Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht UNBRIDLED is a 116 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski and a hot tub. UNBRIDLED spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was constructed by the famous yacht builder Crescent in 1994. An elegant refit was delivered in 2015. The spacious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

UNBRIDLED is classified as a superyacht. The roomy aft deck continues to the meticulously composed main saloon. The main saloon is a comfortable space to spend time when the aft deck might not be as desirable (at port, private conversations) and enables a number of media entertainment options. 4 spacious cabins are thoughtfully spread out to allow for comfortable access and private setting.

Robert Marx - Captain Robert grew up on a farm in South African and had to learn early on how to fix things and to be innovative when you can’t find parts. After helping his dad running the farm for several years, he became a Construction and Project Manager and traveled all over the Eastern Cape of SA. Robert joined the mega yacht industry in 2006 and spent his first year in yachting as the Chief Engineer on the 164ft M/Y Chantel Ma Vie. When the opportunity arose for him to work with his wife, they joined M/Y El Jefe where he started as Mate/Engineer before becoming the Captain onboard in 2009. He has since completed a ton of successful charters as Captain and has cruised all over the Caribbean, Bahamas and up and down the US East Coast. In 2022 Robert joined M/Y Unbridled as Captain and he is ready to take guests on the adventure of a lifetime. His meticulous attitude ensures all systems are running smoothly and are well maintained for a safe and carefree vacation. His easy-going nature will make you feel comfortable from the moment you step onboard. He likes to make people laugh and keep guests active and entertained. Robert holds a 200 Ton Yacht Master Offshore Captains license and are currently busy with his OOW and 350Ton Masters. Robert is well versed in all the mechanical systems, as well as hydraulics, refrigeration and other operating systems onboard. When not navigating the crystal-clear waters off some tropical island, Robert enjoys motor sports, fishing, camping and watching documentaries. Daphne Marx - Chief Stewardess Daphne was born in South Africa’s windy city, Port Elizabeth. She always dreamed of being on big boats and wanted to explore the world. After College she started working in the construction industry as a property and project manager, but eventually the call of the ocean won and Daphne, along with her husband, decided to quit their land base jobs and started a new adventure. For the past 14+ years, she has worked on yachts ranging from 107ft to 200ft, where her calm demeanor and can-do attitude made her a favorite amongst owners, guests and crew. Professional, personable and caring best describes Daphne. With her background in Property Management and her experience in service, she has a great eye for detail and is adept at being invisible when necessary, yet appearing at just the right moment to ensure everything runs smoothly. Daphne’s passion for her job makes her the perfect hostess, always on hand to anticipate guests needs. When Daphne is not planning a theme night or making cocktails, she loves to do photography while exploring new places. She also loves camping and hiking, and to just relax with a good book or movie. Raphael RIvet - Chef Our amazing Chef Raphael hails from France. Raphael was born into a family of chefs and the love for cooking just came natural to him. Raphael is a passionate chef with over 30 years of experience, 17 of which has been in yachting. He first worked in Restaurants in Bath, in the UK, then went on to resorts in the Caribbean and the Pacific. Raphael has cruised extensively throughout the world including Africa, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Tahiti, North and South America including Alaska, to just name a few. During this time, he obtained huge amounts of knowledge of all the different cultures and foods, which enhanced his amazing culinary skills. He also did 7 transatlantic crossings onboard yachts, keeping the crew fed with healthy dishes. At the Antiqua boat show, Raph won the first-place prize at the Chef’s Competition, three years in a row. He excels in modern and classic French cuisine, fine French dining, hand-crafted breads and patisserie, Sushi, Italian, Mediterranean Seafood, and home comfort foods. Raphael is easygoing, flexible, and reliable, running the galley at a very high and professional standard. In his spare time, he loves to explore the great outdoors and loves sailing, fishing, diving, and camping. Keeping fit is important to him, so he enjoys playing tennis, hiking and trekking through the mountains. James Miller - Mate/Dive Instructor James was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. His keen interest in scuba diving led him to get certified and he soon become a dive instructor. He started his maritime career on a dive boat in the Bahamas in 2016. James’ need for knowledge quickly moved him into the engineering side of the dive boats and eventually he also attained his captain’s license. James spent five years running scuba dive charters in the Exuma islands before he made the move onto larger yachts. He cruised throughout the Caribbean and some parts of Europe, though his love of the Bahamas had him returning to the islands aboard M/Y Unbridled, where he is keen to learn more about the industry. With his sharp wit and good sense of humor, he is ready to share his knowledge of the beautiful Bahamas and its rich marine life with our guests. His years of experience managing professional diving operations, will ensure safe and memorable dive and snorkeling excursions. James is always ready to crack a joke or give a helping a hand where needed. In his downtime he likes to play guitar and watch scary movies. Vera Buck - Deck/Stew Vera was born in Belville, South Africa to German parents and grew up around the greater Cape Town area. As a child, she spent tons of time on the beach in the beautiful coastal town of Kleimond, where she loved to explore the coastline and surrounding areas. In 2015 she decided to spend some time in Germany with her family and while traveling in Southern Italy, she discovered the world of yachting. Soon she had her first job onboard and has since worked on vessels ranging from 80ft – 320ft, cruising all around the Caribbean, Bahamas, and the Mediterranean. Vera has a background in business management, entrepreneurship, and tourism. Before joining Unbridled, she decided to take a break from yachting and went back to Cape Town for a bit. There she joined a start-up company that develops small inner-city farms, where they plant crops, vegetables, and fruits, to help provide food for those less fortunate in the area. Vera is a true people’s person and with her contagious smile and bubbly personality, she helps guests to be at ease and relaxed from the moment they set foot onboard Unbridled. Her fun-loving and caring attitude is why guest and crew alike, adore her. She is passionate about the environment and nature and she loves spending time outdoors. When Vera is not working, she enjoys exploring new places, snorkeling, hiking, and camping. She also enjoys reading good books and watching a good movie.

