Very friendly staff and well organized

Truely a professional team lead by Callum Sutherland. I really appreciated their thoroughly researching our Yanmar Saildrive issue by calling other leading experts at Land-Sea Power in Delta, Boatswain in Costa Mesa, and Mack Boring in NJ before cracking open our drive. Not only did they quickly and correctly find root cause, they made the case and successfully convinced Yanmar on our behalf to pay parts and labor despite being out of warranty. That's service!

Our factory trained marine mechanics are experienced in all marine engines and transmissions and specialize in Volvo Penta, Mercury Marine, Yanmar, Catapillar, Lugger, Cummins, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Evinrude, ZF and Ultrajet. With 100 plus years of experience no problem is too big or too small to keep you boating safely. If you are needing marine systems work, our technicians are some of the most experienced in sanitation, plumbing, heating, and hull maintenance, on the west coast, with years of knowledge in repairs and servicing to VacuFlush, Sealand, Headhunter, Espar, and Webasto. As a Zodiac authorized repair facility, we are fully capable of all repairs and maintenance operations on soft and rigid hull (RHIB) inflatables. We provide service dock space as well as haul outs with trailer or our 2 travel lifts that are capable of lifts up to 70ft and 60 tons. Props repaired on-site too! …

Had work finished April 2022 and was charged way to much. They did not take the time to even go over the work with me piss poor will not go back.

Mark, Wille and Gord at Vector Yacht Services did an amazing job. They bottom painted, fixed various electrical issues, kept the batteries charged and the water maker flushed and kept us up to date the entire time. They are now our go to yacht maintenance yard.

We and our boat were short-time visitors to Sidney and Vector was recommended to us for a repair. They were courteous, professional and gave us immediate service. They took care of what needed to be done, allowing us to go on our way without delay. I truly appreciate a business which treats one-time customers the way Vector treated us.

Vector Yacht Services and Canoe Cove

After nearly 60 years in the marine repair and service business, Canoe Cove Marina has sold that portion of their operation to Vector Yacht Services, located on Harbour Road in Sidney. Vector Marine will take over the marine chandlery and the mechanical shop at Canoe Cove Marina as their second location. A number of Canoe Cove’s technical staff have made the transition to Vector Yacht Services effective July 1 and will continue to provide most of the services that Canoe Cove has offered for so long. Some of the Canoe Cove staff will be moving to the marina offices.

With this change, Canoe Cove will continue to run the marina, Travelift, haulout and dryland storage facilities, while Vector joins the select group of marine professionals offering first class marine services including inboard and outboard sales and service, inflatable sales and service, and an enhanced electronics program, along with many of the other services boaters have become used to at the marina.

Moorage enquiries, haul-out and dryland storage requests will be handled in the upstairs marina office. The fuel float will continue to be operated by Canoe Cove Marina and will be open on demand, seven days per week. Vector will be running the marine chandlery seven days per week as has been the practice.
