The 70m/229'8" 'Force Blue' expedition yacht built by the Danish shipyard Royal Denship is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Italian designer Laura Sessa Romboli.

For adventures off the beaten track, Expedition yacht Force Blue has all the bells and whistles, designed to offer a sublime combination of luxury and convivial spaces that serve to welcome you from the moment you step onboard. She is equipped with a dancefloor, wheelchair accessibility, movie theatre, spa, elevator and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2002, Force Blue offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, three double cabins and one twin cabin. There are 7 beds in total, including 2 king, 3 queen and 2 singles. A crew of twenty-one, who specialize in creating exceptional charters, are on hand to provide guests with a yacht charter vacation to remember.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a dancefloor where you and your guests can celebrate in style. The yacht's library is a beautiful addition to her range of leisure facilities, and acts as a lovely spot for relaxing or browsing. Elsewhere she boasts a movie theatre, perfect to relax after a long day on the water. The steam room is great for your skin and a perfect place to unwind or elsewhere, revive yourself after an intense workout in the sauna. Take the opportunity to be thoroughly pampered and indulged in the spa or a gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably wheelchair-friendly access, making this vessel suitable for all guests. Travelling from deck to deck is quick, easy and accessible with the on-board elevator or elsewhere, satellite communication systems keep you in touch wherever you voyage. With Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to or guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 11,456 nautical miles from her 170,400 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway.

Equipped with an extensive selection of action-packed water toys Force Blue lets you and your guests turn the Mediterranean into your own private playground. Guests can feel the wind in their hair and jump the waves on one of the three SeaDoo GTI SE 170 OC 20 Int WaveRunners. Another excellent feature are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Also there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Force Blue also features scuba diving equipment, a seabob, wakeboards, beach games and paddleboards. When it comes to Tenders, Force Blue has you covered - with three tenders, including a 8.5m/27'11" Bat Tender.

FORCE BLUE yacht is Bernie Eccelstone’s $20 Million superyacht. The striking yacht was delivered in 2002 from the Danish shipyard, Royal Denship, and features interior design from Rune Design, Laura Sessa Romboli, and Celeste Dell`Anna.

The sticking exterior of the yacht was developed by Tom Fexas Yacht Design and Ole Steen Knudsen.

The vessel is perfectly designed for entertainment on the water, with plenty of family-friendly spaces for a true superyacht lifestyle experience.

The interior of the FORCE BLUE yacht features magnificent designs from Rune Design, Laura Sessa Romboli , and Celeste Dell`Anna .

The vessel has accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins one VIP cabin, three double cabins, and one twin cabin.

There are crew accommodations for 17 crew members. The superyacht is packed with luxury features, from a well-appointed library that offers a relaxing spot, the movie theatre to wind down after a long day, or the dance floor where guests can dance the night away.

The extravagance continues in a full spa with a sauna and a dip in the jacuzzi. The spa includes a hammam, mud bath, and sauna pool.

The exterior of the FORCE BLUE yacht was designed by Tom Fexas Yacht Design and Ole Steen Knudsen .

She features a royal blue steel hull in a white aluminum superstructure. Her hull is a full displacement hull, making her more stable while at anchor.

She was first built in 2002 by the Danish shipyard, Royal Denship. She later went through a refit at the beginning of 2022.

She was built as a part of Royal Densip’s expedition series, which include the yachts, TURMOIL, and BIG ARON. The shape of the yacht is a trawler expedition-style for adventure purposes.

FORCE BLUE yacht specifications

The FORCE BLUE yacht has a length of 63.3m, a beam of 11.38m, and a draft of 2.95m. She has a displacement of 1325 gross tons and is fitted with twin Caterpillar engines .

She comfortably cruises at 14 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots.

She has a range of up to 8000 nautical miles. She features an onboard stabilization system that ensures comfort for guests while at sea.

Flavio Briatore’s Force Blue superyacht ends up at auction

Seized in 2010 for tax evasion, Briatore’s Force Blue superyacht will be auctioned in late January

, between the search for a new owner and the announcement of a final verdict that has been awaited for over a decade.

Actually, the legal issues related to Flavio Briatore ‘s superyacht , seized in 2010 off the coast of La Spezia, seemed to be resolved with the limitation on appeal. The boat, however, has remained in the care of the judicial guardian and will be put up for sale on January 27th , before the Supreme Court expresses itself in this regard: the hearing is set for February 12th.