James spent five years running scuba dive charters in the Exuma islands before he made the move onto larger yachts. He cruised throughout the Caribbean and some parts of Europe, though his love of the Bahamas had him returning to the islands aboard M/Y Unbridled, where he is keen to learn more about the industry. <br /> <br /> With his sharp wit and good sense of humor, he is ready to share his knowledge of the beautiful Bahamas and its rich marine life with our guests. His years of experience managing professional diving operations, will ensure safe and memorable dive and snorkeling excursions. James is always ready to crack a joke or give a helping a hand where needed. <br /> <br /> In his downtime he likes to play guitar and watch scary movies. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Vera Buck - Deck/Stew <br /> Vera was born in Belville, South Africa to German parents and grew up around the greater Cape Town area. As a child, she spent tons of time on the beach in the beautiful coastal town of Kleimond, where she loved to explore the coastline and surrounding areas. In 2015 she decided to spend some time in Germany with her family and while traveling in Southern Italy, she discovered the world of yachting. Soon she had her first job onboard and has since worked on vessels ranging from 80ft – 320ft, cruising all around the Caribbean, Bahamas, and the Mediterranean. <br /> <br /> Vera has a background in business management, entrepreneurship, and tourism. Before joining Unbridled, she decided to take a break from yachting and went back to Cape Town for a bit. There she joined a start-up company that develops small inner-city farms, where they plant crops, vegetables, and fruits, to help provide food for those less fortunate in the area. Vera is a true people’s person and with her contagious smile and bubbly personality, she helps guests to be at ease and relaxed from the moment they set foot onboard Unbridled. Her fun-loving and caring attitude is why guest and crew alike, adore her. She is passionate about the environment and nature and she loves spending time outdoors. <br /> <br /> When Vera is not working, she enjoys exploring new places, snorkeling, hiking, and camping. Marx - Captain<br /> Robert grew up on a farm in South African and had to learn early on how to fix things and to be innovative when you can’t find parts. After helping his dad running the farm for several years, he became a Construction and Project Manager and traveled all over the Eastern Cape of SA. <br /> <br /> Robert joined the mega yacht industry in 2006 and spent his first year in yachting as the Chief Engineer on the 164ft M/Y Chantel Ma Vie. When the opportunity arose for him to work with his wife, they joined M/Y El Jefe where he started as Mate/Engineer before becoming the Captain onboard in 2009. He has since completed a ton of successful charters as Captain and has cruised all over the Caribbean, Bahamas and up and down the US East Coast. <br /> <br /> In 2022 Robert joined M/Y Unbridled as Captain and he is ready to take guests on the adventure of a lifetime. His meticulous attitude ensures all systems are running smoothly and are well maintained for a safe and carefree vacation. His easy-going nature will make you feel comfortable from the moment you step onboard. He likes to make people laugh and keep guests active and entertained. <br /> <br /> Robert holds a 200 Ton Yacht Master Offshore Captains license and are currently busy with his OOW and 350Ton Masters. Robert is well versed in all the mechanical systems, as well as hydraulics, refrigeration and other operating systems onboard. <br /> <br /> When not navigating the crystal-clear waters off some tropical island, Robert enjoys motor sports, fishing, camping and watching documentaries. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Daphne Marx - Chief Stewardess<br /> Daphne was born in South Africa’s windy city, Port Elizabeth. She always dreamed of being on big boats and wanted to explore the world. After College she started working in the construction industry as a property and project manager, but eventually the call of the ocean won and Daphne, along with her husband, decided to quit their land base jobs and started a new adventure. <br /> <br /> For the past 14+ years, she has worked on yachts ranging from 107ft to 200ft, where her calm demeanor and can-do attitude made her a favorite amongst owners, guests and crew. Professional, personable and caring best describes Daphne. With her background in Property Management and her experience in service, she has a great eye for detail and is adept at being invisible when necessary, yet appearing at just the right moment to ensure everything runs smoothly. Daphne’s passion for her job makes her the perfect hostess, always on hand to anticipate guests needs. <br /> <br /> When Daphne is not planning a theme night or making cocktails, she loves to do photography while exploring new places. She also loves camping and hiking, and to just relax with a good book or movie. <br /> <br /> Raphael RIvet - Chef<br /> Our amazing Chef Raphael hails from France. Raphael was born into a family of chefs and the love for cooking just came natural to him. Raphael is a passionate chef with over 30 years of experience, 17 of which has been in yachting. He first worked in Restaurants in Bath, in the UK, then went on to resorts in the Caribbean and the Pacific. <br /> <br /> Raphael has cruised extensively throughout the world including Africa, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Tahiti, North and South America including Alaska, to just name a few. During this time, he obtained huge amounts of knowledge of all the different cultures and foods, which enhanced his amazing culinary skills. He also did 7 transatlantic crossings onboard yachts, keeping the crew fed with healthy dishes. At the Antiqua boat show, Raph won the first-place prize at the Chef’s Competition, three years in a row. He excels in modern and classic French cuisine, fine French dining, hand-crafted breads and patisserie, Sushi, Italian, Mediterranean Seafood, and home comfort foods. <br /> <br /> Raphael is easygoing, flexible, and reliable, running the galley at a very high and professional standard. In his spare time, he loves to explore the great outdoors and loves sailing, fishing, diving, and camping. Keeping fit is important to him, so he enjoys playing tennis, hiking and trekking through the mountains.