the view of the sea. To starboard, the two Maras armchairs by Jiun Ho and the Pera coffee table by Lorin Marsh create an intimate area from which to admire the landscape.

Fabio Ermetto, CCO at Baglietto, said: «Building Enterprise has been a stimulating experience for several reasons . We had to learn how to optimise space beyond what is normal. The owner was attracted to a larger design he had seen in the shipyard, but he had mooring restrictions and didn’t want to go beyond 38 metres. So the challenge was to get all the features of a 50 metre yacht into a 38 metre boat while keeping the lines harmonious» .

The exterior of the Enterprise was designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, while Roni Meshoulam managed the project on behalf of the buyer . The owner’s wife was actively involved in the development of the interiors alongside the shipyard’s specialists.

The superstructure on the upper deck means that you can dine al fresco and still be protected from the sun. All tables, including the outdoor coffee tables, are rectangular with semi-circular ends and are made of wood with metal inserts.

« Enterprise has a considerable bea» , said Francesco Paszkowski. «The exterior is characterised by the alternation between the soft lines of the stern and the powerful sections of the vertical bow . In line with the owner’s wishes, Enterprise ensures close contact with the sea and the environment, a goal we have achieved through the extensive use of glass – large windows, transparent bulwarks around the entire perimeter of the sun deck – and a large aft deck. In addition to the large interior volume and open spaces, glass is the dominant element on board and also characterises the swimming pool, which has side walls made of this material» , continues Paszkowski.

The Enterprise is a fully custom-built yacht with a transparent infinity pool on the sun deck and a double steering position.

Inside there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The main deck bathes in natural light thanks to the full-height windows that allow you to feel in close contact with the surrounding nature : this is also possible because of the use of horizontal tubes to lighten the visual impact of the gunwale. The contrast between the white glossy ceiling and the light colours of the furniture with the dark European oak flooring adds to the sense of space and makes it very pleasant to be on board.

Forward of the main deck, the owner’s study is a prelude to the master suite . As in the saloon, the undisputed star of the master stateroom design is the natural light that floods in from the full-height windows.

To starboard, there are two Maras armchairs by Jiun Ho, and the Pera coffee table by Lorin Marsh, which enliven an intimate area from which to admire the view. On the port side, the desk is designed to block the external view as little as possible . The suite is an attractive combination of different materials such as onyx, leather and wood. The master bathroom in Calacatta marble can be accessed from both sides; the shower is in the middle and is surrounded by vertical transparent surfaces. The galley is very spacious and features a central island and an original usage of LED lighting.

On the upper deck, there is a beautiful living area with a large television monitor. In the stern, there is a table for al fresco lunches and a conversation area . All of the outdoor tables and coffee tables are rectangular, with semi-circular ends, and are made of wood with metal inserts. The upper deck helm station features four monitors, configurable head-up displays and a sofa from which the owner and guests can watch the skipper at work. Buyers can opt to have a further steering station on the sun deck, which has been designed to accommodate various sunbathing areas. There is also a transparent infinity pool, inlaid with mosaics and a double edge so that the water doesn’t spill out when the boat moves.

On the sun deck there are many convivial areas, richly furnished, and various areas for sunbathing.

On the lower deck, there are four cabins, two of them VIP staterooms and two twin rooms. The gym is set very close to the water and, when the stern platform is opened up, it enjoys a view of the sea . Since the platform cannot always be opened, there are two glass skylights so you can always work out in a luminous environment. The presiding theme of transparency also continues through into the technical areas: the see-through decking above the bilge means you always have a good view of what is going on. Two Caterpillar ACERT C32s mean the Enterprise has a top speed of 18 knots.

Engine room Propulsion comes from two CAT C32 ACERT, each developing 1,417 kW. At twelve knots, it has a range of around 3,500 nautical miles and can hit seventeen point three knots at top speed. There are also two 99 kW, 400 V 50 Hz 3 phase generators.

Baglietto Launches 2 Yachts in 2 Days

Baglietto Yachts in Italy launched two yachts in two days in late May. The 124-foot Enterprise and the 133-foot Attitude are both reportedly on track for on-time completion and delivery.

Attitude is the first hull in Baglietto’s DOM133 series, and one of five DOM133 hulls that are reportedly sold and under construction at the yard. Delivery is expected this summer, with a public debut at September’s Cannes Yachting Festival .

Enterprise is a custom, all-aluminum build on a new platform. Baglietto designed Enterprise in collaboration with Francesco Paszkowski Design, with project management by Roni Meshoulam.

