How much do yachts cost? Let’s look at yacht prices per size.
SELECT SIZE ⇩
Note: We will look at yachts that are a few years old. Very few people buy brand-new yachts as the price comes down a lot after only a few years.
How much is a small yacht? Let’s start at 40 feet length.
40 Foot Yacht Cost
A 40-foot yacht can be found used for around $200,000 and new models can cost as much as a million dollars. There are always lots of used yachts for sale around 40 feet in length, which makes them more attractive to first-time buyers.
Technically, a yacht begins at 23 feet. However, yachts that size will more often be referred to as boats.
A 40-foot yacht is a great option for looking for relative simplicity and plenty of comfort and capability. This size is great for day trips in the Caribbean dedicated to speed boating or simple cruising.
The size remains manageable, but the vessel can be updated with extra living spaces and amenities as desired, with a more affordable price than larger options.
The maintenance prices will remain lower as well.
Make sure you are considering the age of your yacht. Even if it is on the smaller end, it will be more expensive if it is new and custom-built to your wants.
Even if you think a 40-foot yacht is the cheapest option, these small factors make for a sliding price scale.
You might find that a smaller, new, custom yacht is more expensive than an older, simpler, larger yacht. One benefit of an older yacht is that it should have the improvements and equipment that make it comfortable to operate and will not have those additional costs.

