Forget about the humble motorhome, Dembell is launching the world’s most luxurious “land yacht” for explorers who appreciate the finer things.

The fledgling German outfit designed by Ustory Branding has just unveiled a lavish new RV that is more akin to a superyacht than perhaps anything else currently on the roads. Built around a three-axle Mercedes chassis, the camper is decidedly sporty with sleek lines and a red racing stripe, but it’s inside where things really get interesting.

Available in three different trims, the motorhome boasts the finest furnishings and a laundry list of top-notch amenities that includes a separate garage for your supercar. The upscale interior can be tailored to each driver’s needs and was spearheaded by Italian design team Galeazzi e Minotti , which is also responsible for outfitting some of Azimut’s drool-worthy superyachts.

At the front of the RV, the cockpit is equipped with four captain’s seats that each come with air spring suspension and a built-in massage function. This area flows seamlessly onto the plush lounge that sports a large leather sofa, a 55-inch TV, and a lift-away queen bed that can accommodate guests or children when needed. There is also room to add an optional dining table.

The. electric parasol is perfect for alfresco dining. 

The nearby kitchen is fitted with state-of-the-art Miele appliances, including an induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave to help you cook up a storm while on the road. The bathroom, meanwhile, features stone tiles and a ceramic sink, shower and toilet. The camper also comes equipped with a washer and dryer.

As for the primary suite, it stretches the entire width of the vehicle and comprises a large bed (79 inches by 79 inches), a few drawers and wardrobes and another TV for binge-watching while under the blankets.

Naturally, the camper offers all the requisite creature comforts, such as A/C, central heating, ambient lighting and a Bose home theater system that pairs with the two TVs. It also sports roof-mounted solar panels, an onboard generator and a 1,000-liter freshwater tank for when you want to live off-grid. There’s even an electric parasol for alfresco dining.

The interior resembles that of a luxe superyacht. 

The real pièce de résistance, though, is the “tender garage.” It’s available in three sizes and can accommodate a wide range of vehicles. The first option comes with three slide-outs and offers just enough room to store a quad bike or bicycle. The small garage is fitted with two slide-outs and can fit smaller cars. Finally, the large garage boasts enough space to fit a Ferrari California or any other supercars measuring less than 14.75 feet.

The Dembell motorhome is slated to make its first public appearance at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon taking place on August 27 in Germany . Details regarding pricing and production are still to come, but this is one land yacht that shouldn’t have any issues finding a captain.

Mercedes-Maybach Spiffs Up Its Luxury Land Yachts for the 1 Percent

Mercedes has given a light refresh to the 2019 models of its Maybach S-Class land yachts for the 1 percent — and where better to show it off than at the luxury-laden 2018 Geneva International Motor Show?

The appearance and trim refinements raise the high bar a little higher as well as set it more apart from the less-rarefied S-Class models to better compete for buyers with the likes of Bentley and Rolls-Royce (though Rolls has in the past pooh-poohed that idea . Mercedes says the top three markets for the Maybach models are China, Russia and the U.S.

Shop the 2018 Mercedes-Benz Maybach S 560 near you

The Maybach continues to come in S560 and S650 models, depending on your choice of powertrains. Pricing was not announced for the 2019s, going on sale in the U.S. in the summer; the 2018s start at about $170,000 and build quickly with the myriad options.

The Maybach, formerly a standalone offering, is part of the Mercedes S-Class family, but stretched nearly 10 inches longer than the long-wheelbase S-Class sedan to 215 inches overall on a 132.5-inch wheelbase.

The most noticeable change for 2019 is the new grille, which replaces the horizontal bars with all vertical fins that the company says were inspired by a pinstripe suit and previewed in more extravagant form with the  Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 cabriolet  and  coupe  concepts seen, respectively, at the 2017 and 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

There also are some new, exclusive color combinations among the nine optional two-tone paint schemes. There is also a new 20-inch multispoke wheel for the top model, along with three exclusive 20-inch wheels not available for other S-Class sedans.