The reasons why the Force Blue will be auctioned (the auction is authorized by the Appeal Court of Genoa) would be represented by the potential loss of the superyacht overall value and the management of maintenance costs, deemed too high by the keeper. A difficulty that would have worsened last year due to the lockdown, which inevitably interrupted the charter activities, however authorized on board the Force Blue since May 2010, when the Italian Financial Police seized the boat in the waters of La Spezia.

Flavio Briatore’s Force Blue superyacht ends up at auction: confiscation, restitution or compensation?

The boat, built by Royal Denship in 2002, is 62 meters long, has three decks and weighs 1,325 tons . It is owned by Briatore’s Autumn Sailing society and is one among the 100 largest superyachts in the world, as well as one among the most famous boats belonging to VIPs.

What is striking is the fact that the sale will take place two weeks before the final decision by the Supreme Court, which could return the pleasure boat to the Italian businessman or confirm the seizure. if the boat has already passed into the hands of the new owner, Briatore would only be entitled to a cash compensation . We’ll see. What is certain is that the long journey of the Force Blue is now coming to an end.

• L'utente all'atto della registrazione si impegna: a) a fornire dati e informazioni veritiere, accurate, aggiornate e complete; b) a mantenere e aggiornare i dati di registrazione in modo che gli stessi siano sempre veritieri, accurati, aggiornati e completi.
• L'Utente è il solo ed unico responsabile della conservazione, della riservatezza e dell'utilizzo del proprio nome utente e della propria password e, conseguentemente, rimane il solo ed unico responsabile per tutti gli usi propri e/o impropri che potranno esserne fatti.
• L'assenza di segnalazione e successiva disabilitazione determinerà responsabilità diretta ed esclusiva dell'Utente per tutti gli usi e/o abusi del suo nome utente e e/o della sua password. 1.9 L'Utente potrà chiedere in qualsiasi momento la cancellazione della propria registrazione e dei propri dati inviando una comunicazione a RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. al seguente indirizzo di posta elettronica: [email protected]. Il presente accordo immediatamente dopo la ricezione della richiesta di risoluzione del presente accordo e nome Utente e password saranno cancellate. 1.10 Resta inteso che RCS MediaGroup S.p.A non sarà in alcun caso e per alcun motivo considerati responsabili nei confronti dell'Utente ovvero di terzi per la avvenuta modifica, sospensione, interruzione e/o cessazione dei servizi.
• RCS MediaGroup S.p.A offre a ciascun Utente la possibilità di accedere ai Servizi Ugc . I servizi offerti agli utenti sono i seguenti: a) commenta l’articolo b) commenta nei blog c) partecipa ai concorsi d) qualsiasi altro servizio che richieda l’invio di testi, fotografie, filmati da parte dell’Utente
• Gli Utenti sono consapevoli che tutte le spese relative alle apparecchiature e ai programmi software necessari per attivare e stabilire il collegamento ai Siti e tutti i costi relativi alla connessione alla rete sono di loro propria esclusiva competenza.
• In nessun caso RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. potrà essere ritenute responsabili del mancato o inesatto adempimento da parte dell'Utente di ogni eventuale procedura di legge o di regolamento in relazione all'Accordo.
• Partecipazione ai concorsi : con la registrazione al Sito l’Utente avrà la possibilità di partecipare ai concorsi e/o alle iniziative promozionali indetti sul Sito. Al fine della partecipazione a dette iniziative l’Utente: a) dichiara di essere maggiorenne; b) si impegna al rispetto del regolamento e delle modalità di svolgimento del concorso e/o dell’iniziativa interessata che saranno accettate espressamente tramite specifico form; c) per tutto quanto non disciplinato dal presente articolo si applicheranno i termini e condizioni generali di servizio di cui al presente accordo.
• È vietato prendere qualsiasi tipo di iniziativa (proteste contro gli Editori o gli organi di stampa, organizzazione di petizioni, creazione di nuovi siti o forum, etc.) senza l'autorizzazione dell'amministrazione di RCS MediaGroup S.p.A.
• È vietato pubblicare: a. Links a siti/forum/chat/blog concorrenti dei Siti b. Indirizzi e-mail privati c. Numeri di telefono o indirizzi privati
• Ciascun Utente si impegna espressamente a non inviare messaggi il cui contenuto possa essere considerato diffamatorio, ingiurioso, osceno, offensivo dello spirito religioso, lesivo della privacy delle persone, o comunque illecito, nel rispetto della legge italiana e delle leggi internazionali.
