R Class is the Fastest Ever Hull from Princess Yachts

To develop the R35, which is the first Princess R Class model, the British builder worked with globally renowned experts. BAR Technologies, known for its America’s Cup advancements, helped to develop the Princess Active Foil System. It includes twin carbon foils beneath the waterline to reduce drag.

Pininfarina, the Italian automaker, helped to develop the R35’s carbon-fiber hull. The team at Princess added a glass helm, Esthec soles, a Naim audio system and other onboard comforts for which the builder is known.

Princess is calling the 35-footer a “technologically game-changing yacht” that is ideal for day cruises or a weekend on the hook, with a belowdecks galley, head, and seating that converts to a berth.

Princess classes

Princess Yachts M-Class superyachts are the flagship brand line for true luxury. A series of superyachts includes three modifications on 30/35/40 meters.

The complete set of each yacht may vary depending on the individual preferences of the customer. Class M yachts can be equipped with three decks, beach areas, folding balconies.

The brand allows you to customize the yacht, offering a wide range of features and additional options.

The Y Class motor yachts from the Princess Yachts British brand are the very middle ground, designed to satisfy the needs of most lovers of sea travel.

The models of this line boast luxury, comfort and premiumness, which allows them to compete with the flagship M-series almost on equal terms.

With all the obvious advantages, class Y yachts have a more affordable price, which pleasantly surprises buyers. The manufacturer clearly demonstrates: premium and exclusive design do not always require excessive costs.

Princess Yachts F Class are premium class cruisers designed for the most comfortable boat trips.

Motor yachts from the eminent British manufacturer seem to be created for small cruises on the Black and Mediterranean Sea.

Guests of a luxury seagoing boat can enjoy stunning views overboard, comfortable facilities and designer cabin interiors.

Princess Yachts V Class yachts do not leave indifferent even the most discerning connoisseurs.

The manufacturer paid special attention to the geometry of the hull, made in a graceful V-shape.

Thanks to this decision, the ship confidently conquers the rebellious waves, while maintaining a smooth ride.

Princess Yachts S Class are premium class modern cruisers equipped with advanced equipment and designer cabin interiors.

A relatively young series of sportbridge yachts includes several modifications: 19-meter model S60, 20.3-meter S65, 22.55 meter S72.

Premium cruisers are distinguished by more luxurious interior decoration and larger sizes compared to V class models.

The X-Class is the epitome of a brand new vision for superyacht design technology.

When developing a model for the flybridge class, Princess Yachts decided to change the familiar concepts in architecture and give life to updated standards of comfort.

The X-Class model will be the best solution for a cruise sea holiday and long trips. The series is perfect for people who prefer to stay on board for as long as possible, enjoying beautiful views.

Princess Yachts R-class is a skillful combination of dynamism, grace, modern technology and luxury.

A model of this class attracts the eye with a provocative design: the 35-foot yacht is made of high-quality carbon fiber.

Thanks to the powerful new V8 engines, the yacht is able to develop an impressive 50 knots, cutting through the sea with incredible speed. At the same time, the yacht is no less comfortable for lovers of leisurely water cruises.

Princess Yachts R-Class 35

British yacht builder's princess r35.

Princess Yachts has a new boat class under development. The carbon fiber boat was developed together with BAR Technologies and the Italian design studio Pininfarina. The prototype was wrapped in a new version of Dazzle Camouflage , designed by Katie Sheppard of the Plymouth College of Art.

The R35 comes with an Active Foil System (AFS) for lower drag and more stability. Two all-aluminum V8 petrol engines power the boat up to 50 knots.

The cabin’s interior comes with a U-shape seating with a table that can be turned into a double bed. A galley with sink, drawers and some storage space. Furthermore, a 32-inch TV connected to a Naim audio system and a bow camera. Also, a wet-room with shower and lavatory is onboard.

The R Class

Working with our long term partners, Princess Yachts, to launch the revolutionary new R35, we set out to create a campaign that brought a new audience to the brand and got people talking about this industry first boat.

With the challenge of having no physical product during phase 1 of the campaign, as it was still in build, we worked with Hocus Pocus to create a first of it’s kind, anime-inspired animation that teased the boat and it’s design.

Following the global launch of the boat we built on the animation with a live action commercial that explored similar themes of suspense and intrigue. Shot with a stripped back crew on an island off the coast of Columbia that had never been filmed on before, another first for the campaign, our short filmed aired on TV and social, as well as in cinemas across the country.

Luxury rules at the moscow yacht show.

The windy Russian autumn weather might be a little bit tricky for sailing, but it doesn’t stop brave yachtsmen from all over the world from flocking to Russian capital in the beginning of September when the Moscow Yacht Show commences. The main Russian Yacht exhibition gathers professional and amateur yacht lovers together under the wing of The Royal Yacht Club.

This year it took place for a fourth time already. The exhibition is considered the principal event on the sporting and social calendar. The Moscow Yacht Show 2010 united in one area three of the largest Russian yachts distributors: Ultramarine, Nordmarine and Premium Yachts.

A wide range of yachts were on display for a week. An exhibition showcased yachts both from Russian manufacturers and world famous brands: Azimut, Princess, Ferretti, Pershing, Riviera, Doral, Linssen, etc.

It was a real feast for seafarers as visitors of the show had a unique chance not only to take a look at the newest superyachts before they hit the market, but also to evaluate their driving advantages during the test drive. The show provided an excellent opportunity for yacht enthusiasts to choose and buy a new boat for the next season.

The event started with the grandiose gala evening. It included grand dinner, the concert and professional awards ceremony for achievements in Russian yachting industry. The guests also enjoyed the annual regatta.

Special guest Paolo Vitelli, Azimut Benetti Group president, opened the evening.

Next year organizers assured guests they would bring more yachts, the scale of which will even make oligarch Roman Abramovich envious. Sounds very promising indeed.