<br /> <br /> <br /> James Miller - Mate/Dive Instructor<br /> James was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. His keen interest in scuba diving led him to get certified and he soon become a dive instructor. He started his maritime career on a dive boat in the Bahamas in 2016. <br /> <br /> James’ need for knowledge quickly moved him into the engineering side of the dive boats and eventually he also attained his captain’s license. James spent five years running scuba dive charters in the Exuma islands before he made the move onto larger yachts. He cruised throughout the Caribbean and some parts of Europe, though his love of the Bahamas had him returning to the islands aboard M/Y Unbridled, where he is keen to learn more about the industry. <br /> <br /> With his sharp wit and good sense of humor, he is ready to share his knowledge of the beautiful Bahamas and its rich marine life with our guests. His years of experience managing professional diving operations, will ensure safe and memorable dive and snorkeling excursions. James is always ready to crack a joke or give a helping a hand where needed. <br /> <br /> In his downtime he likes to play guitar and watch scary movies. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Vera Buck - Deck/Stew <br /> Vera was born in Belville, South Africa to German parents and grew up around the greater Cape Town area. As a child, she spent tons of time on the beach in the beautiful coastal town of Kleimond, where she loved to explore the coastline and surrounding areas. In 2015 she decided to spend some time in Germany with her family and while traveling in Southern Italy, she discovered the world of yachting. Soon she had her first job onboard and has since worked on vessels ranging from 80ft – 320ft, cruising all around the Caribbean, Bahamas, and the Mediterranean. <br /> <br /> Vera has a background in business management, entrepreneurship, and tourism. Before joining Unbridled, she decided to take a break from yachting and went back to Cape Town for a bit. There she joined a start-up company that develops small inner-city farms, where they plant crops, vegetables, and fruits, to help provide food for those less fortunate in the area. Vera is a true people’s person and with her contagious smile and bubbly personality, she helps guests to be at ease and relaxed from the moment they set foot onboard Unbridled. Her fun-loving and caring attitude is why guest and crew alike, adore her. She is passionate about the environment and nature and she loves spending time outdoors. <br /> <br /> When Vera is not working, she enjoys exploring new places, snorkeling, hiking, and camping. His father was an avid fisherman, so Clifford was introduced to shoreside fishing and deep sea fishing from a young age. He finished school in 1988 and then joined the South African Army for two years, becoming an Officer. At the age of 16, he joined the National Sea Rescue Institute, a volunteer organization that performs search and rescue operations along the South African coast. Captain Clifford spent 26 years with them and was a regional leader when he left the organization, training new crew and coxswains at a local and national level. Around the same time, he started sailing and doing some deliveries which introduced him to the world of yachting. <br /> <br /> He started his yachting career as a Mate on a 100-foot Hargrave and became captain of the sister ship six months later. For four years, he captained trips 40 weeks per year through the Bahamas and the Caribbean. In his last position, he was on a new San Lorenzo yacht that started in the Bahamas and then moved to the Mediterranean. As Captain of UNBRIDLED, his goal is to ensure his guests have a wonderful yet safe voyage.<br /> <br /> When not at sea, Captain Clifford enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors, camping, and touring remote places via 4x4 or motorbike. After catering for a friend who is a Captain in the industry, Vincent decided to step aside from his private catering business and enter yachting. He is extremely detail-oriented and has the capability of preparing a wide range of cuisines. He has no problem catering to any allergy or dietary requirements, and will go above and beyond to ensure every guest is looked after. He has a passion for developing new dishes and can’t wait to provide guests with a 5-star dining experience. At first, she didn’t see herself pursuing this career path but now there is nothing else she would rather be doing. Working on the ocean and learning a plethora of different skills brings so much joy and excitement for her future. Prior to entering yachting, Chelsi was a bartender, a sales representative, and an au pair in the US and Netherlands.<br /> Chelsi is known for bringing smiles, love, and good energy to the charter experience. Her goal is to become a be a well-rounded crew member that can perform in all departments. She also hopes to work her way up to a Captain's position. She is a BSc Honours graduate with a passion for the environment and the great outdoors. Terri has always been an outstanding student, winning many academic awards, particularly in mathematics and tutoring students in grades 8-12.<br /> She has a diversity of interests but especially loves the ocean and preserving our natural environment and wildlife heritage. Terri’s interest in marine wildlife is what fueled her desire to forge a career in the yachting industry. She now has experience on both motor and sailing yachts, bringing her vibrant personality to every crew she is a part of. As her career in yachting continues, Terri hopes to climb her way up to captain. Off the boat, she hopes to own her own dive center one day.<br /> Terri enjoys exploring, watching movies, and swimming in her spare time. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). We provide forms for you to complete, detailing your favorite dishes, likes and dislikes, and any special requests. You then have the opportunity to discuss and review the menu prior to your trip. Some chefs will also provide a children’s menu and will happily cater to any special dietary requirements or allergies.