But the real luxury of the Maybach is inside to remind the buyer why they paid the big bucks. The interior gets two new color combinations, mixing brown or beige with black. But if you go with the Maybach black Nappa leather, you can order copper-, gold- or platinum-colored contrast stitching.

The stretched length goes for a spacious rear cabin, where the passengers (or owners) are treated to standard ambient lighting and individual heated, ventilated, massaging and power-reclining executive seats. They can ride in even more luxury back there with options such as calf rests and folding tables, matching leather throw pillows, silver champagne flutes, a minifridge compartment and a glass roof panel that can be darkened electronically.

(If all that  still  is not enough, Mercedes-Maybach does offer a separate, true limousine, the S-Class Pullman).

Under the Hood

The Maybach S560 is motivated by a 463-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 with nine-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. Torque is 516 pounds-feet, and it can propel the big sedan from zero-to-60 mph in an estimated 4.8 seconds. But if that’s not fast enough to leave the rabble behind, the S650 has Mercedes’ twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 that puts out 621 hp and a diesel-trucklike 738 pounds-feet of torque. Paired with a seven-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive only, it will hit 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

The S560 rides on adaptive air suspension. The S650 includes a body control system that uses a camera to scan the road ahead and react ahead of time to bumps and dips; it also can lean slightly into curves to help not to disturb the passengers.

If the main concerns are surviving city traffic and crowded freeways, the Maybach models share the full complement of Mercedes-Benz  Intelligent Drive  safety and driver assistance tech with the lesser S-Class models, including sensor technology upgraded for 2018 to look farther ahead and behind the car than previous models, and adaptive cruise control that employs navigation GPS and map data to adjust speed for upcoming curves, turns and intersections. Steering assist also is advanced beyond previous lane centering to handle tighter curves, more speeds and degraded lane markings, as well as assisting in keeping control in evasive swerves. It also now includes an automatic lane-change function.

In this price and size range, however, passenger safety might be about more than just crash avoidance. For dodgier environments or rebel insurgencies, the absolute Maybach safety flagship would be the armored version of the stretch limo, the  Maybach S 600 Pullman Guard .

German car manufacturer Dembell is launching the Actros, a new luxury RV nicknamed the “land yacht.”

The motorhome sports a sleek dark grey exterior with red racing stripes and logos decorating the laterals and rear. The interior is modern, cozy, and luxurious featuring premium materials, mood lighting and soft touches. The land yacht is equipped with a solar roof, two 55’ TVs, Bose home theater system, a 1,000-liter freshwater tank, an electric parasol tent with wind sensors, and Miele home appliances including an oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, vapor-withdrawal system and washer/dryer. The cockpit has four captain seats fitted with air-spring suspension and massage functions and the suite is equipped with a king-sized bed. Interior spaces can be maximized with three slide-outs for the kitchen, bedroom, or lounge area.

Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Is Still A Sight To Behold.

Automotive design is a very relative thing. What is the best-looking car in someone’s eyes could be just yet another vehicle on the road for someone else. Or, as wise people say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No matter if you like SUVs or sedans , if you like them big or small, however, there’s one car out there that looks absolutely stunning. By all definitions.

The Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet is an open-top cruiser presented in August 2017 at the Monterey Car Week. It’s an all-electric stunner built with the idea that it could be considered beautiful in any decade. If you saw this car, say, 100 years ago it would’ve been beautiful. Today it’s beautiful and in a 100-years' time, it still should look beautiful. And, honestly, it’s really amazing how they managed to fit just two seats in a 6-meter (19.7-feet) car.

This is what we learned from Supercar Blondie ’s latest video on YouTube which takes a closer look at the convertible concept. She even takes the study for a very short ride but doesn’t unleash all the 750 horsepower (550 kilowatts) from the four synchronous electric motors.