Our Pick: Viking 42 Convertible: Cruise and Fish (2014)
Price: $895,000
- Cushioned seats
- Underwater lights
- Flybridge fiberglass hard-top
- Recent engine and service
- Joystick control
- Cockpit shade with poles, freezer, and step-up box
- Custom chairs
- Coach roof overhang to provide shade
- home theater setup
- Freshwater wash area
- Cockpit freezer and drink box
- Forward-facing viewing windows in deckhouse
Here’s a great example of a yacht with differing ages and year models. It has twin diesel engines, 600 hp each, and cruise at 35 mph (pretty fast!).
Yacht Price Examples for Three Other 40-50 Foot
- 42-foot Grand Banks 42 Classic; trawler-cruiser style yacht; twin diesel, 350 hp each, cruising speed is 13 mph. Price: $370,000 for 2004; $124,500 for 1986; older ones for less
- 45-foot Sea Ray 450 Sundancer or Sedan Bridge; single or twin diesel, about 1,000 hp total; cruising speed about 26 mph Price: $472,000 for 2012 twin-engine
- 41-foot Back Cove Downeast; single diesel 715 hp; cruising speed is 26 mph Price: $619,000 for 2016
50 Foot Yacht Cost
50-foot yachts are normally owner-operated, so you wouldn’t need to pay for a crew. Now we are around the size of 2-bedroom yachts.
They can provide more living space giving the owner flexibility for more guests and making it a more permanent residential option. With more space comes the opportunity to install more amenities as well.
The biggest difference between the 40-foot vessel and the 50-foot is the accommodations.
Expect three-cabin layouts, which give plenty of space for rest. The opportunity to create guest rooms, owners’ suite, and entertainment spaces are better with these yachts.
Our Pick: Hatteras GT54 Convertible Sportfish
The price for the 2017 model of this used yacht starts at $2,249,000.
This yacht is 53′ 10″ long and weighs 75,000 pounds! It has twin diesel engines, 1,300 hp each, cruising speed of 35 mph.
It has a 1200-gallon fuel capacity with three staterooms. It sleeps up to 6 people, so it is perfect for entertaining without being so large to the point where maintenance becomes very difficult. It is known for its great propulsion rates and is very smooth and agile.
It specializes as a fishing boat but allows plenty of room for guests. In addition to the three staterooms, it has a large salon deck, a spacious galley, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Yacht Price Examples for Two Other 50 Foot
- 51-foot Azimut Magellano 50; express cruiser; twin diesel engines, 425 hp each, cruising speed 16 mph Price: $670,760 for 2013
- 52-foot Carver C52 Command Bridge; twin diesel engines, 600 hp each; cruising speed 18- 26 mph Price: $1,149,000 for 2017; $1,750,00 for 2021 with bow thrusters, gyro-stabilizer
How much is a large yacht? Let’s step up to 60 foot.
60 Foot Yacht Cost
Now we’re looking at 2-bedroom yacht prices. A yacht in this range approaches the upper end of the owner/operator criteria.
This means that owners need to decide whether they can handle this size yacht on their own or if they need to hire outside help from a crew.
If you’re thinking of buying a boat this size, the cost may not be an issue, but understand that adding crew members adds substantial extra expenses! Crew salaries start at around $3K /mth for junior members and $10K for captains and experienced crew members.
This size is great for longer travels beyond day trips and adds more and more space for extra amenities. Hosting guests becomes easier.
Here are some examples:
Our Pick: Hatteras M60
The average base price for this model is around $2,995,000.
The Hatteras M60 is great for someone who wants the luxury of a larger yacht but still wants to be an owner-operator. The deck’s layout below and above is spacious, with a large salon and a full master suite. It can be customized to order with hardwood floors or specific carpeting and amenities like TVs, a bar, a full kitchen, etc. It is a motor yacht, meant for pleasure cruising.
It has twin diesel engines, 1135 hp each; cruising speed is 28 mph.
Yacht Price Examples for Two Other 60 Foot
- 64-foot Schaefer 640; express cruiser; twin diesel engines, 625 hp each; cruising speed 25 mph Price: $1,299,000 for 2017
- 60-foot Sunreef 62 Sailing Catamaran; twin diesel engines 110 hp each; cruising speed 10 mph Price: $990,000 for 2009
70 Foot Yacht Cost
We’re now looking at 3-bedroom yachts. Once you reach this size yacht, it is almost guaranteed you will need a crew to help operate it. A crewed yacht is very different from an owner-operated yacht.
This is just shy of the superyacht category, so if you settle on this size, know you are almost there!
As previously mentioned, as the yacht size gets larger, so do the number of factors that make the purchase more layered and complex.
When yachts reach this size, the interior layout begins to change more drastically. They often have a spacious main deck perfect for dining and entertaining guests, whereas below, the yacht would likely have four or more cabins and crew quarters.
With more rooms comes more cost and more opportunity to customize the space to make it your own.
Here are some great options for this size:
Our Pick: Hatteras GT70 Convertible Sportfish
The 2017 GT70 model runs around $4,500,000, but keep in mind the extra costs of maintenance, furnishing, and a cabin crew to help it run. It’s great for a long vacation and far-away destinations.
The GT70 convertible sportfish is known for its speed and agility, and high propulsion power. It has twin diesel engines, 1900 hp each; cruising speed over 30 mph.
It is 70′ 6″ with 2,140-gallon fuel capacity. The inside is lavish, with a galley, a huge salon, and five staterooms.
Yacht Price Examples for Two Other 70 Foot
- 75-foot Hatteras Motor Yacht; sport cruiser; twin diesel, 1800 hp each; cruising speed 28 mph. Price: $4,375,000 for 2017
- 74-foot Ocean Alexander Motoryacht; twin diesel, 1150 hp each; cruising speed 24 mph. Price: $1,895,000 for 2011
100 Foot Yacht Costs (and up):
You are officially in the superyacht range.
These yachts come in all styles and shapes, allowing for cruising along coastlines or focusing on watercraft and speed boating.
Since this is likely the peak size boat for practical use, you can expect a lot of additional costs for hiring a crew, maintenance, docking, as well as stocking your boat full of amenities.
You’re likely to spend the bulk of your costs furnishing this size boat as bigger yachts typically are sold without furniture. The previous owner will want to hold on to designer furniture and other expensive interior.
Check out these great examples of 100-foot yachts .
Our Pick: 143′ 04″ Virtus 44
This model cost around $20,189,000.
This mega yacht is anyone’s dream.
It is home to a fully integrated beach club with room for a pool deck, floor-to-ceiling windows in the main salon, a hot tub on the top deck, five staterooms, an 8-person crew, and room to sleep ten guests.
It has room for water toys and other gadgets, with a layout that keeps them purposefully hidden from the outside world. It has a 12-knot cruising speed and 16-knot max speed,
Other 100+ Feet Yachts Price Examples
- 98′ 5″ AB 100 Price: $8,843,260 for 2018
- 161′ 04″ Acico Nassima Price: $17,933,000 for 2012
How Much is Yacht Insurance?
Insurance on a yacht is around 1% of the purchase price per year. It can go higher if you have lots of expensive designer furniture. This can add up over the years. It’s often cheaper to insure a sailing yacht but the price range is still within the 0.7-1.3%.
What Other Expenses Do Yacht Owners Face?
Harbor fees is another expense for yacht owners. It’s also a yearly fee that varies but as a rule of thumb, you can expect to pay around $100 per foot per year, depending on how popular the marina is. You will also have to be on a waitlist if you want a good location.
How Much Does a Luxury Yacht Cost?
A super yacht fall under the category of “luxury yachts” or “mega-yachts”.
The world’s largest private vessel belongs to the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s Azzam. It is 590 feet long and costs $600 million to build!
It is outliers like these that increase the price average for yacht owners, perhaps scaring potential owners when they start their research.
As a luxury yacht price guide, however, we need to look at averages.
Currently, the average superyacht costs $275 million. This does not even account for maintenance costs, either.
Superyachts are large and luxurious, needing a professional crew to help them run. They are designed to emphasize comfort, speed, and longer expeditions – depending on the yacht builders.
They might have:
- swimming pools,
- water toys,
- diving and fishing poles,
- fully furnished rooms,
- helicopter landing pads,
- and smaller support vessels
Just to name a few amenities. They are truly the epitome of the elite.
What Size Boat is Considered a Yacht?
The normal yacht length starts at around 23 feet, and can extend hundreds of feet. If the boat meets 23 feet, it can be considered a yacht.
A boat does not need luxury features to be considered a yacht.
It can be minimal and stripped of the “extra” stuff to fall into the yacht category, so long as it meets the size and length criteria.
11 Things to Consider Before You Purchase
When making this purchase, the yacht size you buy needs to reflect what you hope to get out of the vessel.
Some important questions to ask yourself before you buy are:
- What does your perfect day on the water look like?
- How long will your average day on the water be?
- Will it be more boating/watercraft focused or long cruise focused?
- Will you use the yacht for fishing?
- Will you be on the yacht every day of the week or just on weekends?
- How many people do you hope to fit on the yacht?
- Do you plan to stay on the yacht overnight?
- Where will you dock the yacht?
- How much boating experience do you have?
- How fast do you want the yacht to go?
- How important is it to have extra amenities like furnished rooms, water toys, electronics, etc.?
These questions will guide you to understand the size you really need and will be able to realistically maintain versus what your most ideal yacht would look like.
When Do You Need a Full-Time Crew?
At length over 50 or 60 feet, you may need a full-time captain or crew.
A full-time crew person will be needed to keep all the varnished woodwork looking good and all the little things maintained.
Sometimes, you must be honest with yourself about what you want and what you actually need. Be self-aware about your abilities (or lack thereof) in taking care of a specific size yacht.
If you don’t know much about boats and navigation, you will need more help to use your vessel.
Hopefully, this comprehensive guide gives you a good starting point as you begin your yacht price research process.
Important Things to Consider As Well
Although there are many factors to consider when understanding a yacht’s prices, it is an exciting purchase nonetheless and should be enjoyed as much as possible.
At the end of your research, you’ll be the owner of a beautiful yacht you can use for leisure, cruising, sports craft, fishing, or all of the above.
Although this article is a good starting point, we would also recommend getting in touch with a yacht broker who can help you find your best fit , model, year, and the price is given your personal budget.
They are great sources of knowledge in addition to personal research.
Make sure you are as patient as possible in this process to make sure you are covering all your bases, but most importantly, enjoy the process!
Here’s How Much Yachts Cost on Average:
Yachts start around $300,000 for smaller 40-foot models and can go as high as several hundred million dollars for superyachts.
These are the main contributing factors to the price of a yacht:
- The size of the yacht
- The age of the yacht
- The brand and type of yacht
In general, the larger the yacht is, the more important the quality of the build becomes.
Also, potential owners need to understand the cruising speed and propulsion of different yachts.
The yacht type is also broken down into two categories:
- Mediterranean Style Open style expresses yacht with maximum space for sun, little-to-no shade on the deck.
- Hard-top express Semi-enclosed or fully-enclosed space on deck for the operator
- Flybridge yachts
An express yacht is often referred to interchangeably as an express cruiser or sports cruiser .
It has a single deck above the hull with a living space below.
They are much sleeker, too.
A flybridge yacht is often referred to as a sedan bridge or sport bridge, and it is typically used for fishing. It has additional space above the main deck.
Since the flybridge area has more space on the second deck, the main deck is normally made up of enclosed spaces and rooms.
It can have an open-air layout but can also have a hard-top.