The all inclusive yachts come fully stocked with a ships bar & house wines, you can also request special brands or your favorite wines (some which may be at additional cost). We assist in ensuring that the crew are well prepared and every detail is taken care of so that all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

We will provide advice and guidance on the cruising area most suited to your group,  some itineraries offer exciting blue water sailing whilst others with easy beach access and short sails are more suited to families with young children.

Once you have decided on the cruising area we will make recommendations on the best routes, must see things to do, anchorages off the beaten track or perhaps the best beach bar for sun-downers – what-ever your requirements a personal itinerary will be planned for your trip.

Once on board you will be able to discuss plans each day over breakfast – the wonderful thing about a private yacht charter is that YOU get to decide the pace of the trip and that in consultation with the Captain the itinerary is entirely flexible.

Once we know your preferred cruising area we’ll send a selection of recommended yachts - you’ll see crew details, photos, menus and full specifications, we’ll then liaise with the yacht owners to confirm costs and availability.

Some yachts will have a home base for the season, and charge delivery or re-positioning fees for charters starting outside the home port.

Her towable 32-foot Boston Whaler Outrage tender with twin 300s is perfect for diving, deep-sea fishing, exploring tiny isles and beautiful ports during your charter. Spend your day on the water kicking up the waves on two brand new Jet Skis. UNBRIDLED also offers kite boarding, snorkeling and scuba diving equipment, a fly board, paddleboard and a bevy of other top-of-the-line water toys. Master Stateroom: Located below deck amidships, accessed via the guest foyer. Full-beam with King bed. His and hers closets. Full beam bathroom with bidet and large walk-in shower. Main Salon: Open, airy and light with large windows, the main salon is accessed from the aft deck via double sliding doors. Divided into two main areas with couch seating and wet bar aft, there is a U-shaped couch with 60″ Pioneer Elite flat screen TV forward.

Captain Clifford Marlow was born in George, South Africa and is the youngest of four kids. His father was an avid fisherman, so Clifford was introduced to shoreside fishing and deep sea fishing from a young age. He finished school in 1988 and then joined the South African Army for two years, becoming an Officer. At the age of 16, he joined the National Sea Rescue Institute, a volunteer organization that performs search and rescue operations along the South African coast. Captain Clifford spent 26 years with them and was a regional leader when he left the organization, training new crew and coxswains at a local and national level. Around the same time, he started sailing and doing some deliveries which introduced him to the world of yachting.

He started his yachting career as a Mate on a 100-foot Hargrave and became captain of the sister ship six months later. For four years, he captained trips 40 weeks per year through the Bahamas and the Caribbean. In his last position, he was on a new San Lorenzo yacht that started in the Bahamas and then moved to the Mediterranean. As Captain of UNBRIDLED, his goal is to ensure his guests have a wonderful yet safe voyage.

When not at sea, Captain Clifford enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors, camping, and touring remote places via 4×4 or motorbike. Once he retires from yachting, he plans to run a small, self-sufficient farm.

His favorite places to visit are the Bahamas for their beautifully colored waters and abundant sea life, as well as the rugged, unspoiled beauty of South Africa’s coastline.

Julian Brown is an acclaimed chef with several accomplishments in his field, including 2 AA Rosettes and a Bib Gourmand from Michelin. A seasoned professional within the hospitality industry, he started as a kitchen porter and worked his way up to general management. Throughout his career, he has opened, developed and managed three new restaurants and bars, achieving financial success and national press recognition in Britain. He was also invited by the Georgian government to provide training in Service Excellence for their National Tourism Administration in Tblisi’s premier hotels.

In 2016, he embarked on the next phase of his career as part of the yachting industry, and brings his comprehensive knowledge of kitchens, restaurants and bars to his work as chef on UNBRIDLED. His culinary skills range through a wide variety of cuisines, including Modern British, French, Italian, Asiatic and Latin American. He is also skilled in preparing dishes for vegetarian, vegan, Banting, Paleo and Atkins diets.

When not working as a chef, he channels his passion for food into dinner parties at home with friends where he tries new recipes and ingredients. He loves walking and taking in the fresh air, whether he’s exploring the streets and hidden treasures of a city or venturing along the side of a small mountain. More recently, he has discovered a love for cycling, exploring the towpaths of Birmingham’s canals and the beaches surrounding the lochs of Shetland. Running, collecting art, music and reading are some of his other pastimes.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Katie Kisch

Katie was born and raised in the Midwest, right outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. Living in the “Land of 10,000 Lakes”, Katie spent a great deal of time on the water growing up, fishing and tubing with friends and family every summer, and ice fishing and skating every winter. She graduated from the University of North Dakota where she studied Psychology & Biology, and developed an extremely strong travel bug. Katie’s passion for travel and enthusiasm for working with people drew her to the yachting industry. From a very young age she has been drawn to anything and everything that allowed her to be creative. Her keen eye for design, strong attention to detail, and fresh perspective allow her to create personalized, one of a kind experiences for guests on board Unbridled. She is organized and thoughtful and always looking to be one step ahead in predicting guests wants and needs. Katie is a former nanny/au pair with over 10 years of experience working with children in various cities throughout the USA as well as living with a family in a small village in the Netherlands. She enjoys coming up with fun activities and special experiences for guests of all ages. Some day Katie hopes to own her own wedding/event planning business where she can highlight her strong organizational skills, innovative instincts, and unique style. In her spare time, Katie loves to travel, she has ventured all across Europe, SE Asia and the Caribbean, as well as a few trips to the Middle East and South America – and her list of places she wants to visit never stops growing. She is passionate about exploring local cultures, especially through food and art, getting creative through photography and watercolor painting, but her favorite pastime of them all is going for runs and adventures with her big, fluffy golden retriever, Finn.