The owner says his vision is to “break the mold” and “create something innovative” with the 440-gross-ton, high-volume transatlantic yacht. Enterprise is expected to debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

What else is happening at Baglietto? The yard plans to expand its military-sector work, with a Baglietto Navy brand that now includes two vessels under construction for the Italian Navy.

A restaurateur learned the hard way not to mess with Lauren Sánchez

• NYC restaurateur Keith McNally insulted Lauren Sánchez in an apparently unprompted Instagram post.
• Celebrities defended Sánchez, an Emmy-winning former news anchor and fiancée of Jeff Bezos.
• This is not McNally's first controversy. He's also insulted James Corden and Adele on Instagram.

Restaurateur Keith McNally, who's no stranger to controversial Instagram posts , has made a habit out of insulting celebrities. And his latest target is Lauren Sánchez , the fiancée of one of the most powerful people in the world, Jeff Bezos.

But with some major heavyweights in her corner, Sánchez has the upper hand.

McNally, who owns more than a dozen restaurants including NYC's famed Balthazar, wrote a seemingly out-of-the-blue Instagram post attacking Sánchez and Bezos on Monday.

"Does anybody else find Jeff Bezos' New wife — Lauren Sanchez — ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING?" he wrote in the original post, accompanied by a series of pictures of the couple, according to The Cut. "What an ugly and Fucking SMUG - LOOKING couple they make. Is this what having 1000 Billion dollars does to people?"

McNally's post was later edited , though, as of Friday, it read: "What a Bizarre-looking couple. Is this what having 1000 billion dollars does to people?"

But before McNally watered down his insults, Sánchez's reputation proved she was not to be trifled with.

Scores of celebrities rushed to defend Sanchez, also an actress, pilot, philanthropist, and founder of an aerial filming company. Her relationship with Bezos became public after Bezos' divorce from MacKenzie Scott in 2019. Since then, the two have been pictured in the throes of unabashed fun, often aboard Bezos' $500-million yacht , as Sánchez's reputation as a mover-and-shaker attracts a growing rank of diehard fans .

Chrissy Teigen commented on McNally's post, writing, "She's actually incredibly dynamic, accomplished and kind, and everyone who knows her would say the same."

Jessica Seinfeld, who's married to Jerry Seinfeld, wrote in a since-deleted post, "This post is a reflection of your twisted, pitiful, and hideous mind. Lauren has twice the character you do," according to The Cut .

And MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle commented that Sánchez is "accomplished, kind, smart and loved," adding that McNally's post was "mean for no reason," The Cut reported.

Though Sánchez herself has not directly reacted to McNally's insults, she did follow them with a few Instagram Stories calling for kindness.

In a Story posted on Tuesday, which is no longer viewable, Sánchez shared a quote that read, "People will love you. People will hate you. And none of it will have anything to do with you," according to The Independent .

Sánchez also shared a quote attributed to fashion designer Rachel Zoe. "Lead with kindness, root for other people, cheer for those you love. Just honestly wish everyone the best," it read, according to The Independent.

Representatives for McNally and Sánchez did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.

If his edited-down post is any indication, McNally sure learned the hard way not to mess with Sánchez, or her famous friends.

But, this is not McNally's first rodeo — the restaurant owner has insulted other big names in recent years too, some more warranted than others.

In 2022, McNally had an infamous beef with TV personality and host of "The Late Late Show," James Corden.

McNally accused Corden of being abusive to his staff at Balthazar on two occasions, saying that during one visit to the SoHo hotspot Corden yelled "like crazy" at servers and in another visit, was "nasty" to the restaurant manager. McNally called Corden a "tiny Cretin of a man" on Instagram and said Corden was banned from the restaurant.

But, McNally said that after Corden had called and "apologized profusely," he would be allowed back.

However, the beef didn't stop there. Corden told The New York Times a few days later that he didn't do anything wrong, leading McNally to strike back. In another Instagram screed, McNally mocked Corden's acting skills, insulted his fanbase, and urged him to admit wrongdoing.

The issue appeared to die down after Corden later apologized on-air.

Megastar Adele has also been the subject of McNally's disdain, which in her case, appeared to be unprompted.

In 2023, McNally attacked the singer-songwriter on Instagram , calling her appearance on Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" segment "profoundly inauthentic," "sickening," and "HORSE SHIT."

He wrote that Adele's "make-up was so hideously overdone and fingernails so long she resembled a particularly scary Cruella de Vil."

Our advice to McNally? Maybe stay off Instagram.