Thanks to a massive battery pack, the concept’s driving range is over 200 miles (322 kilometers). What’s more interesting, however, is that in just about five minutes you can recharge enough energy to drive it for another 60 miles (96 km). 

Maybach's Stunning Concepts:

The sprint from a standstill to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) happens in under four seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 kph). Those are the official figures released by Mercedes, unfortunately, not tested by Supercar Blondie .

Mercedes-Maybach S680 4Matic revealed: King of luxury sedans returns in a big way

V12 power and all-wheel drive are standard for the land yacht that is the Maybach S680.

Hear ye, hear ye, I present to you the king. The king of luxury sedans, that is. This is the 2022 Mercedes-Maybach S680 4Matic -- luxury sedan royalty. The creme de la creme. Making its debut Monday, the top-dog Maybach returns in a big way.

Foremost, the S650 is out, replaced by the S680. But just like the old S650, the S680 still denotes a twin-turbo V12 . Six liters of power hides under the long hood pumping out 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, which is plenty to scoot this car around. Mercedes-Benz says accelerating to 60 mph takes 4.4 seconds, and keep in mind, the car will almost certainly weigh over 5,000 pounds. So, yes, that's pretty darn quick.

All of that power routes through a nine-speed automatic transmission, and this time around, it goes to all four wheels with standard all-wheel drive. The brand said 31% of torque routes to the front, while the other 69% heads to the rear wheels to create a combination of dynamic and comfortable driving. Rear-wheel steering should help the S680 be much more maneuverable, despite its size, too. But, buyers probably don't care -- this is a car to be driven in, not drive.

Yeah, I'd nap back here.

Let's talk about the interior, then, because it's utterly scrumptious with Nappa leather as far as the eye can see. From the headliner to the seat cushions complete with diamond stitching, there's soft, supple leather everywhere. Hand gestures can open the doors, thanks to the very intelligent MBUX infotainment system. Mercedes says it even works if a driver parks on an incline. Once in the back seat, MBUX detects the fact and automatically extends the headrests. Passengers have adaptive rear lighting, two 11.6-inch displays to watch entertainment or browse the internet on and you must opt for the optional refrigerated compartment. The Maybach comes with two silver-plated champagne flutes and matching holders built into the center console to keep the glasses steady, even while moving. Ready for music? A Burmester 4D surround-sound system sits ready and willing.

When it comes to the exterior, it's a Maybach, so it certainly won't snap a neck. It does, however, still maintain that certain swagger that's hard to place. The car rides low and features Maybach-specific touches like the grille insert, lettering and sill plates. The two-tone paint is optional, but you must choose it because it's simply top-drawer. This is, after all, a car where you can ask, "Where does everybody summer?"

Prime yourself for the 2022 S680 4Matic and prepare to take out a second mortgage because it won't be cheap. The less-powerful S580 starts at nearly $200,000. No prices for this one just yet, but the sticker shock will land when Mercedes launches the car in the first half of next year.

2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600

Overwhelm the senses or starve them. Connect the driver so completely with the car that he has to duck to avoid the crankshaft throws, or isolate the cabin so absolutely that its occupants feel cleansed by its serenity. Constant stimulation or sensory deprivation? When engineering an expensive car, a path must be chosen.

But the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600 charts a difficult middle course. It’s not a frantic supercar, nor is it a numb isolation chamber on four wheels. Instead, it indulges each of the five senses in considered doses.

Of course, the new Maybach isn’t a car for people who merely have their names on parking spaces. It’s a $190,275, 523-hp, twin-turbo V-12–powered leviathan for the titans who have their names on buildings, especially in China.

Chinese culture, on the other hand, has a lingering caste system, and the nouveau gentry expect to be driven in regal comfort while they drink chilled Cristal from the optional sterling-silver champagne flutes. Mercedes expects that 50 percent of new Maybachs will head there.

Let’s check out the Maybach S600, one sense at a time.

Look closely at the details as you take in all eighteen feet.