DECKHAND/STEWARDESS: Emerald Epke

Growing up in Newport, Rhode Island led Emerald to a lifelong passion of being in, on, and around the ocean. Sailing competitively in high school and college, she also enjoys surfing, flyboarding, paddle boarding, yoga and cooking for her family and friends. She has Bachelor’s degrees in both International Relations and French Language and hopes to earn her Captains license when she has acquired enough sea time. She has lived in Australia, France, Costa Rica and has been to 43 of the 50 U.S. states. (Eight of which were during her cross-country bicycle trip at age 15!) Her passion for traveling and being active led her to the yachting industry and she hopes to someday retire from the industry to start her own charter boat business.

FIRST MATE/ DIVE INSTRUCTOR: Jason Holt

Jason has ample yachting experience, loves being on the water and sharing his passion for yachting with the guests.Born in South Africa, Jason Holt has spent his life on or in the water. Jason began his career as a commercial diver, working as a manager on Necker Island of the BVI and with a salvage and towing company. He learned about hydraulic and pneumatic machinery, underwater cutting and welding, damn wall repairs, and search and recovery. He even worked as a head diver for diamond exploration in Angola for many years. This time underwater boosted his passion to work above water on luxury charter yachts.

Jason has earned many qualifications in his career. He is a Dive Master and Commercial Diver Class II and looks forward to taking clients out scuba diving in the best areas as well as some secret locations for seeing amazing underwater life. He is a Master of Yachts 200 tons in addition to being qualified in O.O.W. all modules complete and ECDIS (electronic Chart Display and Information System). Having taken engineering courses at Rolls Royce Kamewa in water jets propulsion at Kristinehamn Swedenin as well as MAN diesel engineering courses in Houston, Texas, he is qualified for managing yachting systems and handling any emergencies that may arise.

For leisure, Jason enjoys fishing, water sports, and kite surfing. He can teach clients how to use many of the water sporting equipment on board, as well as offering some tips to experienced charter guests. Passengers who wish to go deep sea fishing will love having Jason aboard. He knows some of the best fishing spots, almost guaranteeing a delicious fresh-cooked dinner by the yacht chef. With eight years of yachting experience under his belt, Jason has a proven record of reliability, knowledge, and hard work.

