This was the most epic trip. We took our friends and family to Catalina for an amazing day.  Captain Mark was absolutely phenomenal.  He was super fun and accommodating.  He took us around wherever we wanted to go and care of everything. He set up all the toys and made sure we had everything we wanted at all times.  The boat is gorgeous and was spotless.  This was one of the most memorable days ever.  Thank you!!!

Captain Mark and Aperitivo = Only the Best! We had a super fun full life aquatic day for the Huntington Beach Airshow with fam and friends. Yachting with Captain Mark felt more like yachting with family. Mark has a boating CV that is lifelong, outstanding professional experience with a penchant for safety. That said; it was max fun knowing we were in great hands and enjoyed the day with blue skies, blue water and a high caliber Airshow out in the ocean.  I even brought my father whom recently turned 79. He became as youthful as a teenager on full smiles out on the water with Mark showing him the ropes of yacht Aperitivo. All my friends are already calling me to make plans and get their families out on the water. Highly recommended, do not hesitate, get out and yacht; nothing but outstanding family/friends memories that will not be forgotten; thank you Mark, thank you Aperitivo 100%.

We chartered the Aperitivo for my daughter’s 15th birthday. Mark the Captain made us all feel comfortable and safe. His experience and knowledge of the ocean were very apparent. Everyone had a great time swimming, hanging out on the swim float, and paddleboarding. I had no idea how fast 4 hours could go by. The kids all had a blast and were very grateful of their time on the water. If you’re in the Newport Beach area and want to spend some quality time on a luxury vessel, then book this boat. The 68m/223'1" 'Loon' (ex. Icon) motor yacht built by the Dutch shipyard Icon Yachts is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Studio Linse.

Built in 2010, Loon boasts a multitude of decks ideal for relaxation and entertainment indoors or outdoors, ensuring guests will live la dolce vita on the open waters. Her features include underwater lights, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Loon offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, two double cabins, two twin cabins and one cabin that can operate as twin or double. The master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room. There are 8 beds in total, including 1 king, 3 queen and 4 singles. A crew of nineteen, who specialize in creating exceptional charters, are on hand to provide guests with a yacht charter vacation to remember.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on Loon is easy thanks to the available amenities, notably a sauna to help you detox and regenerate. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun and in addition make your day truly exceptional at the beach club. You can visit the well-equipped gym so that you can keep up with your fitness routine at sea and sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably the underwater lights, adding spectacle and style after dark. With Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to and in addition guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Loon is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles from her 193,200 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Loon knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with an extensive selection of action packed water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. In addition there are two waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are two SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and see a variety of aquatic sea life. If that isn't enough Loon also features wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment, scuba diving equipment, beach games and much more. Loon features three tenders, but leading the pack is a 7.2m/23'7" Nautique Ski Boat to transport you in style.

The 90-foot Dream Maker is one of our most popular yachts accommodating up to 90 guests. Built in P-510 during WWII, formerly referred to as crash boats, this one was stationed in the Aleutian Islands in 1943-44 as Air Force vessels that waited in the water for a chance to rescue downed pilots. There are only 200 surviving crash boats. They were kept a secret for 25 years after the Korean War. Her status as a Canadian-owned vessel would have prevented her from ever being certified by the U.S. Coast Guard for charters had it not been for some smart persuasion with the local Congressman to have her deemed by Congress as "a historical vessel".

After military service she was sold to a Canadian who renamed her "Magnum Force" and re-fitted her as a private yacht complete with staterooms, salon, and a Jacuzzi on the bow. Some of the original bunks remain. Recent renovations include a classic contemporary look with marble and natural wood accents. The modern main salon is tastefully decorated and features a lounge area with teak detailing. Comfortable couches line both sides of the room, and wraparound windows afford a 360-degree view. She also boats a spacious open-air bow with comfortable seating, full bar, built-in dance floor and bride's cabin.
