Below Deck: Sailing Yacht's Charles Sanders Addresses The Negative Fan Reactions To His Appearance On The Show

Omellete you finish, but...that was the most divisive primary stint of all time.

So far on the third season of Below Deck : Sailing Yacht , the most controversial primary to appear on the Parsifal III has been Charles Sanders. The husband of Bachelor Nation alum Erica Rose, Sanders rubbed many from the deck crew in the wrong way, such as when he threw a fit over a breakfast omelette and later nearly came to blows with his own guest on the trip. Bravo fans shared many negative reactions online regarding his antics, and Sanders is addressing them directly.

Why Charles Sanders Believes His Backlash Happened

Amidst the airing of his charter's episodes, viewers did not hold back what they really thought of the personal injury attorney. On Twitter, for example, Charles Sanders was labelled by one user as “disgusting,” as someone with “little class” by another, and overall one of the “worst charter guests” in the history of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In an interview with Reality Blurb , the provocative figure recognized why he received such hateful criticisms on social media, saying,

I think people reacted negatively to me because I made a bit of a scene which at the time I thought would be funny. The aftermath has been challenging to say the least and I definitely didn’t mean to offend anyone.

Charles Sanders admitted that he “dramatized” his behavior for the sake of the reality show, and that it was “fun” getting to play up his storyline in anger-inducing ways. Playing the villain role certainly can work out for some unscripted TV stars, as it has for Christine Quinn over on Netflix’s Selling Sunset . However, the Below Deck: Sailing Yacht newbie actually regrets now coming across as a “difficult passenger.”

Primary Beef With Castmates On And Off Below Deck: Sailing Yacht

Following their appearance on the show, Erica Rose took to defending her husband by calling out the alums who were onboard , specifically Daisy Kelliher, Colin MacCrae, Gary King and Captain Glenn. The insinuation was that they were all faking the drama for the sake of reality TV ratings. But then Kelliher responded to the accusations with an F-bomb on her personal podcast, saying that the beef actually started with certain comments made by Rose and her family after Below Deck: Sailing Yacht ’s second season. Charles Sanders denied any wrongdoing regarding the Bravo alum on that score. He also stated:

I had no idea that after such a fun trip that Daisy would turn around and be so cruel and say things she did about my family. Especially because Erica and her mother are so respectful and fun.

Furthermore, Sanders reflected to the outlet that he in fact considers Daisy Kelliher the “antagonistic” one, and not the other way around. He offered an apology only to his wife for having to take most of the “heat” for his exaggerated stint on the show.

Charles Sanders Speaks Out On That Low-Ball Below Deck Tip

To top off a not-so-well-received turn on Below Deck: Sailing Yacht , fans were shocked to learn that the group left behind the lowest tip in the entire franchise’s history , in the amount of $6,500. (Typically, the gratuity reaches upwards of 5-figures, as it has to be split amongst the whole crew.) The other couple involved with that trip have publicly claimed that Erica Rose and Charles Sanders lied about how much they were supposed to throw in the pot, so to speak. About that awks situation, Sanders only said:

It’s really odd they didn’t pay their portion. It seems a bit wrong that they did that and placed the blame on others. I hope they realize the crew members are hard workers and deserve a tip.

As to whether he will return for more drama (real or otherwise) on the ever-expanding sea-faring series , Charles Sanders revealed that he is done-zo, speculating that reality TV is not exactly his “forte.” Many fans will likely agree. And it’s probably for the best, anyway, considering that Daisy Kelliher has essentially said a repeat trip would happen over her dead body.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Chuck Sanders calls his behavior ‘despicable’ and says ‘don’t blame’ Erica Rose

Chuck Sanders from Below Deck Sailing Yacht tells people not to blame Erica Rose for his actions.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guest Chuck Sanders has called his behavior “despicable” and wants people to stop blaming Erica Rose for his actions.

There’s no question Erica and Chuck brought the drama on Season 3 of the hit sailing show. Chuck’s food rant against chef Marcos Spaziani got him dragged by Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans.

Erica defended her husband, revealing that he was acting during filming. That did little to help the outrage for the couple. Chuck now has spoken out to stand up for his wife and take the blame for his actions on the show.

Chuck Sanders calls his behavior on Below Deck Sailing Yacht ‘despicable’

Although Chuck and Erica’s final episode aired last week, they are still using social media to shut down the haters. Chuck did an Instagram Live the other night to answer questions, explain his behavior, and defend Erica against the trolls.

