Position: Deckhand/Stewardess for a seasonal role on a 24m private/charter motor yacht based in Monaco. Shared cabin with the chef (female). Responsibilities include assisting with deck duties and stewardess tasks, ready to start immediately until mid-October. English fluency is mandatory, with a drama-free and positive attitude sought. Yachting experience not required, but ENG 1 and STCW certifications necessary. Monthly salary ranges from 2,500 to 3,000 euros.

Chief Steward/Chief Stewardess sought for a 100% private (no charters) 80m/262 feet yacht in Monaco .

The Standard of service and housekeeping is very high in this vessel. This position would suit someone who already has Chief Stew experience on a similar vessel or a strong 2nd Stew who is looking to take a step up. We are looking for a self-starter, with a positive upbeat attitude who is ready to hit the ground running.

• Yacht is mainly in Monaco
• Vessel will travel mainly in the Mediterranean Sea
• Owner uses the vessel for up to 6 months per year, but the yacht is on standby at all times

Second Engineer – 80m – Build

We're working with an 80m yacht that's still in build and are looking for a second engineer to join them.

• The position requires a minimum SV EOOW or EOOW Unlimited ticket, if you hold your 2nd engineer unlimited ticket or are close to achieving it, this is looked upon favourably. 
• Any experience with setting up systems, warranty periods, refits or build experience would be beneficial but not essential. You must have prior experience on yachts to be considered. 
• The yacht will also consider an experienced 3rd engineer (4+ years as 3rd on yachts), who is looking for a step up to 2nd. 
• Accommodation provided, daily food allowance and medical insurance. 
• 38 days leave during the build, this will move to a 2/2 rotation after launch in 2025.
• €6,500 – €8,000 salary depending on experience and ticket. 
• Dual season itinerary after launch.

Second Engineer – 50m+ – 3:1 rotation

We're working with a 50m+ new build support yacht that will be joining a larger fleet following delivery later this year. 

• You will be joining during the final stages of the build so will gain experience in this area.
• There is a tight knit crew on board who have a fun and outgoing dynamic so they would like someone who can fit in with this, any water sport lovers will fit right in!

-You must already hold your B1B2 visa for this role, please don't apply without it as it is essential with the boat's itinerary.

– We are looking for an organised and efficient Crew Chef with previous experience on similar-sized vessels. You will be responsible for all crew food onboard and therefore must be confident in running this section of the galley independently to allow the other Chefs to focus on guest food – this said, you will be proactive, productive and able to work solo at times.  

-Team of 4 in the galley including this role. 

-The successful candidate will be used to cooking for higher crew numbers but also have enough experience and confidence to assist in other areas if needed. You will ideally have a few year's experience in the industry but could be newer if you have a good high-end restaurant background and at least a year onboard.  

– Crew food should be varied with different cuisine styles and a focus on the healthier side of things.

• 50m Dual season Private/Charter yacht are looking for Chief officer to join them within the next 2-3 weeks
• Open to both Male or Female candidates
• Well run yacht with an established Captain who we know well! Great team and lovely owners
• The yacht runs a mixture of private and charter usage and is shipped to the Caribbean for Winters. Med cruising this Summer with 1 charter booked and several further enquiries
• They are looking for someone who is confident with watch keeping as they move around a lot and often at night along with solid leadership experience and able to run a deck team of 2
• For manning requirements, they require a YM offshore or IYT 200, someone working towards OOW would be good
• AEC1 and AEC2 also required for manning however they could consider someone with AEC 1 who is willing to complete AEC2 before joining
• PWC instructor would be advantageous
• On offer is a salary of 6000 Euros, 42 days leave, even split of tips along with 2 return flights

2nd Stew / Relief Chief

• We are looking for an experienced 2nd Stew to join this lovely yacht in the coming few weeks 
• Med based yacht for now, although there has been talks of heading to the Indian Ocean, you must be happy to do either! 
• You will be 2nd Stew in a team of 6, supporting the Chief Stew and also covering her when she is on leave (90 days a year)
• Great English speaking owners that are familiar with the crew. They can be particular about some elements of the interior but nothing out of the ordinary! 
• Yacht will predominantly be used by the owners with occasional guests
• We would love a candidate that is great with coffee/cocktails and maybe even wine too
• Table scaping and being creative are great skills to have too

A busy private MY is looking for a stewardess with strong hospitality and service background for the season. The yacht is currently in Monaco and will travel the Med. You will also travel with the owners to their house in Switzerland in Jan and Feb each year, there maybe other travel involved also. The candidate must be fluent in English and a knowledge of French and Italian would be a bonus.  You will have your own cabin whilst onboard the yacht The owner is great and has old fashioned values. There is a chef that provides all the meals to the yacht. All tax and social security will be arranged and a contract organised. You will provide  butler/ service and some housekeeping also. EU passport holders only due to working in Europe or with valid carte sejour etc.

The position will be to start in September however the candidate must be available for interviews now in Monaco. Then the position will start 1st of September.

Yacht STEWARDESS Jobs

If you are looking for a career which will take you to some of the most beautiful and stunning locations in the world, then why not consider becoming a yacht steward or stewardess. An entry-level position, a yacht steward or stewardess is the excellent starting point for a fulfilling yacht career. What’s more, your salary may even be tax-free, depending on your nation of origin. A central part of the yacht’s interior crew, the primary job responsibilities includes ensuring the interior of the yacht is kept to highest of standard while offering premium guest service to the yacht owners and guests. Yacht steward and stewardess jobs are available on both privately owned yachts as well as charter yachts, which are rented out per day or week.