• Sono espressamente vietati commenti aventi come contenuto: a. Offese alle istituzioni o alla religione di qualunque fede. Devono essere evitati commenti in chiave sarcastica, sbeffeggiatoria, sacrilega e denigratoria. b. Razzismo ed ogni apologia dell'inferiorità o superiorità di una razza, popolo o cultura rispetto alle altre. c. Incitamento alla violenza e alla commissione di reati. d. Materiale pornografico e link a siti vietati ai minori di 18 anni e. Messaggi di propaganda politica, di partito o di fazione. Quindi non sono ammessi messaggi che contengano idee o affermazioni chiaramente riferite ad ideologie politiche. f. Contenuti contrari a norme imperative all'ordine pubblico e al buon costume. g. Messaggi commerciali e attività di lucro quali scommesse, concorsi, aste, transazioni economiche. h. Affermazioni su persone non provate e/o non provabili e pertanto inattendibili i. Materiale coperto da copyright che viola le leggi sul diritto d'autore j. Messaggi pubblicitari, promozionali, catene di S.Antonio e segnalazioni di indirizzi di siti Internet, non inerenti ad argomenti trattati k. In generale, tutto ciò che va sotto la definizione di "spamming".
• Nel caso vengano riportati brani prelevati da siti ufficiali di informazione, quotidiani, giornali, riviste è obbligatorio citarne la fonte, sempre a patto che non vengano violate le norme sul copyright
• Non è consentito: a. Inviare messaggi che contengano insulti, offese, sia tra utenti registrati al servizio che verso altri soggetti b. Avere atteggiamenti e/o posizione di contestazione, palesemente ostili nei confronti dei moderatori e dell'amministrazione della servizio. A questo proposito si fa presente che le decisioni dei moderatori non sono oggetto di discussione ed eventuali lamentele, critiche e chiarimenti riguardo l'attività di moderazione devono essere presentati in forma privata scrivendo all'indirizzo [email protected]. c. Trattare argomenti ritenuti non idonei allo spirito del servizio, contrari al buon gusto o comunque in grado di offendere la sensibilità degli altri utenti d. Richiedere informazioni a fini commerciali
• Le violazioni di queste norme comporteranno la non approvazione o la rimozione dei commenti inviati dagli utenti
• In presenza di comportamenti gravi o comunque recidivi, la violazione di queste norme potrà comportare la sospensione a tempo o la cancellazione dell'Utente responsabile. L'Utente che, più volte cancella, continui a riscriversi col solo scopo di turbare il regolare svolgimento delle attività verrà segnalato alle competenti autorità.
• Si precisa, inoltre, che: a. RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. non può in alcun modo essere ritenuto responsabile per il contenuto dei messaggi inviati dagli utenti e si riserva il diritto di cancellare qualsiasi messaggio o contenuto sia ritenuto inopportuno o non conforme allo spirito del servizio senza tuttavia assumere alcun obbligo al riguardo. b. Ciascun partecipante si assume la piena responsabilità penale e civile derivante dal contenuto illecito dei propri messaggi e da ogni danno che possa essere lamentato da terzi in relazione alla pubblicazione degli stessi.
• RCS MediaGroup. S.p.A. si riserva anche il diritto di rivelare i dati dell'autore di un messaggio in suo possesso in caso di richiesta da parte delle autorità competenti.
• Questo regolamento potrà essere modificato in qualsiasi momento e senza preavviso, l'Utente è pertanto tenuto a consultarlo periodicamente per verificare la presenza di eventuali aggiornamenti. È in ogni caso esclusa qualsivoglia responsabilità della Società nei confronti dell'Utente relativamente a modifiche delle condizioni e termini di utilizzo e/o fruizione dei servizi.
• RCS MediaGroup. S.p.A. si riserva il diritto di disabilitare l'Utente alla funzione di partecipazione ai servizi ugc, con conseguente cancellazione dell'account dell'Utente, qualora venisse a conoscenza ovvero determinasse, a suo esclusivo insindacabile giudizio, che l'Utente abbia ovvero stia violando le prescrizioni di cui al presente Accordo, nonchè la normativa vigente.
• RCS MediaGroup. S.p.A. fa affidamento nel buon senso degli utenti al fine di mantenere i servizi uno spazio civile e gradevole di incontro, anche al fine di limitare al minimo l'attività di moderazione.
• RCS MediaGroup. S.p.A. invita i nuovi Utenti a visitare il Sito prima di iniziare a inviare contributi al fine di capire l'ambiente ed al fine di rapportarsi con i Servizi Ugc nella maniera migliore.
• l'Utente è invitato a verificare sempre quello che invia e ad assicurarsi che sia quanto inviato sia conforme al regolamento dei Servizi Ugc.
• l'Utente è invitato a scrivere un messaggio chiaro e con un titolo adeguato.
• Gli Utenti sono invitati a non intraprendere lunghi botta e risposta con altri Utenti, soprattutto se si tratta di questioni personali con altri utenti.
• L'Utente è invitato a non scrivere in maiuscolo dove non necessario (significa che stai urlando).