Best Bluewater Sailboats Under 24 Feet
Last Updated by
Jacob Collier
December 28, 2023
Looking for a sailboat but don't want to bear the high costs? The best bluewater sailboats under 24 feet are trailerable and require low maintenance.
Many sailing enthusiasts cannot afford a large boat due to the docking fee and maintenance costs. Fortunately, bluewater sailboats under 24 feet, also known as pocket sailboats, are affordable small yachts that are trailerable to your choice of destination, so you don't have to bear the unnecessary docking fee.
The best bluewater sailboats under 24 feet are the Pacific Seacraft Dana 24, Norseboat 21.5, Catalina 22 Sport, Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20, and West Wight Potter 19. These sailboats have ample space for a couple and even a moderately-sized family along with all the amenities you may need.
A roomy cabin, galley, and settees are necessary to go cruising in the bluewater. However, sailboats are a cheaper and more convenient way to enjoy the shallow waters as all you require for sailing is a hull, rudder, mast, and sail. The sailboats on this list make your sailing experience even better with accommodations such as bedding.
We are a bunch of sailing enthusiasts and spend most of our weekends trailing our pocket sailboats, traveling to various offshore destinations. With years of knowledge, we have drafted a list of the best bluewater sailboats under 24 feet and discussed them in detail, so you can make an informed decision before buying your sailboat.
Table of contents
Our Top Picks
West wight potter 19.
{{boat-info="/boats/west-wight-potter-19"}}
The West Wight Potter 19 is one of the most popular sailboats and has been at the top for over three decades. This sailboat is manufactured in California by International Marine, known for making reliable and robust sailboats.
Over the years, the West Wight 19 has seen significant changes in its design, making the boat easy to sail and increasing the storage space while keeping the design compact and available.
The 19-footer is the smallest sailboat on this list, but it doesn’t keep the boat from offering accommodations to make your experience comfortable.
Small sailboats are more about sailing instead of cruising with luxury. However, the Potter 19 offers several luxurious amenities.
The four berths allow you to camp in for a couple of days instead of spending only a day out on the water. Each berth is around six and a half feet long, with two settees and a v-berth.
The storage space under each berth and the ample walking space in between provide enough room for a small family to spend quality time. A small sink, stove, and mobile head increase the boat's functionality and ease the voyage.
The West Wight Potter 19 is far from disappointing when it comes to its sailing chops. Due to its lightweight build, you don't need a powerful truck to trail this sailboat to your preferred destination.
The hull and deck are fiberglass, which keeps the boat steady against rough water. A high freeboard keeps the cockpit and the deck dry.
The West White Potter 19's design is ideal for lake, river, and coastal sailing. However, this boat is up for the challenges as an individual has sailed from California to Hawaii, making history for the Potter 19.
You can buy West White Potter 19 from Sailboat Listings for $6,900.