At first, Erica posted the live video to her Instagram feed, but it has since been deleted. The Instagram account @itsabravobravoworl captured a few clips of the video and shared it, with a lengthy caption about Chuck and Erica being the worst charter guests.

The footage begins with Chuck admitting his actions were horrible.

“The way I acted on the show was despicable and disgusting, and who I hurt the most was my wife,” Chuck said.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guest Chuck Sanders doesn’t want Erica Rose blamed for his behavior

Besides admitting that his actions were beyond awful, Chuck really wanted people to stop hating on Erica.

“She’s had followers that have been her fans for 15 years for as long as she’s been around, as long as Instagram’s been around, and now they’re reaching out to her talking about how mad they are at her. And it hurts her and y’all, hey don’t judge her. Please. She misses you guys. I can’t handle it. I don’t like the fact that I did this to her. I apologize to all of her followers. Don’t judge her. There’s not anyone out there that could say that she acted not professionally,” he stated.

Charles Sanders from Below Deck Sailing Yacht admits his behavior was disgusting. As for whether or not he was acting, Chuck said he was and wasn’t.

The one thing Chuck wants people to know is that Erica shouldn’t be held accountable, and he does feel bad for the backlash she’s had to endure.

Does Chuck’s message change your opinion of him or Erica?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.

They can cry all they want. You are how you act. I douche is always a douche.

If you are really sorry for your behavior then send a tip of 20k to the crew.

Erica should have stepped up and told her husband to cut the sh*t. She is to blame because she allowed that behavior. If they ever wanted to come back I’d say “hell no!”

KJ

I wish Rhett knocked your ass out, I blame bravo for not vetting scum like you.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Chef Marcos cooking on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 includes returning crew Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Captain glenn shephard, chief engineer colin macrae, second stew gabriela barragan, chief stew daisy kelliher, first mate gary king, deck hand kelsie goglia, chef marcos spaziani, deckhand tom pearson, below deck sailing yacht season 3 trailer .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 looks like it’s not light on the conflict or surprised hookups.

For those needing more details about that kiss between Gary and Daisy, hear from Daisy herself as she provides a little more insight on their involvement.

How to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 air live on Mondays in the US. With a subscription, episodes can also be streamed live via Fubo TV , Hulu with Live TV , Sling TV and YouTube TV . Additionally, Peacock provides next-day streaming for its subscribers. In order to access episodes, would-be viewers will have to subscribe to Peacock Premium , which offers either a $4.99 ad-supported or $9.99 ad-free plan.

Viewers in the UK can watch episodes the day after they air using Hayu .

Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

Below Deck guest Charles Sanders is worth millions as a successful lawyer

Below Deck guest Charles Sanders is worth millions as a successful lawyer

Charles Sanders joined the long list of primary charter guests on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, alongside his reality TV star-turned-attorney wife Erica Rose . Despite having a large net worth, they left the lowest tip in the show’s history.

Providing a five-star service was the Bravo yacht crew during the March 14th episode. This included chef Marcos Spaziani cooking up a meal to match their requirements, shortly after injuring himself.

Charles complained to the staff and claimed the food was “disgusting.” After leaving a $6,500 tip, viewers were left wondering what he does for a living, and how much he really has in the bank.

  • BARGAIN HUNT : Has Charles Hanson had his teeth fixed?

Who is Charles Sanders?

Charles “Chuck” Sanders is a personal injury attorney, who recently appeared as a primary charter guest on Below Deck Sailing Yacht . He brought his wife and Bachelor alum Erica Rose, and their family and friends.

He revealed that he thought “McDonald’s is better than this” when it came to the food. Charles told captain Glenn Shephard: “You don’t put sweet sauce on a steak. I’m losing money by sitting here and looking at this disgusting food.”

His wife Erica Rose has responded to backlash following the episode. She told Monsters and Critics :

He said he was acting. He was a theater major in college and he was just having fun. It was not scripted, and no one handed him a script. No one told him to do or say anything. He felt like it was his job, even though we aren’t paid to be there. But in the moment, he felt like it was his job to be as entertaining and over-the-top.

The son of a surgeon was often seen as the “black sheep” of his family, according to his company website . While the rest of his family (including his father-in-law) went into medicine, Charles took a different route for his career.