• L'Utente è invitato a non usare titoli troppo lunghi, creano solo confusione.
• L'Utente che invia un contributo rivolto esclusivamente ad un altro utente ricordi sempre che i servizi del Sito sono pubblici e che quindi il contributo inviato verrà letto da tutti.
• RCS MediaGroup. S.p.A. invita al rispetto degli altri utenti, soprattutto quelli che hanno idee diverse da chi scrive.
• RCS MediaGroup. S.p.A. si riserva la facoltà di moderare i contenuti degli Utenti in tutti i loro elementi prima della pubblicazione. Nel dettaglio, potranno essere oggetto di moderazione: PROFILO PERSONALE: Nick name - Descrizione/Frase COMMENTI: Titolo – Contenuto
• L'attività di moderazione verrà effettuata tramite un Amministratore e dei Moderatori. È facoltà dell'Amministratore: a. approvare/non approvare i singoli commenti inviati dai lettori b. cancellare i singoli commenti, messaggi c. sospendere o cancellare un Utente d. modificare le condizioni o il funzionamento dei servizi. È facoltà del moderatore: a. approvare/non approvare i singoli commenti inviati dai lettori b. cancellare i singoli commenti, messaggi c. sospendere o cancellare un Utente d. modificare le condizioni o il funzionamento dei servizi. I moderatori vengono nominati e destituiti esclusivamente dall'amministratore. L'utente concorda che l'amministratore e i moderatori dei servizi hanno il diritto al loro operato in modo insindacabile e qualora lo ritengano necessario. L'amministratore e i moderatori faranno il possibile per rimuovere il materiale contestabile il più velocemente possibile, confidando nella collaborazione degli utenti.
• Modificazione dei contenuti. I moderatori hanno la facoltà di modificare, nel caso lo ritengano opportuno, la classificazione dei contenuti qualora i tag segnalati dagli utenti vengano ritenuti scorretti oppure al fine di dare una più precisa connotazione editoriale del contenuto all'interno del Sito.
• Accettazione/rifiuto/eliminazione dei contenuti. Verranno accettati solo contenuti che risultino idonei alla linea editoriale del Sito. Saranno invece rifiutati i contenuti non in linea con le linee guida esposte all'interno del regolamento. Se ci fossero commenti agli articoli o contributi che dovessero degenerare (anche con un solo contenuto) è data ampia facoltà ai moderatori di intervenire nei modi ritenuti più opportuni, anche con la rimozione immediata del contenuto o, nei casi più gravi, con la cancellazione immediata da parte dell'amministratore.
• L'operato dei moderatori può essere giudicato solo dall'amministratore, è comunque permesso chiedere spiegazioni, non utilizzando però lo spazio pubblico dei servizi del Sito. Eventuali contestazioni vanno effettuate tramite e-mail da indirizzare al seguente indirizzo [email protected]. Verrà immediatamente chiuso commento o contributo avente come oggetto argomenti di contestazione in chiave polemica. Chi dovesse insistere in simile atteggiamento, verrà immediatamente allontanato dai servizi secondo l'insindacabile giudizio dell'amministratore
• È possibile che alcuni messaggi non conformi al regolamento non vengano rimossi per disattenzione degli amministratori o dei moderatori o per loro precisa scelta. Gli utenti sono comunque invitati a segnalare all'amministrazione tali messaggi, scrivendo all'indirizzo [email protected]. In ogni caso il fatto che, a volte, un messaggio non conforme non venga rimosso non dà diritto a nessun utente di contestare la decisione dell'amministrazione in caso di cancellazione di un messaggio.
• L'Utente cede e trasferisce a RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. in via definitiva e a titolo gratuito, la titolarità di tutti i diritti di sfruttamento economico e commerciale relativi ai contenuti trasmessi, per l'Italia e per tutto il mondo.
• RCS MediaGroup S.p.A ha libera facoltà, ma non l’obbligo, di riprodurre, con qualsiasi scopo e finalità, con qualsiasi procedimento, comunicare, trasmettere e/o diffondere la fissazione dei contenuti trasmesso, in tutto o in parte, attraverso Internet e/o attraverso qualunque rete di comunicazione elettronica e/o con qualsiasi mezzo e sistema di diffusione a distanza attualmente conosciuto (quali a mero titolo esemplificativo Wap, UMTS, IPTV, DSL, ecc.) o inventato in futuro attraverso cui possono essere veicolati i siti internet, utilizzando qualsiasi protocollo di comunicazione e/o formato di compressione audio e/o video attualmente conosciuto (MP3, Podcast, WMA, MPEG, AVI, JPEG etc.) o di futura invenzione e per qualsiasi modalità di fruizione attualmente conosciuta (quali a titolo esemplificativo streaming, downloading, Video on Demand, Podcast ecc.) o di futura invenzione.
• RCS MediaGroup S.p.A ha libera facoltà di far uso dei contenuti trasmessi, di trasformarli, di apportare agli stessi tagli, modifiche e/o aggiunte, di inserire o sostituire un commento parlato e/o la colonna sonora e/o di utilizzarne estratti.