Catalina 22 Sport
{{boat-info="/boats/catalina-22-sport"}}
The Catalina 22 Sport has quickly become a hot cake sailboat since the Sport version of the 22 feet hull was recently released. A retractable lead keel in the upgraded version makes it easier to haul the boat.
Other than that, the vinyl seating, a chrome fence, and a more dynamic frame give the boat a sporty yet exclusive look, putting it above its close competitors. That is why the Catalina 22 Sport has become a common sight at harbors across the state.
The update maintains the superior quality of the original Catalina yacht with a robust built, easy and comfortable sailing, and several accommodation features. The hull is made from hand-laid fiberglass bonded with a hull liner.
Beautiful single-piece fiberglass makes the deck a sight for sore eyes. It is treated with non-slippery material to keep the passengers safe from injuries.
A complete standing rig with an upgraded stern rail with controls keeps the boat sailing steadily. But the absolute joy of sailing this beautiful sailboat lies in an exclusive cockpit design. Raised contoured coamings keep the cockpit high and dry.
This boat is not just all about the looks and easy sailing. As mentioned earlier, it also has a roomy cabin with accommodations that can allow you to spend a couple of days on the boat. Two full-length berths measuring over six and a half feet are comfortable for full-grown people to sleep peacefully.
The V berth makes a bed for two where children can rest. Even though the Catalina 22 sport has enough space for a family of four to walk around without stepping on each other's toes, it is ideal for a couple to get away for a refreshing couple of days.
The best thing about Catalina releasing a newer model is that it boasts a 12 Volt electrical panel. You can keep electrical appliances working for a comfortable sailing experience.
Besides that, Catalina offers several optional features to enhance your experience on the 22-footer. These include a mast carrier at the front and rear, fabric cushion upgrade, headsail furling gear, and more.
Since the Catalina 22 Sport is made on order, you can contact dealers from YachtWorld to get the price of this boat.

Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20
{{boat-info="/boats/pacific-seacraft-flicka-20"}}
The Pacific Seacraft Flicka is the most convenient and trailerable sailboat on our list, with an overall length of 20 feet. If you like a minimalist lifestyle and want the same in your bluewater pocket sailboat, this one's for you.
A functional galley with a sink and a counter and a small sink, toilet, and shower provides you with the basic amenities you and a couple of your friends and family need for a few days offshore.
There's more to the accommodation you can expect from this 20-footer sailboat. This boat has four berths, including a v-berth, so sleeping comfortably or stretching your legs occasionally is not an issue. A pop-up dining table and a chart table within the cabin make eating and other activities doable.
Nevertheless, most people underestimate the Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20’s ability to handle offshore rigidity, and they are often surprised at what this boat has to offer. A full-ballast keel, hull shape, manageable rig, and a self-draining cockpit ensure satisfactory offshore performance by the littlest contender.
Moreover, we find its outstanding standing headspace one of the boat's best features. Unlike other pocket sailboats, the Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20 has a six ft. headspace. You don't have to duck every time to save your head from banging against the roof.
The Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20's size and its minimalistic yet fulfilling features are why this boat is in high demand. With only 400 of them ever made, you will have to dig deeper and longer to find one worth buying. Due to this, the price of this boat is also slightly higher.
You can buy the Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20 from YachtWorld for $29,900.

Pacific Seacraft Dana 24
{{boat-info="/boats/pacific-seacraft-dana-24"}}
The Pacific Seacraft Dana 24 is the best overall sailboat on our list. This one is the larger of the two Pacific Seacraft sailboats mentioned. It has an overall length of 24 feet but provides you with loads of amenities.
According to the features listed, the boat might seem insufficient for an overnight sail on the water. Once you are on the boat, it won't occur to you that you are on a sailboat that is just 24 feet long.
While only four feet longer than the Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20, it adds enough space to make the cabin roomier and another berth for one more person. Not only that, the extra length provides more space to the galley.
You have increased movement and work it better. However, the length still keeps the sailboat maintaining the qualities of a smaller sailboat, allowing you easy maintenance and mobility.
Despite being larger, Pacific Seacraft Dana 20 is faster than the smaller one. As surprising as it may sound, this is because this boat's engine is more powerful and helps the hull sail faster. A high bow flare and freeboard ensure the deck remains dry unless high tides take charge.
It is ideal for a pair, especially couples who do not look for much except spending quality days offshore with the basic amenities on hand.
The Dana 24 were sold as kits and bare hulls. No one knows how many of these sailboats exist and how many of those are factory assembled. Due to this, you might also find slight differences in the build from unit to unit.
You can get the Pacific Seacraft Dana 24 from YachtWorld for $49,000.