Most of the new Maybach’s mechanical substance is identical to the standard S600’s. During assembly, an additional steel panel gets welded to the floorpan, and new extended aluminum rear quarters and a longer roof are bonded to the structure. With an 8.1-inch wheelbase stretch, and the addition of chrome B-pillars and small windows behind the doors, the result is massive-looking, but with a lavish, provocative profile.

However, on the standard S600’s multispoke wheels, the Maybach also looks anonymous. It’s the dazzling, optional Maybach-exclusive 20-inchers that bring the necessary eyeball wallop. Like silver Tiffany serving bowls embedded into a polished set of E-T slot mags, the Maybach wheels visually lower the car’s center of gravity and give it a frisson of futurism. They’re encased in 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 run-flat tires with square shoulders and steamroller tread patterns. It’s all very master of the universe–type stuff.

So forget the individual media screens in the rear lounge, don’t bother with the seven possible colors of ambient interior lighting you can choose from, and don’t look up through the standard pano­ram­ic sunroof; the visual feast lies under each fender.

Take off your shoes. Now take off your socks. That's real sheep.

All the Maybach’s stretch translates into additional legroom for the two occupants in back, who are seated in thrones that look as if they were pulled from an executive jet. With separate power controls, pillow-style headrests, extendable legrests, and a perfectly coddling shape, they’re as good for napping as any bed in your house. Six-footers won’t be able to tap the front seatbacks with their feet.

Add the rear-seat comfort package—it really should be called the insanely comfortable rear-seat package—and a hot-stone-massage system is included. It’s the best thing you can touch in automobiledom, though it doesn’t offer a happy ending. Save for a few controls, there isn’t a ­surface that the rear-seat passengers can caress, pet, or stroke that didn’t once moo. Unless they go barefoot. Then, their toes sink into plush, sheepskin floor mats. Those used to go baa.

Listen carefully and you'll hear nothing.

Mercedes claims that the Maybach S600’s rear passengers sit in the quietest space in any car. Even the seatbelts’ inertial reels are sealed to reduce the offensive noise of their operation.

Silence isn’t always a virtue, though, so every Maybach carries either a Burmester surround-sound system or the even higher-end 3-D surround-sound system that faithfully replicates orchestral music and has tweeters that pop out and rotate when in use. But the Maybach’s most engaging sound is heard mostly by the driver. Pressing the start button initiates an ignition sequence that whirs the big 6.0-liter twin-turbo V-12 to life as if the ground plugs had been pulled and fuel pumps started on a moon-bound Saturn V rocket.

Unfortunately, as with other S600s , the Maybach also uses the eco stop-start system that shuts off the engine at every stop. And it gets annoying hearing the engine rumble back to life every few minutes in traffic. The system can be turned off but defaults back to on every time you restart. An eco mode in such a staggeringly large and thirsty land yacht is a feint galling enough to insult the intelligence of its buyers.

On the road, the E-Coupe swaddles you in opulent comfort, and with its well-padded interior, noise from the outside is almost miles away.

Under the hood, the E 300 gets the same 2.0 which powers the E 200, but in a higher stage of tune, delivering 241hp and 370Nm of twist from as-low-as 1,400rpm, delivering it at full whack until 4,000rpm. While its century sprint is a pretty quick 6.4 seconds, revving this four-banger hard, quickly reveals some of the rough audible edges a V6 would not display. But while the E 300 does check the performance box rather well, it feels more at-home wafting you around in comfort.

All-round visibility is also very good, as there is plenty of glass, and the interior is also well-lit, helping to visually bring out the best in its upholstery.

The E-Coupe currently does not have competing car in the market. The older 6 Series Coupe from BMW is no longer available, and does come across as a little more aggressive, while the Merc leans more onto the luxurious side. There is the just-announced AMG version of the car, the E 53 4MATIC, which will deliver beast-like performance, but the E 300 is built for that personal, relaxed and luxurious drive we certainly love.