My reaction to Erica coming back on 😂 it’s not shown but I was actually crying after I found out they were coming on I wasn’t mentally prepared and overwhelmed #BelowDecksailing — Daisy Kelliher (@daisykelliher87) March 8, 2022

His job and net worth

Rose Sanders Law Firm, run by Charles and Erica, is a Texas-based personal injury firm with offices in Houston and McAllen, both in Texas. As a result of their successful business, the charter guest is worth $2 million.

As the firm’s co-founder and partner, Charles first launched his career in the industry as an insurance adjuster and claims counsel for numerous insurance companies. He is now a bodily injury insurance adjuster in over 26 US states.

He has worked as an adjuster and claims counsel for companies such as Geico, State Farm, Allstate, and other third-party administrators. Before his legal career, Charles got a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Texas A&M University.

The charter guest also achieved his Paralegal Certification from Rice University, and is also now licensed to practice law in the U.S. Southern District of Texas.

Since Glenn saved $ on the couch clean up, he should bill them $20,000 for labor and split the $ with the crew. #belowdecksailing — Lisa Embrey (@lisa_embrey) March 15, 2022

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 4 charles

Rich Canadian tech entrepreneur and co-founder of Club Penguin Lane Merrifield brought along a group of friends and his fiancé Amanda. This group of Canadians had a blast partying on the yacht, despite not being able to sail. They showed the crew how to do a hurricane, in which you take a shot, then have someone throw water in your face and slap you. They also had a sailing competition against the crew, which they narrowly lost.

Chef Marcos was put to the test because Lane requested molecular gastronomy , but as always, he rose to the challenge and wowed the guests.

These “classiest, funniest and kindest” charter guests left the crew the best tip of the season, $23,000 or $2,555 per crew member.

Primary Charter Guest Keely Washburn & Other Guests From Charter 7

Everything To Know About Keely Washburn & Other Charter Guests On Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

“Aspiring real estate agent” Keely Washburn, her friends and their moms were the guests on charter 7. This group of charter guests were well-behaved compared to Dr. Kim Nichols and Erica Rose’s groups.

The other charter guests alongside Keely were: friend Jennifer Husk, Husk’s mom Susan, friend Belinda Benham, Benham’s mom Debbie, friend Bailey Fuller, Bailey’s mom Wendy, and friend Jess Cimato.

The ladies didn’t get a lot of screen time to drama happening between the crew, but the most memorable moment was when some of the ladies called Chef Marcos “muy caliente” several times.

Keely and her gang left the crew $16,400, $1,820 for each crew member.

Primary Dr. Kim Nichols & Other Charter Guests From Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 Charter 6

Charter Guest Dr. Kim Nichols From Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guest Dr. Kim Nichols hasn’t yet come aboard Parsifal but she’s already making waves. Her preference sheet was read out by Captain Glenn Shephard in episode 10 and she wants all the crew to refer to her as “Dr. Nichols”.

Kim is a self-described celebrity cosmetic dermatologist with her own practice, called SkinLab , based in Greenwich, Connecticut. She is happily married to attorney Chris Cabanillas and is a mom of three children.

Kim made TV appearances on Megyn Kelly and Dr. Oz’s shows. Dr. Nichols’ Instagram mostly includes work-related posts of her and her employees conducting procedures and skincare advice.

Kim and her husband Chris chartered Parsifal III with their friends: Investment banker Dino and his wife Donna, Miami surgeon Pedro and his wife Adriana. The group tipped the crew $20,000, which resulted in each cast member making $2,500.

Primary Charter Guest Dawn, Husband & Friends From Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 Charter 5

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 4 charles

On charter 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3, charter guests Dawn Zacha and her husband Tim Miller join the crew to sail. The other guests on the charter include their friends: Marni and her husband Brian, Lauren and her husband Jamie.

On Dawn’s Instagram , she shares pictures of her enjoying life in Chicago with husband Tim and their daughter. Dawn’s an independent sales professional, vegan foodie who loves bikinis, yoga and dance. Her husband Tim is a software company CEO who loves sailing on Lake Michigan.

Her friends and husband don’t have their Instagram accounts set to private. On the show they have been relatively tame compared to other charter guests.

These charter guests were pleased with the service, and Dawn enjoyed her vegan meals. They left a generous charter tip of $20,000 or $2,500 for each crew member remaining after Tom’s firing.