• L'Utente dichiara e garantisce che in relazione ai contenuti trasmessi: a) ha pieno titolo e legittimazione per concedere tali diritti a RCS MediaGroup S.p.A b) non ha concesso a terzi diritti confliggenti e/o in contrasto con i diritti di cui alla presente; c) ha ottenuto tutte le irrevocabili, autorizzazioni da parte degli eventuali coautori dei contenuti trasmessi, nonchè, le irrevocabili autorizzazioni (dotate delle predette caratteristiche) da parte degli eventuali artisti e/o interpreti esecutori.
• RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. non presta alcun tipo di garanzia in merito al fatto che i servizi ugc corrispondano ai requisiti propri e/o alle aspettative dell'Utente.
• L'Utente riconosce che l'accesso ai servizi ugc dei Siti, la conservazione, pubblicazione e diffusione dei contenuti inviati è fatta a proprio rischio esclusivo.
• RCS MediaGroup S.p.A., inoltre, non presta alcuna garanzia nei confronti dell'Utente in merito ai risultati che possono essere ottenuti con l'uso dei servizi ugc, ovvero in merito alla veridicità e/o affidabilità di ogni informazione, dato o notizia ottenuta dall'Utente per il tramite dei servizi ugc.
• L'Utente prende atto ed accetta che RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. non potrà in alcun caso considerarsi responsabile per qualsiasi tipo di danno, diretto o indiretto, derivante all'Utente ovvero a terzi: a) dall'uso o dalla impossibilità di utilizzare i servizi ugc; b) dalla eventuale modifica, sospensione ovvero interruzione dei servizi ugc; c) da messaggi ricevuti o transazioni eseguite da RCS MediaGroup S.p.A o per loro tramite; d) da accesso non autorizzato ovvero da alterazione di trasmissioni e/o dati dell'Utente, ivi incluso tra l'altro l'eventuale danno, anche economico, dallo stesso Utente eventualmente subito per mancato profitto, uso, perdita di dati o di altri elementi intangibili.
• L'Utente, ferma restando ogni altra previsione di cui al presente Accordo, riconosce e dichiara espressamente che: a) l'uso ed utilizzo dei servizi ugc dei Siti è a proprio ed esclusivo rischio e viene fornito da RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. sul presupposto di un'assunzione esclusiva e totale di responsabilità in capo ed a carico dell'Utente; b) RCS MediaGroup S.p.A è esonerato da ogni tipo di responsabilità e garanzia, espressa o implicita, inclusa la garanzia sulla continuità, qualità o quantità dei servizi, c) ogni materiale scaricato o altrimenti ottenuto attraverso l'uso dei servizi verrà effettuato a scelta e a rischio dell'Utente e pertanto ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni a sistemi di computer o perdite di dati risultanti dalle operazioni di caricamento e/o scaricamento di materiale ricadrà sull'Utente; d) RCS MediaGroup S.p.A non assume alcuna responsabilità per eventuali danni, perdite di dati, informazioni, danni per ritardo o perdita di chance, inesatto o mancato reperimento di informazioni, restrizioni o perdite di accessi, difficoltà o problemi di ogni tipo, errori, uso non autorizzato durante l'accesso ai servizi ugc ovvero relativamente alle altre forme di interazione all'interno dei servizi. L'Utente è e sarà, inoltre, unico e diretto responsabile per il mantenimento e il salvataggio di dati ed informazioni contenuti nei servizi ugc.
• RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. tratterà tutti i dati personali forniti dagli Utenti al momento della registrazione nel pieno rispetto delle disposizioni contenute nel d.lgs. 30 giugno 2003, n. 196 (recante il "Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali"), secondo le modalità e per le finalità indicate nella informativa fornita all'Utente ex art. 13 del Codice quale apposta in calce al presente contratto.
• Con la presa visione dell'informativa di cui all'art. 13 del D.lgs. 196/2003 e con la sottoscrizione del presente contratto l'Utente manifesta il proprio espresso consenso al trattamento e alla comunicazione dei dati che la riguardano con le modalità descritte nella predetta informativa, manlevando l'altra parte da qualsivoglia responsabilità civile, penale o amministrativa per danni che dovesse risentire in conseguenza, occasione ovvero connessione con detti trattamenti, impegnandosi verso detta parte a comunicare senza ritardo ogni modifica dei dati fornitile, mediante raccomandata con avviso di ricevimento indirizzata alla persona alla cui attenzione le comunicazioni vanno indirizzate ai sensi della predetta normativa.
• Il presente accordo è regolato dalle legge italiana.
• Per tutte le controversie che dovessero insorgere in relazione all'esecuzione o interpretazione del presente accordo sarà competente in via esclusiva il Foro di Milano.