Yacht steward and stewardess jobs are widely seen as the entry-level route to a fulfilling career in yachting. From this role, one can work their up the ladder into more specialised management or interior positions, like head of interior, chief steward and head of service. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A yacht steward or stewardess daily tasks cover general housekeeping, service duties and serving. This includes doing laundry for the guests and crew, preparing and serving drinks, meal service duties, polishing tableware, interior decorations and maintaining the bar. The exact day-to-day job description of a steward or stewardess varies per yacht, type and size of the yacht, as well as the itinerary and season.

A common working schedule for yacht stewards and stewardesses when guests are not aboard is 8 am to 5 pm, with two days off per week. Hours tend to increase when guests or owners on onboard, as yachts run 24 hours a day. 

YACHT STEWARDESS SALARIES

The average salary on charter and private yachts for steward and stewardess jobs starts at €2,400 a month. More senior roles, such as chief steward and chief stewardess, can earn more than €8,000 a month. When working on charter yachts, stewards can also expect to make solid tips. Still, it is easier for junior or novice stewards to gain valuable experience working on private yachts first, as the work pace tends to be slower.

Looking for a temporary position? this one's for you! We are currently looking for a Sole Chef to join a private 30m motor yacht until the middle of September.

The vessel is currently for sale and has a 2-week boss trip planned in the next few weeks. As the Sole Chef, you will be responsible for cooking simple and healthy Mediterranean meals to a high standard with excellent plating skills essential. You will be cooking for a crew of 5 and up to 8 guests when on trip. Because of the size of the vessel, you should be happy to help in other departments if needed. You must be available within a few days to get acquainted on the vessel before the owners come on board.

Looking for a seasonal Second Stewardess to join a 35m Motor Yacht. This is a busy charter and private vessel with still 5 trips to go until the end of the season. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 seasons of experience or substantial land-based experience as well as yachting for example (winter season work). This is a role great for someone who is hard-working, enjoys working under pressure and is a self-starter. You will be working alongside a Lead Stewardess and as part of a lovely crew with a long-standing Captain.

Crew and Concierge are looking for a temporary Deck/Stew to join a 25m in Palma from tomorrow (18th of July) until the end of the month to cover a short 1-week boss trip. It will just be yourself and the Captain but when there are guests onboard there will be a Chef so you won't need to worry about cooking. This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience as a Deck/Stewardess and is keen to work as part of a good programme and fleet.  Please only apply if you are based in Spain already and available to join tomorrow.

We are currently looking for a temporary Chef to join a private 50m motor vessel. This position would start on the 1st of August for 1 month. 

The vessel has plans to cruise Greece, and potentially Italy and France. As the Sole Chef, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the galley, all provisioning, storage and stock rotation, as well as menu planning to suit the guest preferences. You will be cooking for a crew of 13 and between 4 and 12 guests, with guests onboard for the duration. You must be happy to provide both family-style and plated service and be confident in Mediterranean cuisine.

This role will involve working and travelling between various properties within Central London, so someone who drives and is fit and active is a must. We are looking for candidates who have worked for the UHNWI in the past and are used to the requirements that come with working in a large family office and household. Your responsibilities and role will include, but is not limited to cleaning and arranging guest rooms, washing clothing and linen, stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies, receiving visitors and showing guests around to name a few. You may also be asked to run errands and manage wardrobes as well. In some places, you may be asked to do the shopping or help the chefs with a little service. We are looking for well-presented, happy candidates with a good eye for detail. There is room for progression within this role as the team slowly grows. The team will get bigger and there will be room to develop! *You MUST be based within commutable distance of Central London, and prepared to move land-based. You also MUST have the right to live and work in the UK, and hold a valid, clean driving licence*

You'll need to hold your Y3 license or equivalent and ideally have sailing experience. You will have a second engineer who will assist, so previous experience of managing someone is also ideal. You'll be joining in the Med where they will spend the summer. As the Chief Engineer, you will be fully responsible for all aspects of the engineering department, making sure all operations run smoothly.

Skippers! We are URGENTLY looking for a temporary Captain to join a 15m Motor Yacht in the South of France for a boss trip. To be considered for the role, you MUST be located in the South of France already and have your Yachtmaster Offshore. You will assist the owner with a boss trip for a few weeks and cruise around Saint Tropez, Corsica and Sardinia. You will live on the vessel and be responsible for all operations with up to 6 guests. The vessel is currently in the yard after having an extensive refit and has plans to start cruising in October, which is when they will see themselves heading to South America, French Polynesia as well as Australia and New Zealand. To be considered you will need to hold your Yachtmaster as a minimum and have at least 2 years of large sailing yacht experience. Ideally, you will be working towards your OOW as well. If you hold your PADI dive certificates, ideally Divemaster or Instructor, this will be a huge bonus. As the Bosun, you will be responsible for guiding 1 deckhand and overseeing all deck operations with the support of the First Mate.

Chief Officers! We have an exciting position for an experienced Chief Officer or 2nd Officer to join a 52m private and charter Motor Yacht. The vessel is dual-season with around 3 months of owner usage and roughly 6 charters per year. The owners are relaxed with adults and young children. As the Chief Officer on 5:1 rotation, you will be responsible for all paperwork, registrations and bridge duties during periods with no guests and involved with organising the deck team of 4. With guests on, your role will be split with 20% deck duties, assisting with driving the 50ft+ chase boats and organising the team for guest activities. You will need your Chief Mate 3000 as a minimum and ideally, you will have 3 years of Chief or 2nd Officer experience.
