KHALILAH’s playful, eclectic interiors beautifully complement her sporty exterior lines. The main salon delivers a unique Buddha bar for cocktail hour and sumptuous deep cushioned sofas overlooked by a purple glass octopus chandelier. The guest cabins, including a comfortable double and two twin cabins—one with a Pullman bunk, are on the lower deck. Each has a different color scheme, highly personalized décor and colorful mosaics in the en-suite shower rooms, one depicting an underwater scene with alien creatures and a giant red octopus.

Decks on KHALILAH are equally impressive, with vast spaces for entertaining and relaxing that make the most of her impressive 36.1' beam. Her aft deck is an exceptional area for socializing with a circular table for 12, perfect for shaded alfresco dining. There’s an abundance of seating options, from sunpads overlooking the stern to sofas for morning coffee or after-dinner drinks.

When it’s time for sunbathing and soaking in the rays, the sundeck boasts stylish sun loungers, a Karelian birchwood bar and a cactus-wood dining table. Further forward is the large Jacuzzi with amazing views of the destinations ahead tucked in behind KHALILAH’s second helm for those who like to be close to the action.

The vast foredeck has even more room for relaxing and bronzing on a sea of sun pads while soaking in the scenery of KHALILAH’s glamorous Western Mediterranean cruising grounds.

KHALILAH’s inviting beach club is the jumping-off point for water sports adventures on her 22'6" ‘mini-me’ tender with the same styling as her cutting-edge mother ship. Measuring a length of 48 meters KHALILAH yacht was built by the US shipyard Palmer Johnson in 2015 and is currently available for charter.

She has space for eleven guests in five cabins and is easily recognizable due to her golden finish.

All design stages, including the interior of the KHALILAH yacht, were completed by Palmer Johnson Yachts.

There are five cabins on board that can accommodate up to eleven guests. The KHALILAH yacht has twin master suites, one VIP cabin, and one double cabin, as well as a twin and an additional Pullman berth.

Nine crew members find space in cabins below deck. The KHALILAH yacht is often described as a family-friendly yacht with a lot of features that are adjusted to children including her unusual interior design. 

In addition to her wide selection of water toys, families will appreciate the cabin layout and the onboard jacuzzi.

The beach club is perfect for a quick swim before a delicious dinner prepared by the five-star chef on board KHALILAH.

The yacht has impressive underwater lighting, wifi, and an upscale entertainment system. The interior of the KHALILAH yacht was designed to be tasteful and contemporary.

The style is somewhat eccentric in places, with colorful patterns and unusual features like a squid-shaped lamp in the main salon.

This is yet another aspect in which KHALILAH is an excellent yacht for families and not a conventional charter vessel.

Palmer Johnson gave her a unique interior to set KHALILAH apart from other superyachts and to match her already prominent exterior.

The furnishings of the yacht also have a distinct south-east Asian influence, with several buddha statues spread throughout the vessel.

Several cabins have intricate wood carvings decorating the walls, and there are traditional decorations and murals to be found onboard the luxury yacht.

Most notably, one of the bathrooms is entirely decorated with a colorful mosaic depicting cartoon-like sea animals, which is sure to be popular among children spending time aboard the KHALILAH yacht.

Other bathrooms are more minimalistic with white marble finishes and discreet mosaics of trees and other natural scenes.

Specifications

The KHALILA yacht is 48 meters (157.6 ft) long with an 11-meter (36.1 ft) beam and a 2.1-meter (6.11 ft) draft.

She is considered the world’s first all-carbon superyacht and is especially environmentally friendly with reduced emissions and exceptional fuel efficiency.

Both her hull and superstructure are built out of carbon, making her a lightweight vessel at only 485 tons.

She is powered by twin MTU engines which allow her to reach impressive speeds of up to 30 knots.

She comfortably cruises at 28 knots, making her one of the faster yachts in her size category.

Due to her highly efficient engines, she still has a range of 1,500 nautical miles and is the perfect yacht for visiting destinations in shallow waters due to her low draft.

The KHALILAH yacht is one of the most striking superyachts in the world and is guaranteed to draw attention wherever she goes with her pearlescent gold finish.