Robert Marx - Captain Robert grew up on a farm in South African and had to learn early on how to fix things and to be innovative when you can’t find parts. After helping his dad running the farm for several years, he became a Construction and Project Manager and traveled all over the Eastern Cape of SA. Robert joined the mega yacht industry in 2006 and spent his first year in yachting as the Chief Engineer on the 164ft M/Y Chantel Ma Vie. When the opportunity arose for him to work with his wife, they joined M/Y El Jefe where he started as Mate/Engineer before becoming the Captain onboard in 2009. He has since completed a ton of successful charters as Captain and has cruised all over the Caribbean, Bahamas and up and down the US East Coast. In 2022 Robert joined M/Y Unbridled as Captain and he is ready to take guests on the adventure of a lifetime. His meticulous attitude ensures all systems are running smoothly and are well maintained for a safe and carefree vacation. His easy-going nature will make you feel comfortable from the moment you step onboard. He likes to make people laugh and keep guests active and entertained. Robert holds a 200 Ton Yacht Master Offshore Captains license and are currently busy with his OOW and 350Ton Masters. Robert is well versed in all the mechanical systems, as well as hydraulics, refrigeration and other operating systems onboard. When not navigating the crystal-clear waters off some tropical island, Robert enjoys motor sports, fishing, camping and watching documentaries. Daphne Marx - Chief Stewardess Daphne was born in South Africa’s windy city, Port Elizabeth. She always dreamed of being on big boats and wanted to explore the world. After College she started working in the construction industry as a property and project manager, but eventually the call of the ocean won and Daphne, along with her husband, decided to quit their land base jobs and started a new adventure. For the past 14+ years, she has worked on yachts ranging from 107ft to 200ft, where her calm demeanor and can-do attitude made her a favorite amongst owners, guests and crew. Professional, personable and caring best describes Daphne. With her background in Property Management and her experience in service, she has a great eye for detail and is adept at being invisible when necessary, yet appearing at just the right moment to ensure everything runs smoothly. Daphne’s passion for her job makes her the perfect hostess, always on hand to anticipate guests needs. When Daphne is not planning a theme night or making cocktails, she loves to do photography while exploring new places. She also loves camping and hiking, and to just relax with a good book or movie. Raphael RIvet - Chef Our amazing Chef Raphael hails from France. Raphael was born into a family of chefs and the love for cooking just came natural to him. Raphael is a passionate chef with over 30 years of experience, 17 of which has been in yachting. He first worked in Restaurants in Bath, in the UK, then went on to resorts in the Caribbean and the Pacific. Raphael has cruised extensively throughout the world including Africa, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Tahiti, North and South America including Alaska, to just name a few. During this time, he obtained huge amounts of knowledge of all the different cultures and foods, which enhanced his amazing culinary skills. He also did 7 transatlantic crossings onboard yachts, keeping the crew fed with healthy dishes. At the Antiqua boat show, Raph won the first-place prize at the Chef’s Competition, three years in a row. He excels in modern and classic French cuisine, fine French dining, hand-crafted breads and patisserie, Sushi, Italian, Mediterranean Seafood, and home comfort foods. Raphael