Flavio Briatore, l’incredibile storia dello yacht Force Blue: l’accusa di evasione fiscale, il sequestro, la svendita per 7 milioni (ne valeva 20) e ora… l’assoluzione definitiva

Il processo è durato 12 anni e si è risolto in una bolla di sapone. ma l’imbarcazione al centro del contendere… ha preso il largo. e ora.

Flavio Briatore è stato assolto dall’accusa di evasione fiscale. Al centro della vicenda c’era l’attività di charter del suo yacht Force Blue. Incubo finito, dunque? Per nulla, dato che l’imprenditore è stato vittima di una vera e propria beffa: l’imbarcazione era stata confiscata nell’indagine, messa all’asta e svenduta per sette milioni, a fronte di un valore di 20. Ad aggiudicarsela fu l’ex patron della Formula 1 Bernie Ecclestone. E Briatore si sfoga: “Mi chiedo che giustizia sia, se un procedimento dura tutto questo tempo”  –  FOTO ESCLUSIVE  |  VIDEO

LA SENTENZA - A mettere la parola fine ad un procedimento che va avanti da qualcosa come dodici anni, è la corte d’appello di Genova, che ha assolto Briatore e altre tre persone “perché il fatto non costituisce reato”. L’imprenditore si trovava a processo con l’accusa di un’evasione fiscale di oltre 3 milioni sull’Iva e per l’attività di charter. Una causa da giustizia lumaca, che già nel 2021 lo aveva visto vincere due volte in Cassazione. Per mettere fine alla questione i giudici genovesi avrebbero dovuto decidere della confisca dello yacht, avvenuta nel 2010 al largo di La Spezia, mentre il manager era a bordo con Elisabetta Gregoraci e il figlio. E hanno revocato la confisca. Peccato che sia ormai tardi: da tempo, infatti, lo yacht è finito all’asta, nonostante mancasse una sentenza definitiva.

LO SFOGO - Già all’indomani della decisione della Suprema Corte, Briatore si era sfogato: “Abbiamo presentato tre istanze affinché aspettassero la Cassazione e non facessero l’asta in pieno Covid, con gli acquirenti che neanche potevano andare a vederla. Qual era la fretta di darla via? È uno yacht, non un cargo di banane che vanno a male. L’Autumn Sailing, la società armatrice, ha pure versato i soldi che servivano per la manutenzione e per tenerla in porto, ma non li hanno voluti. Risultato: l’hanno svenduta a sette milioni. Riavere la barca è impossibile. E i danni morali che ho subito sono incalcolabili: da undici anni, tutti mi danno dell’evasore fiscale, pure in tv. Consideri che sono schedato nella World Check: non posso avere un mutuo, un prestito, niente. Se per lavorare non avessi avuto capitali miei, sarei fallito”. All’asta lo yacht fu aggiudicato a Bernie Ecclestone, che spese 7 milioni al posto di 20, ovvero il valore stimato del Force Blue. E ora, chi ripagherà il titolare del Billionaire?