And luxurious and creamy smooth it really is.

2024 Mercedes-AMG GLS63 Is a Posh Family Truckster

With 603 hp on tap, the biturbo V8 serves up lots of power for lots of money.

• The 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLS63 4Matic is the in-house tuner's seven-seat SUV, serving up 603 hp courtesy of a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 paired with a 48-volt hybrid setup.
• The GLS63 is an opulent cruiser with dazzling tech inside and certainly feels more comfortable on the freeway than it does in town, even though it's maneuverable enough in extra-urban settings.
• With a starting price of $146,900, the 2024 GLS63 4Matic (optioned to $155,200 as seen in these photos) is a very complete and luxurious land yacht, ready for long vacation blasts on the interstate, especially if fuel economy is not a concern.

But the boxy and once-spartan G-Class remains a somewhat different offering , one that's not really aimed at long-distance cruises with six or seven people on board.

That's what the GLS-Class is still for, even though most of the time you'll see it on much shorter trips, like in the drop-off lane at a private school.

But even among the various versions of the GLS-Class there are different levels of performance and luxury. At the bottom end of that range we have a diesel version, not available stateside but certainly popular enough in Europe.

And at the top end we have the Mercedes-AMG GLS63 4Matic, which can be easily optioned to twice as much as a base version costs in Europe.

The GLS63 remains a niche and somewhat aloof offering at a time when complex hybrids and EVs are inching toward this elite segment. And its biturbo V8 certainly reminds us of a time when AMG was an outside tuner in the 1990s when, along with Brabus, it was stuffing the biggest V8s it could find into everything Mercedes-Benz made.

In the case of the GLS63, it's "merely" a 4.0-liter V8 these days, but it's helped by turbocharging and a 48-volt hybrid setup, producing 603 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque.

But for the moment it doesn't really have a direct competitor among EVs, and it won't have one for a while. Even Mercedes' own EQS SUV is a unique machine , aimed at a different use case and a different buyer, one who won't be taking six other passengers on a road trip anytime soon.

The GLS63 will do that, with a bass soundtrack and a range the EQS SUV can't match.

But is the GLS63 worth the hefty price premium over the base GLS-Class, or is it worth two other well-optioned SUVs from Mercedes?

We had a chance to test the 2024 GLS63 4Matic over the course of several hundred miles on the roads of a major city and the rural interstate alike, and we came away impressed with its ability to prevent fatigue over long journeys, even after hours of driving on some rather large 23-inch wheels.

That's more of a credit to the seats and the height-adjustable suspension rather than the biturbo V8 underhood, but the V8 certainly allows one to exploit overtaking opportunities during high-speed cruising, making this a comfortable way to eat up hundreds of miles in an afternoon while offering 18 mpg on the highway (if you take it easy on the gas).

The jumbo wheels in this day and age seem mandatory in this price range, but we're not sure they do the ride quality any favors on standard US urban pavement. We didn't hear any metal clangs driving over some urban pavement that hadn't seen patchwork since the Clinton administration, but there isn't much rubber stretched across those 23-inch rims, either.

Unlike in other vehicles of its type, the Sport and Sport+ modes actually do transform the performance noticeably, without resorting to just making the exhaust louder and the gear changes more aggressive.

For relaxed highway cruising, the 603-hp GLS63 has more than enough power on tap even in Comfort mode, but it becomes a much more focused machine in Sport mode, feeling like a much smaller and lighter SUV.

When pressed to impersonate a sports sedan, the GLS63 can hide most of its weight, but despite 3.6-second sprints from 0 to 60 mph it can't quite hide all of it in the corners. As such, this remains more a hefty 44-gun frigate that can impress with straight-line acceleration, as well as braking, but isn't quite compact enough to be asked to do more.

Sport+ mode does its best to sharpen its reflexes, but it's best to remember that you're in a heavy vehicle with three rows of seats.

