The Aruba Mod.38 is a brand-new day cruiser that can carry up to 10 guests for a day charter.

This beautiful boat is equipped with many features like a gyro stabilizer, 2 fridges, an ice maker, a grill, a Fusion Bluetooth stereo system with 8 speakers and a subwoofer and awnings for the bow and aft tables. The aft table can also be turned into a solarium.

The Aruba Mod.38 has one master cabin, a bathroom with shower and a coffee station in the salon, she is equipped with air conditioning as well. The cruising speed is 22 knots with a top speed of 30 knots. She comes with optional toys such as snorkeling gear, paddle boards or even a Seabob.

We had a wonderful day on this beautiful catamaran. Plenty of food and drinks kept us going, and Captain Borja and stewardess Esther were very helpful and accommodating, especially when one of our group was seasick. They adjusted the plan and brought us into calmer waters, and even offered a refund for the shorter time that we were on board from what we’d booked. Impossible to fault - they were brilliant!

The boat team is absolutely amazing! We were at big group of ten and they made every minute of it remarkable, easy and full of fun! We enjoyed being on the water and the food was amazing along side the several glasses of sangria! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking to have a great time on a boat and see the beautiful view of the coast of Barcelona!

We had a wonderful afternoon on the water with our captain Baggen! Communication before our trip was excellent and we had no trouble finding the boat slip in Port Olimpic. Baggen was very accommodating and sailed us north to an area where we could anchor and swim for a bit - the water was freezing but refreshing! There were some refreshments offered and we brought plenty of our own too. We loved our day on the water and highly recommend this experience!

There are no individual boats for groups larger than 125 people in Barcelona, but there are a couple of fun options for that corporate team (of up to 400 people!) that is keen to get in the water….

Sailing Regatta (up to 400 people)

If you’re hosting an event for more than 125 people it will be hard to get them on one boat… that’s when a sailing regatta could be a better option. During this sporting challenge up to 400 people can take part, racing against each other on small boats of up to 8 people plus skipper. The activity is a really great way to challenge your colleagues in a new environment, and really test their team working and communication capabilities. Multinationals such as Pepsi, Mars, Zurich, Unilever, DHL and Swarovski have all booked this very event for their staff in recent years. What do i need to rent a yacht.

To rent a yacht you just have to enter the web and select the day and time on our calendar. Do not forget to bring your ID and all those who will sail on the boat.

Do I have to pay any extra besides the yacht charter?

It will be mandatory to leave a €300 deposit for the yacht on the same day of the activity. It can be paid in cash or by card and will be returned in the same way once the service is finished. In addition, an extra €30 must be paid to cover the costs of cleaning the yacht.

Who sails the yacht?

How many people can go on the yacht can minors board the boat, should i wear a life jacket on the yacht, what activities can i do while we sail, can i cancel or modify my yacht charter reservation, is the activity canceled due to bad weather.

“I have nothing against tourism, but here in Barcelona we are suffering from an excess of tourism that has made our city unlivable,” one protester said, according to CBS News.

Last year, more than 12 million people visited Barcelona, the outlet said, citing local data. This year, from January through May, more than 33 million people have visited Spain as a whole, up 13.6 percent compared with the same period last year, according to numbers from the country’s national statistics office. In part thanks to increased tourism, housing costs have risen 68 percent in Barcelona over the past decade, CBS News wrote.

“The last years, the city has turned completely for tourists, and what we want is a city for citizens and not in service of tourists,” one of the protesters said over the weekend.

These sorts of demonstrations have been taking place all over Spain, which has become a tourist hot spot of late. Last month, 15,000 people protested against over-tourism in Málaga, while more than 10,000 people in Palma de Mallorca took to the streets in May.

And Spain isn’t the only country trying to figure out how to rein in tourism: Venice, Italy, is now charging a fee for day-trippers, and locals there have been vocal about how the city has changed due to the increased number of visitors. Amsterdam, meanwhile, is banning new hotels from being built in the city to cut down congestion and improve livability.