QUANTA RABBIA - Briatore esprime ovviamente soddisfazione per l’assoluzione, ma affida al Messaggero il suo sfogo: “Mi chiedo però che giustizia sia, se un procedimento dura tutto questo tempo. Fa sprofondare una persona innocente in una vita da incubo. Questa storia è stata una persecuzione. Sicuramente è stato anche un processo al personaggio, questo è pacifico. Se non hai le spalle larghe, una giustizia cosi ti fa fallire”. E ricorda il giorno del sequestro: “È stato un arrembaggio, al largo di La Spezia sono arrivate le motovedette, sembrava avessero scoperto il covo di Totò Riina. A bordo c’erano mia moglie Elisabetta Gregoraci con nostro figlio Nathan Falco, che aveva solo due mesi, per lei è stato un trauma”.

Non ci sarà alcun " rimborso" per lo yacht Force Blue di Flavio Briatore, sequestrato dalla Procura di Genova nell'ambito della lunghissima battaglia giudiziaria finita nel gennaio del 2022 con l'assoluzione dell'imprenditore, accusato insieme ad altri di aver evaso il fisco. Lo ha deciso la Corte di Cassazione. A darne notizia è l'edizione locale di Repubblica.     La lussuosa imbarcazione era stata venduta dal custode giudiziale nominato dal tribunale per meno di 7 milioni di euro (all'amico Bernie Ecclestone, peraltro) quando ancora i conti fra primo grado, appello e appunto Cassazione non erano chiusi- scrive Repubblica-. E Briatore era ancora un imputato in attesa di sentenza definitiva. Ma secondo una consulenza tecnica il Force Blue al momento del sequestro, datato 2010, valeva 19 milioni. Da qui la richiesta alla Corte di Appello di Genova di ottenere la differenza fra quanto incassato e quanto stimato.     Già i giudici liguri avevano detto no. Ora quello della Cassazione, che dopo 13 anni chiude l'ultimo capitolo della vicenda penale. Anche se nella sentenza, al di là dei passaggi più tecnici, si "suggerisce" come la società di Briatore Autumn Sailing "potrà considerare l'eventualità di esperire altri rimedi in sede giurisdizionale ... per rendere effettivo il diritto costituzionalmente garantito del diritto di difesa e della tutela della proprietà privata nel caso di riparazione di eventuale errore giudiziario".     L'imprenditore era a processo perché accusato di evasione fiscale di oltre 3 milioni sull'Iva e per l'attività di charter.     Il maxi yacht era stato sequestrato nel 2010, al largo della Spezia, mentre il manager era a bordo con Elisabetta Gregoraci e il figlio. Dopo l'assoluzione aveva detto: "La verità è che se un processo del genere dura 12 anni nessun investitore porterà dei soldi in Italia. Non esiste restare sulla graticola per così tanto tempo, ti rovinano il business, la reputazione. Andate su Google e vedete cosa viene fuori, evasore fiscale, truffatore, eccetera eccetera. Pensate che tutto questo aiuti con le banche, quando si tratta di fare investimenti?" ".

FORCE BLUE Motor yacht for sale

The 70.6m (231.4ft) FORCE BLUE is a commercially registered all-steel explorer yacht built to RINA classification delivered in 2002 by Danish shipyard Royal Denship.

Last refitted in 2022, this 1,325GT expedition yacht, which has exterior design by H2 Yacht Design and interiors by Michele Bonan. Guest spaces feature spacious lounges, expansive deck spaces and impressive entertainment areas including a cinema and a very large bridge deck bar, BBQ and dining area that converts into a disco.

She accommodates up to 12 guests in six spacious suites. These include an owner’s suite on a dedicated owner’s deck as well as a full-beam VIP suite on the lower deck. An elevator serves all guest decks for multi-generational access and the foredeck is home to three 8-9m (26.2-29.5ft) tenders and assorted watertoys. FORCE BLUE’s extensive wellbeing facilities include a lower deck spa, sauna, massage room and beauty salon and a well-equipped gym, as well as a sun deck jacuzzi.

Main, owner’s and bridge decks all have walkaround sidedecks to help guests appreciate their surroundings. Inside on the main deck there is a saloon, a less formal lounge area and a separate formal dining room, with a large open-air lounge on the main deck aft. The owner’s lounge has wonderful views through full-height windows, three separate seating areas ad a private terrace with banquette seating.

Twin 1,850hp Caterpillar engines give her a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a remarkable range of 8,000nm.

FORCE BLUE is a 70.0 m Motor Yacht, built in Denmark by Royal Denship and delivered in 2002.

Her top speed is 18.0 kn, her cruising speed is 14.0 kn, and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 8000.0 nm at 12.0 kn, with power coming from two Caterpillar diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, with 21 crew members. She has a gross tonnage of 1325.0 GT and a 11.4 m beam.