She is accompanied by a matching 6.8-meter (22 ft) gold tender, and her aerodynamic design gives her a sleek and elegant appearance.

On the aft, the yacht has a spacious swimming platform and storage area for water toys with an adjacent seating area with a beach club.

With her many floor-to-ceiling windows and large decks, KHALILAH perfectly merges indoor and outdoor living and provides guests with many choices for relaxing and enjoying the views.

One of her more unusual features is the custom extendable staircase that can be used to board guests and extend onto the water if requested as an unconventional seating area.

The exterior of the KHALILAH yacht was designed by Palmer Johnson Yachts , which is also the shipyard where the vessel was constructed. As a charter yacht, Khalilah has a fantastic selection of water toys on board to entertain her guests. There are jet skis, water skis, kayaks, paddleboards, and inflatables, all stored aft of the vessel.

The adjacent deck is exceptionally large and measures over 110 square feet giving guests plenty of space for sunbathing or exercising. 

The KHALILAH yacht has an estimated price of US $30 million. She generates annual running costs of approximately US $1 to $3 million.

Khalilah is available for charter at a weekly price of US $225,000 per week during both the winter and summer seasons. She is based in the Mediterranean and is primarily available for charter there. Kamala Harris sat down with Drew Barrymore to stump for Joe Biden -- and there were some interesting takeaways ... including how she laughs, and a new nickname.

The Veep appeared on "The Drew Barrymore Show" Monday to talk shop on politics and lots of other topics that were suitable for daytime TV -- and they had a lot of chuckles along the way ... which actually ended up becoming a subject of conversation in their chat.

Harris spoke about what it means to be the first female VP in American history -- and she says, even now, she feels she still catches flak for it ... all just because she's a woman.

An example she offered up to support this was how her laugh gets discussed by people.

Kamala acknowledges she doesn't have a demure, "ladylike" giggle when she finds something funny -- instead, she lets it all out ... just one big cackle, which is often roasted online and elsewhere. In KH's eyes, she believes that's due to straight-up sexism ... plain and simple.

At another point ... Drew dropped an interesting turn of phrase on Kamala. She said she felt the country needed a big hug ... and hoped Kamala could be America's "momala."

It was a pretty sweet moment ... but as you can imagine, the internet's having a field day.

There's been a lot of commentary about Kamala during her tenure as Vice President ... everything from her shoewear to her -- at times -- word salad responses to questions.

Bank this as yet another viral moment -- and whether it helps or hurts ... well, the jury's kinda out.

The marina between turns 6-8 provides some of the best places to watch the Miami Grand Prix

As one of the lucky few who’s been aboard more than my fair share of superyachts and walked pit lane during more than my fair share of F1 races, I can say with some confidence that few spectacles complement each other quite like Formula 1 racing and the superyacht lifestyle.

In fact, nothing is stronger than the gravitational pull of F1 that brings celebrities and royalty together with superyacht yacht owners and automotive speed freaks in Monaco, Abu Dahbi and other ultra-luxe-marina-side destinations.

But, now that the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix is celebrating it’s third year of bringing all the glamor and excitement of F1 racing to South Florida, I think Miami is the perfect American city to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix (taking place from May 3-5 around Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium) because of the unique way the city celebrates beach and yacht life, nightlife, innovative American entrepreneurship, and its diverse international community.

Entering its third year, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix continues to combine exciting and competitive racing with world class entertainers such as two-time Grammy Award winner Kaytranada who will be the podium performer for this year’s race.

In addition to the array of hospitality experiences for attendees, the Miami International Autodrome has been chosen as one of only six venues worldwide boasting an F1 sprint in 2024, guaranteeing three days of competitive Formula 1 action. And Miami is also only city in North America that will be hosting a round of the dynamic F1 Academy, the junior series created to find F1’s next female star.

But I’m most excited to watch the race from one of the yachts in the “marina” that’s been built on the inside of the track between turns six and eight. Barton and Gray Mariner’s Club, Midnight Express Boats and others will be hosting VIPs on their boats during race weekend. And after watching the racing from the Marina in 2022 and 2023, I can tell from experience, the yachts have the best “seats” in the house.