4th Charter: Charter Guests Jim Blumenthal, Veronica, Chris, Ken, Rick & Marni

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 4 charles

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 Primary charter guest Jim Blumenthal owns businesses in Boulder, Colorado. He’s the President of Trailer Source and owns an RV dealership, per LinkedIn .

Jim and his friends were fairly easy-going while on the show, except they made the crew do a talent show. His long-term girlfriend Veronica stipulated the sailing yacht should be full of flowers. She’s a registered nurse.

Jim’s good friend Ken is another charter guest on the boat. He’s also a businessman who owns and operates office buildings. He’s a self-described comedian and is married to his wife Chris. She is in charge of the upkeep for their “multiple” homes across the US.

Jim and Veronica’s other friends invited as charter guests were Rick and Marni. Rick is a retired tech company executive and his wife Marni is in sales. Rick also loves to try rare and expensive wines.

Jim, Veronica and Co. left the cast a great tip of $21,000, or $25,030 for each crew member. Tom was fired in the middle of charter, so he was given only $760 in tip money.

3rd Charter: Charter Guests James Cox Junior, Bunny & Brother Tyler

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Charter Guests James Cox, Bunny, and Tyler

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 charter guests James Cox Junior, his brother Tyler Cox , their “cougar” friend Amy “Bunny” Dunn and the guys’ dad James Cox Senior all had a blast on Parsifal III.

On their charter, the group had a great time despite the lack of wind for sailing. Tyler, a wine connoisseur, imbibed too much and passed out cold at the first dinner. Tyler took over the family tile business based in Florida. Meanwhile, James Jr. is a successful real estate broker based in Manhattan, New York.

Their long-time friend Amy Dunn posted on Instagram a lot on their trip. Amy, a stunning 51, had fun hitting on the male crew members.

James Sr. celebrated his 75th birthday while on the sailing yacht.

This group of guests gave the crew a tip total of $16,000 or $1,778 per person.

2nd Charter: Charter Guests Erica Rose & Charles Sanders

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Charter Guests Erica Rose and Husband Charles Sanders

Reality TV lover Erica Rose and her husband Charles Sanders made their mark in Below Deck charter guest history. They will not soon be forgotten as some of the worst charter guests to disgrace themselves on a yacht.

Erica Rose is an Instagram influencer and lawyer from Houston, Texas. She is an aspiring reality TV star who has been on The Bachelor , Bachelor Pad , Dr. Phil and Inside Edition . She has two daughters, one with Charles “Chuck” and one with her ex fiance.

Charles is also a lawyer, and shares a practice with Erica . He focuses on auto injury law. Charles gave a crying apology for his appalling behavior while on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

Erica’s mom Cindi Rose was also on the charter. She added to the madness of the charter by staining a white couch with brown bronzer and arriving late after getting kicked off a flight.

This Erica Rose’s infamous group of charter guests gave a pathetic $6,500 tip to the crew. This meant crew members only received only $722 each for the charter.

1st Charter: Primary Charter Guest McCordia Young

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Primary Charter Guest McCordia Young & Friends

Washington DC real estate investor McCordia Young and the other charter guests were a relatively tame group compared to Erica Rose’s family.

They kept Chef Marcos very busy in the galley due to their insatiable appetites. Things took a bad turn when McCordia got too drunk and was sexually harassing Gabriela Barragan . She brushed off his inappropriate advances like a pro.

McCordia’s friends on the charter with him included his ex lover and business partner Norman Slye-Hawkins . He also invited other real estate agents including Leisel Taylor, Arnita Greene, Aliya Johnson.

McCordia and the other charter guests gave a total tip of $17,600. Each crew member received $1,955 in total tip money from the first charter.

This article will be updated with the latest on new charter guests from this season.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Recap: New Boatmance Just Dropped

Below deck sailing yacht.

below deck sailing yacht season 3 episode 4 charles

Last week marked the start of a Gary/Chase feud, and it shows no signs of slowing down. This episode opens with Gary and Colin still discussing Chase, who remains angry about being told what to do. Colin likes Chase and his “good work ethic,” but Gary’s giant ego won’t allow him to let this go easily. Might I suggest the act of just being up front with one another?