Norseboat 21.5
{{boat-info="/boats/norseboat-21-5"}}
Do you prefer an open sailboat with a rugged design to keep your sailing experience raw? Get your hands on the Open Cockpit Norseboat 21.5. This boat has no cabin.
Simple sailboat design with settees on the side and enough storage room for a couple of passengers to enjoy a voyage across the lake or cruise near the coast.
But that's not all. The Norseboat 21.5 also comes in a cabin design that offers enhanced comfort. Whichever version you prefer, this boat offers a rugged design with carbon-fiber material instead of fiberglass, making it stronger than most sailboats.
However, you will have to compromise on the beauty part. Still, the boat provides a steady sailing experience with all the necessities you might require.
The Norseboat 21.5 sits lower near the water, and with a simple handling sloop rig and fully battened mainsail, it sails light and quick against the light wind. The boat is highly responsive to the tiller, requiring minimum effort from you to put it in the right direction.
Both versions of Norseboat 21.5 are lightweight, making them easy to haul and trail. You won't need a large truck to trail this boat to your favorite spot.
A mid-sized vehicle will do the job. On the other hand, their build maintains a strong presence uplifting their seaworthiness while a foil-shaped stub keel maintains stability.
You can buy the Norseboat 21.5 directly from Norseboat .

A smart pocket cruiser fun day-sailer or an exciting club racer all-in-one, she keeps the First promise of modern performance sailing. She can easily sleep up to 4 persons but at the same time still delivers fun, exciting and modern sailing experience. A completely retractable keel gives you access to cruising spots you missed so far and a possibility to launch and recover your 24 on an ordinary slipway, opening new opportunities. She will take you on relaxed family cruising and exciting day-sailings and bring home trophies from club races.

WHY FIRST 24 ?
Advanced GRP vacuum infusion, very light structure, modern hull shape, deep keel and twin rudders define the boat's character and sailing experience – stable, fast and easy-to-control modern planing sailing boat.
Interior is one ample open space with enough comfort and all key living onboard elements. She can comfortably sleep 4 adults and has a foldable indoor/outdoor table and even dedicated place for a chemical toilet.
Retractable keel makes road transport, winter storage and slip launching easier than ever. Provisional mast crane makes you independent of on-land facilities. On the water, she enables you to discover the most hidden and shallow places.
Despite being modern and fast, she is very safe. Insubmersibility chambers make her unsinkable, the swinging keel will save the structure in case of grounding and a well-balanced twin rudder system gives you full control.
SAILING EXPERIENCE
First 24 will show her true nature under the sails. A flat, modern planing hull and a deep ballasted keel deliver a fast and fun sailing experience. The hull shape and the deep swinging keel result in high boat stability, and the twin rudders ensure complete control in any conditions. Because of the very light hull, she'll move and keep moving even in the slightest wind breezes. Thanks to a spacious cockpit design, you'll enjoy easy handling in a solo, double-handed or fully crewed setup whether you are relaxing on an afternoon sailing, battling on a club race, or cruising with your family. In any setup, she will surprise you with fun, comfortable and relaxed sailing.
LIVING ONBOARD
Interior welcomes you with one big open-space saloon that can easily accommodate up to 4 adults, 2 on the bow V-berth and 2 on smart extendable side berths. It provides all essential amenities you can expect on a modern 7,30 m boat – crew bags for personal belongings, storage under the benches, indoor/outdoor tables and a dedicated place for the chemical toilet in the back of the saloon. For technical storage, there is a big space under the cockpit area, which is accessible from the outside. The sizeable and clean open-cockpit area offers an excellent ratio between comfort and sailing experience. Wide side benches, together with a stern bench, provide a great relaxing place; they also keep you connected and close to nature as the cockpit can easily welcome 4 or 5 sailors.
WALKTHROUGH
A connected boat.
The mobile application, Seanapps , and its onboard unit lets you view the status of the boat's various systems (battery charge, fuel or water tank levels, maintenance scheduling) via your smartphone, as well as planning your route or reviewing your sailing status using your mobile phone.