The interior of the GLS63 is just this side of baroque, in contrast to BMW's more abstract, angular themes found in its X7 mega-yacht, but it suits the AMG model well, with ergonomic seats and suede surfaces quickly making sense in a vehicle with this kind of price tag.

The plastic steering column shifter, which seemed fragile when it debuted, has become standard across the range a while ago—with Mercedes choosing not to mess with what isn't broken—and the drive mode selection dial attached to the steering wheel, complete with its own little display screen, has also become familiar over time.

The twin 12.3-inch screens in the cabin have become a common sight in the top models Mercedes offers, but the automaker has also retained physical buttons beneath the air vents, so not everything is hidden in complex menus. A touchpad on the center console doubles as a controller for the infotainment screen, and it's orbited by more buttons to quickly call up a map or radio controls.

Mercedes' voice assistant is adept at taking instructions for radio channel changes and interior temperature tweaks, though more complex instructions regarding routes are a bit beyond its reach for now.

On the trim front, Mercedes hasn't followed other automakers down the Piano Black route, which keeps the interior looking non-greasy, with upscale metallic switches and buttons helping keep everything fingerprint-free. It's an interior those familiar with 1990s Benzes will likely appreciate.

The middle row seats, meanwhile, do a good impression of first-class airline seats, especially when reclined, while also leaving quite a bit of legroom for back-row passengers.

The third row of seats is reasonably generous, as far as these things go, but it does take a few seconds for the powered second row of seats to roll forward to allow ingress and egress.

Affalterbach's galleon is perhaps one of the last vehicles of its generation, just before everything becomes electric, with some kind of giant battery and a comparable (if not higher) six-figure price tag.

This era is already upon us, in a way, but so far we haven't really seen anything approach the GLS-Class' level of luxury, space, passenger comfort, range, or completeness, with Mercedes itself designing the electric EQS SUV to offer a very different experience.

There's no replacement for displacement, as the old saying goes, and the GLS63 proves a more user-friendly and complete machine than a comparably priced Range Rover at the moment.

The GLS63 throws in everything and the kitchen sink while delivering everyday practicality, as strange as that sounds for something with a biturbo V8 with 603 hp on tap, and a starting price of $146,900.

The closest alternative, if you're in the mood to save some money and buy an A-Class tender with the leftover cash, is Mercedes' own non-AMG GLS, which starts at $88,150 these days.

Odds are, if you're looking at vehicles like these, you can probably afford either one, with the AMG model delivering that extra oomph without seeming excessively garish or resorting to controversial designs to get attention in traffic.

Land Yacht's trademark roof deck is made from durable marine-grade aluminum and PlasTEAK planking. This elevated platform gives you the high ground for watching athletic events, the stars, or just catching some rays.

Interior Upgrade

A complete interior upholstery makeover including styling and stitching upgrades add a flare of luxury to the otherwise utilitarian Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Leather seats are optional.

Custom Armrest

Land Yacht’s custom ergonomically designed raised armrest greatly improves posture by raising the door armrest up to the same level as the seat armrest resulting in reduced strain on your back and neck.

Ride in comfort and style in captain's chairs that recline, swivel and even give you a massage (optional). Other chair options include heat, air cooling, power footrest, power lumbar and 6-way power movement.

Land Yacht’s unique Bunk Bench seats three and the hinged back raises up and converts to a 2-person bunk bed. TANK 77 can be configured to use two Bunk Benches allowing seating for 10 and sleeping four.

Land Yacht offers a line of cabinets that include a 26" and 40" floor model and an overhead with LED lighting. Options include all drawers, or a mix of doors and drawers. An open concept overhead is also available.

Power System

The TANK 77 power system includes a 2,000 Watt (4,000 Watt surge) inverter that provides standard 120VAC to several wall outlets. The outlets include dual USB charger connections for your cell phones and tablets.

The optional Tow Bench Package includes a 3-person bench, foot rest and umbrella holder all attached to the tow hitch using a stainless steel square pipe. Drink holders, umbrella and fishing pole mounts are included.