Meanwhile, Daisy has taken Captain Glenn’s “negative feedback” from the previous charter to heart, describing it as a “pain to the core.” To ensure things run smoothly from now on, she says she will “take this opportunity to train the girls as much as I can.” Doesn’t training typically happen at the very beginning of a season?

Since eel was listed on the preference sheets, Ileisha ordered what she thought was eel fillet but turned out to be a whole one that’s still alive. “They’re like the snakes of the ocean, and they freak me out,” she tells us before recalling how a python wrapped around the bathtub when she was a baby and her dad had to chop its head off. “So, yeah, traumatized,” she adds. When Lucy walks in on Colin and Ileisha trying to butcher the eel, she looks horrified and screams. She’s the most relatable person on the boat!

With the guests planning on spending the day doing water sports since there’s no wind for sailing, Daisy takes a break as the stews clean cabins. In the lazarette, Gary realizes that the eFoils aren’t charged, causing a delay. The guests are tired of waiting, so they decide to visit a nearby beach to swim and snorkel. Chase, who is chaperoning, wants a stew to help with drinks on the tender, but Lucy says she’s too busy. This annoys Gary, who complains to Captain Glenn, who then decides to send Lucy to shore, which will surely piss Daisy off once she awakens from her slumber.

Throughout all this, Chase is  still  complaining about Gary. “If I was green and this was my first boat and I was lost and needed to be taught everything, considering Gary’s leadership style, we would be fucked,” he tells us. I feel like this is all being exaggerated because Gary has been on the boat for, like, three days and immediately had to get up to speed.

When she finally wakes up, Daisy heads downstairs to check on the girls and send Lucy on a break, but Mads breaks the news that she’s not on the boat. Daisy says it’s fine but utters, “It’s just that we don’t have time for this shit.” To make matters worse, she spots Gary and Colin playing around on the eFoils, which infuriates her even more because she thinks one of them could’ve gone in Lucy’s place. It’s a classic  Below Deck  scenario we’ve seen play out dozens of times, so when Daisy confronts him later, Gary just nods and smiles because he has learned by now not to make things worse.

On the tender, Chase tells Lucy he thinks “something’s going to happen” with Mads during their upcoming night out, and Lucy later relays this to Mads, who says it’s definitely not happening because, as she tells us, “Chase has no game.” His Southern-gentleman shtick doesn’t work on everyone after all! Meanwhile, the first thing Alex does after waking up is flirt with Mads in the crew mess. “Typically, I date models with daddy issues, and that has not gone extremely well,” he says before adding that he likes Mads because she’s Not Like Other Girls or whatever.

Everyone is aware of Ileisha’s stress-triggered bad time management at this point, but Daisy notes it doesn’t matter because the guests are so nice that they won’t care. That may be true, but it’s a problem that’ll keep plaguing her. Elsewhere, Gary and Chase are still having an unpleasant time working together. Gary tells Chase to go on a break, which Chase disregards because he wants to help with the rope swing, and Gary tells him he’ll regret not taking time to relax, which is probably true.

Following lunch, the guests head up to the deck for rope swinging, which I can’t imagine being a fun activity.  American Idol  season-one runner-up  Justin Guarini  executes it perfectly, but a guest named Kelly ends up belly-flopping into the ocean, which looks painful as hell but makes for a funny moment as Chase tells us she “ate shit.”

It’s time for dinner, which is a “Southern comfort cuisine”–inspired bourbon tasting menu. As everyone enjoys their meal, Kim realizes she forgot to remove their clothes from the bathroom. Later, her husband, Ian, rushes down to the cabin to tell Mads and Lucy that he feels horrible for leaving a “colossal clutter of mess.” What a difference between these lovely guests and the last charter’s disastrous ladies! In the kitchen, Captain Glenn notices Ileisha’s flustered state, so he urges her not to let something like overcooked lamb get to her. It’s solid advice, but I have an inkling that Ileisha’s struggles will only continue to grow, though I applaud her for not allowing her emotions to get the best of her à la Chef Adam.

Alex is on anchor watch again, and a storm hits overnight. “Shit’s about to get weird,” he says after noticing the strong winds. The wind speed reaches 16 knots (and rising), yet Alex doesn’t bat an eye. Captain Glenn and Gary only wake up after hearing the anchor drag, and Alex informs them he had only just noticed the wind getting stronger, which, sure. Gary tells us Alex correctly followed procedure, but I feel like he wouldn’t have felt that way had it been Chase on night watch instead.