She was designed by H2 Yacht Design (26 other superyachts designed) and Tom Fexas (57 other superyachts designed).

The naval architecture was developed by Ole Steen Knudsen , and the interior of the yacht was designed by Ole Rune Design (3 other superyacht interiors designed), Christensen & Rottbell , Celeste Dell'Anna (7 other superyacht interiors designed) and Michele Bönan Interiors - she is built with a Steel and Teak deck, a Steel hull, and Aluminium superstructure.

FORCE BLUE underwent a full-scale rebuild at Lusben that finished in 2022.

FORCE BLUE is in the top 5% by LOA in the world. She is one of 116 motor yachts in the 70-80m size range, and, compared to similarly sized motor yachts, her top speed is 0.16 kn above the average.

FORCE BLUE is currently sailing under the Malta flag, the 3rd most popular flag state for superyachts with a total of 1073 yachts registered. Former Formula 1 patron Bernie Ecclestone bought Flavio Briatore’s yacht

The story involved two of the most famous names in Formula 1 .

Bernie Ecclestone, for decades at the head of the direction of this sport, seems to have recently bought the Force Blue mega yacht at the auction, previously owned by the famous businessman and former Formula 1 team manager Flavio Briatore.

The background

The story originated in May 2010 when the Italian finance police seized the yacht, owned by Briatore since 2002, while it was in the waters of the Italian city of La Spezia. Onboard, in addition to the crew, were also the showgirl Elisabetta Gregoraci, today the entrepreneur’s ex-wife, and her son Nathan Falco.

The accusation made by the investigators was clear right away. The entrepreneur was accused of having simulated a commercial activity of chartering his luxurious boat in the period 2006 – 2010. This would have allowed him to use the Force Blue, formally owned by the company Autumn Sailing Limited, for recreational use in Italian territorial waters, avoiding him to pay the due import VAT, equal to approximately 3.5 million euros.

Furthermore, again according to the prosecution, the yacht’s fuel was indicated as exempt from excise duties while it had to be burdened by ordinary taxes.

The first instance trial against Flavio Briatore ended in 2015, with a suspended sentence of 1 year and 11 months in prison for tax crimes related to the charter of the Force Blue yacht.

After various judicial vicissitudes that saw Briatore first convicted and then partially acquitted by misdemeanor prescription, the current situation sees a new trial that has reached the last level of judgment.

Why the auction of the yacht?

It was auctioned on January 27, 2021, at one-third of the market value. This is the fate to which the judges of the court of Genoa condemned the yacht Force Blue. The Flavio Briatore luxurious floating villa was seized in 2010 for the alleged evasion of 3.6 million VAT on imports.

The yacht was awarded to the highest bidder on an auction basis of 7 million euros, which is less than half of the 20 million estimated value at the time of the seizure. On the evaluation weighted the serious degradation conditions in which the Force Blue finds itself after a decade of forced inactivity, interrupted only occasionally for rental in the summer season.

This last solution was necessary to contain management costs which, however, did not avoid the accumulation of debts by the State, which therefore opted to sell the yacht at the preventive auction without waiting for the end of the Briatore’s process.

The latter had tried to block, through his lawyers, the sale by presenting four instances which, however, were vain.

What kind of boat are we talking about?

Force Blue is a superyacht over 63 meters long, almost 12 meters wide, and with a gross tonnage of over 1,325 tons. It was built and launched in 2002 by the Royal Denship, a Danish construction house that is no longer in business.

It is propelled by two 2000 horsepower engines and reaches a top speed of 17 knots. The cruising one stops at 14.

Comfort is ensured by the presence of an onboard crew that can reach up to 17 people.

It was enough for the British tycoon to offer € 490,000 more than the seven million auction base to get the boat.

In addition to the 90-year-old Bernard Ecclestone, the other competitors were all companies: Lethora Holdings Ltd based in the Virgin Islands , Sulfur Ltd based in the Bahamas , and Locamar Sa based in Luxembourg.

All offers in a sealed envelope were delivered to the notary Ugo Bechini who opened each one on the morning of January 27th, at the Hotel Bristol, a very central Genoese hotel.

Future developments

Is it all finally over? Absolutely not! In fact, as we said earlier, the process that sees the ownership of Force Blue as a dispute is not concluded.

Paradoxically, with a reversal of the sentence, Flavio Briatore could still return to being his legitimate owner, canceling the auction with which Ecclestone won the yacht.

We just have to wait until the next 9 of June to know the final sentence.
