Established in 1945, Fisher, the British boat manufacturer is renowned for building boats that satisfy the desire for adventure and the allure of the sea. Based in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, in Northern England, Fisher emerged just after World War II at a time when the country was seeking new avenues of productive enterprise. In the 1970s, under the leadership of David Freeman, Fisher underwent a significant expansion. Freeman's designs, characterised by a deep-sea, rounded hull and a sturdy ketch rig, offered an unrivalled sailing experience.