The next morning, Gary is unsurprisingly annoyed with Chase, this time for his handling of the ropes before docking. Gary thinks Chase is intentionally trying to make him mad; Chase believes Gary is “looking for a reason to be upset.” Both of these things are probably true at this point. When the guests — who will be dearly missed — depart, Ian expresses how much they enjoyed the trip, and Kim says she was especially blown away by the “kindness” the department heads led with. Cut to a shot of Chase looking annoyed and grunting because he obviously wouldn’t say the same about Gary.

As everyone completes their post-charter tasks, Colin asks Chase and Gary which girls they’re into, and Chase says that since he and Alex like Mads, “the ball is in her court.” Unbeknownst to him, she’s already ruled him out! Gary says he’ll be a “fly on the wall” since everyone is already hooking up, but when has that ever stopped him? Colin’s thoughts: “Gary has had it so easy for the last two seasons. He’s always had the girls fighting over him, and this is the first time he’s got a little more competition.” That’s exactly what makes this season’s boatmances all the more exciting.

At the tip meeting — where we learn that the guests left a fantastic $23,000 tip — Captain Glenn congratulates the crew for a successful charter and praises the interior for finding their “groove.” “I feel fucking elevated,” Daisy says about the good feedback. And with that, Gary announces, “It’s time to get fucked up!”

The crew packs into gender-separated sprinter vans, where they gossip about who they like. Daisy tells the girls she isn’t interested in anyone but thinks Colin is “so hot,” planting the seed for what’s to come later in the season. Ileisha says she just wants “hookups, hookups, hookups.” I think we can all agree on that! Chase asks the guys their predictions for the evening, and Gary says he’s going to “take the straggler” after everyone pairs up. He’s back to his old habits!

After they arrive at the restaurant, Chase tells Gary and Ileisha that he’s crushing on Mads. Moments later, Gary’s flirting with Mads at the table as Chase looks on, visibly fuming. “I know a snake when I see a snake and that Gary is an asshole,” he says. Yeah, dude, Gary doesn’t give a fuck who you or anybody else likes! Later, Gary admits to Daisy that he’s a “bit jealous” over her kissing Alex. “I can’t read Gary,” Daisy shares. “I see the way he behaves with me, and you behave that way with every other single girl. For me, it’s kind of hard to take seriously.”

Once back on the boat, the evening gets worse for Chase. Alex and Mads are in the Jacuzzi drunkenly flirting, which makes Chase seethe with jealousy to the point where he calls it an early night. Soon enough, nearly everyone heads to bed, and we’re left with Gary, Mads, and Alex, who falls asleep as the other two flirt. After Alex leaves, Gary tells Mads that the boys are fighting over her but that he ultimately doesn’t care about stepping on their toes because “fuck them, they’re just deckhands.” Mads and Gary’s jacuzzi hangout escalates to a full-blown make-out session, which will lead to some very interesting developments next week. I, for one, can’t wait.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Episode 3 Review: 'Omelette You Finish"

It's the 3rd episode of the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and crew members are already butting heads...

It's the 3rd episode of the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and tensions are already running high. With just 29 hours until charter, Ashley and Tom have just butted heads over Ashley's ageist comments against Tom.

While crew mates Gary and Kelsie tell the pair they just need to kiss and makeup, Ashley and Tom are still reeling from their argument and their hangovers.

Tom And Ashley Clear The Air

Tom seeks Gary's advice, hoping he'll have some insight as to how to approach the situation with Ashley. Ashley vents to Marcos who believes that their squabbles will eventually come to a head, noting a past yachting experience where he got caught sleeping with the entire female crew.

Hoping to clear the air, Tom apologizes to Ashley, saying her ageist comments rub him the wrong way. Ashley tells Tom that her defensiveness came from wanting to stand by her opinion. While it doesn't seem the dust has settled just yet, the two hug and make up.

The Crew Prepares For Their Second Charter

With just 20 hours until charter, Glenn convenes with Gary, Daisy, and Marcos to discuss the incoming guests. As fact sheets are handed out, Daisy's head hangs low with a groan as she recognizes the familiar Erica Rose and her mother, Cindi, a duo that had proved menacing during last year's season . While Daisy is apprehensive about hosting Erica once more, she hopes that the new grouping of friends and the inclusion of Erica's husband will mellow Erica out.