Add some bling and style with optional polished chrome rims and Michelin tires. The Michelin tire brand offers a smoother ride and better wear.

Land Yacht’s optional privacy curtain blocks unwanted noise from the front or the back. Features include ceiling mounted rail, magnetic snaps and tie downs on the side.

Premium Sound

Land Yacht offers a simple amplifier and speaker upgrade to the stock Sprinter radio as well as a 700 Watt receiver upgrade with high end speakers and woofer.

YETI Coolers

TANK 77 includes the YETI Roadie cooler. Larger YETIs are optional and stow out of the way under Land Yacht’s unique space saving aluminum bench frames.

lexus expands LY680 yacht's swimming platform and flybridge to fit a barbecue grill on deck

Lexus expands ly680 luxury yacht’s flybridge.

At the Japan International Boat Show 2024, Lexus unveiled the 1/20 scale model of its new LY680 Luxury Yacht , an upgrade of the previous LY650 water vehicle . Lexus’ latest model comes with an expanded swimming platform and flybridge to accommodate more guests on deck. The extended flybridge, which measures 1,400mm, now features a spacious lounge area and a dedicated barbecue grill, while the swimming platform has been expanded by 700mm to accommodate additional guests who wish to take a dip in the sea.

When Lexus conceived the idea for its LY680 Luxury Yacht, even before its debut at the Japan International Boat Show 2024 , the design team aimed to create a water vehicle that would feel like a ‘tranquil hideaway at sea.’ They imagined it as a moving space where ‘discerning customers could feel free and at ease.’ The resulting concept was a three-level luxury yacht equipped with living spaces that make the LY680 feel like a deluxe apartment on the sea.

The passengers enter the Lexus’ LY680 Luxury Yacht, and when they descend, they can find a kidney-shaped sofa nestled in one corner. Adjacent to the sofa is a desk with a plush seat, tailored as a workspace at sea for those who still need to hustle. Panoramic windows adorn the space, offering views of the waters and allowing natural light to flood in. The use of dark, varnished wood adds a sense of opulence to the interior, and across from the sofa and desk, a semi-circular bed invites passengers to relax while watching the waves and scenery through slanted windows.

Walking up to the control area, the captain of Lexus’ LY680 Luxury Yacht navigates the water vehicle with ease through the expansive set of windows. The openness of the space is further enhanced by plush seating, two of them reminiscent of cinema seats. Even the wooden floors help brighten up the overall aesthetic. During the Japan International Boat Show 2024, where yacht enthusiasts could view the 1/20 scale model of the LY680, Lexus revealed that the luxury yacht can accommodate up to 15 passengers across three rooms with six beds.

Twin Volvo engines for Lexus’ LY680 Luxury Yacht

For those interested in specifications, Lexus’ LY680 Luxury Yacht is expected to be equipped with Twin Volvo IPS 1350/1050 engines and have a fuel tank capacity of 4,012 liters and a fresh water tank capacity of 852 liters. Production of the luxury yacht will be carried out by the Horizon Group, based on the Toyota Production System. Lexus has announced that yacht enthusiasts can reserve their water vehicle model through Toyota Marine sales offices in Japan and select dealerships. As of publishing, Lexus aims to deliver the first batch of the LY680 Luxury Yacht in Spring 2026, with international availability pending based on customer demand.

I visited this restaurant together with a business relation. Food was ok, salad was a surprise, see my pictures. I tried the local beer which was on tap, pretty light but tasty. We also ordered the flat bread with cheese, which was a good choice.... My Chicken shashlik was not outstanding, but acceptable. More

Just the Georgian place as it should be. Meats are superb, maybe a little less spicy that one might expect...

I visited this restaurant during the week with friends. I had chicken shashlik, bean stew and khachapuri. All were delicious. The staff were friendly and the Georgian white and red wine were both delectable. I would recommend a visit.