is easygoing, flexible, and reliable, running the galley at a very high and professional standard. In his spare time, he loves to explore the great outdoors and loves sailing, fishing, diving, and camping. Keeping fit is important to him, so he enjoys playing tennis, hiking and trekking through the mountains. James Miller - Mate/Dive Instructor James was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. His keen interest in scuba diving led him to get certified and he soon become a dive instructor. He started his maritime career on a dive boat in the Bahamas in 2016. James’ need for knowledge quickly moved him into the engineering side of the dive boats and eventually he also attained his captain’s license. James spent five years running scuba dive charters in the Exuma islands before he made the move onto larger yachts. He cruised throughout the Caribbean and some parts of Europe, though his love of the Bahamas had him returning to the islands aboard M/Y Unbridled, where he is keen to learn more about the industry. With his sharp wit and good sense of humor, he is ready to share his knowledge of the beautiful Bahamas and its rich marine life with our guests. His years of experience managing professional diving operations, will ensure safe and memorable dive and snorkeling excursions. James is always ready to crack a joke or give a helping a hand where needed. In his downtime he likes to play guitar and watch scary movies. Vera Buck - Deck/Stew Vera was born in Belville, South Africa to German parents and grew up around the greater Cape Town area. As a child, she spent tons of time on the beach in the beautiful coastal town of Kleimond, where she loved to explore the coastline and surrounding areas. In 2015 she decided to spend some time in Germany with her family and while traveling in Southern Italy, she discovered the world of yachting. Soon she had her first job onboard and has since worked on vessels ranging from 80ft - 320ft, cruising all around the Caribbean, Bahamas, and the Mediterranean. Vera has a background in business management, entrepreneurship, and tourism. Before joining Unbridled, she decided to take a break from yachting and went back to Cape Town for a bit. There she joined a start-up company that develops small inner-city farms, where they plant crops, vegetables, and fruits, to help provide food for those less fortunate in the area. Vera is a true people’s person and with her contagious smile and bubbly personality, she helps guests to be at ease and relaxed from the moment they set foot onboard Unbridled. Her fun-loving and caring attitude is why guest and crew alike, adore her. She is passionate about the environment and nature and she loves spending time outdoors. When Vera is not working, she enjoys exploring new places, snorkeling, hiking, and camping. She also enjoys reading good books and watching a good movie.

The Trinity motor yacht UNBRIDLED , measuring 58m (191’) is now offering a fantastic 9 nights for the price of 7 this winter in the Bahamas . Launched in 2009 and refitted in 2019, she accommodates up to 12 charter guests over 6 cabins and has a total crew of 13. Patrick Knowles is responsible for the interior design, while the naval architecture was completed in-house.

Throughout the yacht, there are fine marble, warm woods and contemporary furnishings. A generous salon offers ample seating, while the formal dining is separate forward of the salon. On the main deck forward is the master stateroom with a private office. Her sky lounge is social with seating, a games table and entertainment. Additional accommodation is on the lower level of the vessel.

M/Y UNBRIDLED has 3 exterior decks, the main deck aft houses the tenders and offers access to the swim platform.