Daisy Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

After offering a checklist of tasks to Ashley, Gabriela is dismayed to find that Ashley has yet to complete her chores, leaving Gabriela to pick up the slack. She finds Ashley in the mess with Daisy and confronts her about having shirked her duties . A frustrated Daisy tells the girls she doesn't want to hear it, and hopes they'll reconcile their differences.

Gabriela pulls Gary aside and explains the situation. He tells her that when there's tension between two people on the yacht, it's felt throughout the crew, and that she should apologize. So, Gabriela pulls Ashley for a chat, explaining that she didn't want Ashley's poor performance - or lack thereof - to bode poorly on her. Concerned only with herself, Ashley half-heartedly accepts the apology, saying Gabriela's reaction was uncalled for, and diminishing the titles of second and third stew, dubbing them "obsolete."

Ashley and Gabriela Making Amends Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

Over with the deckhands, Tom struggles to adhere to the rules set by Glenn, Colin, and Gary, misleading an eager Kelsie in her cleaning duties. He then proceeds to scratch the paint of the transom door, once again disobeying Colin's orders that he take the pins out prior to opening the door. Taking note of Tom's attitude, Colin opens up a dialogue with Tom, and the two agree that Tom will have to make some adjustments moving forward in order to ensure complete success.

The Second Charter Guests Arrive

It's 6 hours to charter, and Glenn pulls Daisy aside, revealing he's just received a text that guests Erica, her husband Charles (Chuck), and her mother Cindi were removed from their flight due to a discrepancy with the flight crew. As such, Cindi missed her connecting flight and will be arriving later than anticipated. Unphased as she anticipated this type of behavior, Daisy welcomes the guests, anxious for what's to come.

Erica Rose Charter Guest Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

After providing a tour of the yacht and settling the guests into their rooms, Daisy lays out Marcos' intended dinner menu to the guests. Clearly ecstatic for what Marcos has in store, especially the suggested watermelon gazpacho, Chuck says, "sounds like we're just eating a bunch of crap." Daisy returns the feedback to Marcos who is then bombarded by Erica and her friends who want to make sure their dinner will consist only of foods they've selected. Settling on salad, vegetables, and steak, Erica tells Marcos she doesn't like any pink in her steak.

The Guests Start To Get Picky

At dinner, the guests are extremely pleased, save for late arrival, Cindi, who says her steak wasn't good. Noticing her steak is less than well done, Erica sends her steak back to Marcos who vows never to disobey a guest's food orders again. Leaving the table satisfied and smiling, Chuck remarks that the meal was in the "top 5" of his life. Prior to the guests heading to bed, Daisy confirms with Erica that brunch will be the following day at 11 AM, and that neither breakfast nor lunch need to be served.

Charter Guests Chuck and Erica Rose Ridiculing Marcos' Omelette Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

The following morning, a cranky and hungover Chuck asks why he's not being greeted with a breakfast . Though Marcos had not prepared breakfast per Erica's instructions, he makes a bacon, onion, and cheese omelette to satiate Chuck. Examining the omelette, Chuck is upset to find tomatoes in his omelette, requesting that Daisy ask Marcos to make another omelette per his specifications. Without complaint, Marcos makes Chuck his desired omelette which Chuck and Cindi decide is "disgusting" and "putrid." "I've gotten better food at the ballpark," Chuck says.

Episode Verdict

It's almost comical that Ashley and Tom are at each other's throats the most, tiffing about their respective maturities. In reality, it seems the two have more than enough growing up to do, pouting upon receiving instructions and showing visible agitation toward their superiors.

Speaking of growing up, charter guests Chuck and Cindi have a thing or two to learn about manners. Surely a world-famous chef such as Marcos knows how to make an omelette - in his defense, we think it looked delectable. Maybe you should stick to ballpark food, Chuck. Suffice it to say, the crew of this season's yacht have their work cut out for them.

"It was another amazing week in LA. I just love how there is so much to do!" Daisy captioned the post, in which she noted how she visited Universal Studios, Mother Wolf restaurant, The Bungalow in Santa Monica, the club Lock & Key in Koreatown, the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and Shirley's restaurant located inside the hotel. Daisy added that she saw the music group Kaskade at Avalon Hollywood for an "amazing" night out in the city.

Daisy shared several photos from her travels, including snapshots of delicious-looking food, nights in the club, and outfits for her California occasion.