What Cobia Owners Are Saying
High quality great boat for inshore as well as offshore fishing with plenty of storage for gear and fishing amenities. Boat has plenty of comfortable seating while just cruising and a head that is unbelievably spacious for a 24’ CC. After comparing to other brands there was no other choice but Cobia.
– Craig W. 11/14/2023
Cobia boats are very well made. The ride is very soft and I do not get wet when hitting waves. There are numerous options that most other boats do not have. The front opening console with the windshield is a game changer. The batteries under the leaning post is where every company should put their batteries.. They are easy to get to and never get wet. Haven’t used the bathroom yet but having a sink with fresh water is going to keep everyone in the family happy!

Boat hull performs well in the Chesapeake Bay Chop. It meets the need of the family as a party boat and the need to be a performance fishing machine. I am looking forward to sea duck hunting this boat this winter.

Awesome Boat!
– Mark B. 7/13/2023
I previously owned a Cobia 237CC. This is the newest model of the same boat. The new boat 247CC has all the best features of the older boat and all the new improvements I would have suggested they make. Love my new boat. Having the framing for the center console top integrated into the center console was a great idea and gives you so much more room to walk around.I love the new cockpit area that now has the door in the front of the center console. It is extremely spacious for the size of the boat.
– Timothy F. 6/13/2023
We purchased a Cobia from Walker Marine in SW Florida. After looking at many boats we narrowed our candidates to three boat manufacturers. At the end of the day the new Cobia 240 CC was our choice. Yamaha power, fishing convenience, and comfortable passenger seating were all positive features with Cobia.

The Dana 24 is conceived for cruising and designed for performance. She is built to the standards of excellence that have always set Pacific Seacraft yachts apart. Quality is evident in every detail, from carefully fitted teak joinery to husky bronze fittings and impeccable mechanical installations. Crealock is well-known for cruising boats with exceptional performance, and Dana is the culmination of all he has learned. Sophisticated hull design, high ballast ratio and efficient sail plan provide stability and power for the kind of windward performance that is so often lacking in other pocket cruisers. Her beautifully traditional hull encloses an extraordinarily spacious and functional interior that is innovative and inviting. Her 6-foot 1-inch headroom, fully enclosed head, honeymoon berth and congenial main salon are but a few of her charms. A long list of standard features includes two-cylinder diesel power, winches, sails and full galley.

CREVALLE 24 HCO: Fishing, Family & Fun
It all started here.
When we decided to build our HCO line of hybrid boats in 2013, we had one simple goal: Design a great fishing boat the family will enjoy. That meant style and comfort were just as important as fishing necessities. So, we asked boat owners what they wanted in a hybrid boat, and then we designed the Crevalle 24 HCO to deliver on that expectation.
We keep the family in mind by including:
- custom fiberglass leaning post w/backrest
- two removable coolers
- forward seating package with removable /reversible backrest
And, when it comes to fishing, we added features you wanted most:
- two aft 28 gallon bait/release wells
- one forward 12 gallon bait well
- lockable forward port/starboard rod storage for 10 rods or 5 rods starboard side and a portside fishbox
- dedicated anchor storage
- in-deck, cast-net storage
The 24 HCO is designed with the family and the fisherman in mind. Review the detailed specifications , and then customize your 24 foot center console bay boat to fit your style, performance and comfort needs. Build Your Crevalle today