Daisy Kelliher is friends with Christina Applegate

What's more, Daisy has also formed an unlikely friendship over the past few months with actress Christina Applegate, who became a big fan of the Below Deck   franchise.

"She’s a huge Bravo fan, and she reached out to me via Instagram, and was massively supportive," Daisy shared in an interview with the  Daily Mail on February 19. She said, 'Hey Daisy,' and we FaceTime and stuff. She's just so nice."

The chief stew also noted she hoped to "meet up" with Christina some day. Daisy didn't post any photos from her L.A. trip with Christina, but we wonder if they did indeed meet up during Daisy's trip.

"She's busy with her family and I know she is taking it easy, and keeping all of her energy for her [Multiple Scelorsis], but hopefully we’ll make time," Daisy concluded to the outlet.

Screen Rant

10 below deck charter guests who will never return to the franchise.

While the charter guests who appear on Below Deck have a great time while filming the show, many aren't invited back for a number of reasons.

  • Some charter guests on Below Deck have caused unnecessary drama and won't likely return due to bad behavior.
  • Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht faced backlash from Barrie, who called him two-faced.
  • Former guest Dr. Francis Martinis will not return to Below Deck after he was arrested for faking prescriptions.

The Below Deck franchise has featured many charter guests since 2013, many of whom will never return . The Bravo series focuses on expensive charters with wealthy guests who have attitude problems and over-the-top demands. That includes Charter guest Alexis Bellino, who boarded Captain Lee Rosbach’s yacht with her boyfriend at the time, Andy Bohn. She was disrespectful and made everyone uncomfortable with her and Andy's PDA. She even insulted crew members after featuring on the show.

Like Alexis, Delores Flora from Below Deck season 8 was a terrible guest. Not only did she misbehave, but she also got drunk and s wam while intoxicated, which is not only not allowed, it frightened the crew members. Delores got kicked out of the yacht the next day. These guests created unnecessary drama on the boat and will likely never return like a few others from the franchise.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

8 barrie & tony, below deck sailing yacht.

Barrie and Tony Drewitt Barlow had a decent time in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht seasons 2 and 3. Despite that, they left with a bitter taste because of Captain Glenn Shephard. In 2021, Barrie participated in a podcast, Pita Party: The Podcast , where he claimed that Captain Glenn bothered him while using his phone .

Barrie said, “he (Captain Glenn) was a two-face b*stard,” adding that he just didn’t like his presence.

7 Frank Fay

Below deck mediterranean.

In Below Deck Mediterranean season 7, Charter guest Frank Fay had a thing for second stew Kyle Viljoen. He pursued him on the yacht, but unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last. Frank will likely never return to the series as long as Captain Sandy Yawn allows Kyle to work for her. Even if Kyle quits, Frank wouldn’t want to be in an environment that would remind him of his failed relationship.

6 Erica Rose

Erica Rose appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht two seasons in a row. Erica was highly offensive toward the crew member, as well as her husband, Charles Sanders, and to make things worse, she left the crew with a measly tip , leading fans to slam her on social media. Ultimately, Erica had to apologize for her bad attitude but never returned to give the crew the tip they deserved. Nobody on Below Deck Sailing Yacht would ever want to return.

5 Justin Guarini

Justin Guarini’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was not dramatic at all; however, he’ll probably never return to the series. Justin wouldn’t return because he wasn't the primary guest. He joined his friend, Kim, who wanted to enjoy a luxury yacht trip. It was more of a one-and-done deal. Secondly, nobody recognized him at all. Viewers later realized who he was and how he was the runner-up on American Idol season 1. Justin is a theatre artist and has made a name for himself. However, it was embarrassing that so many fans had no clue who he was .

Below Deck: 8 Charter Guests With The Worst Attitudes

4 johnny damon.

Johnny Damon’s time at Below Deck Med was full of explosive moments. Once, he sent the food back, citing that the experience wasn’t “five stars.” On another occasion, his wife, Michelle, created drama by yelling at the owner of another yacht . Overall, the experience was simply terrible on both sides. Crew members didn’t love Johnny and his wife, and the couple didn’t respect the crew members. It is unlikely that Captain Sandy would want to host the couple again as long as she’s in charge.

3 Krystal Murphy

Former charter guest Krystal Murphy boarded Captain Lee’s yacht with her friends. She immediately began showing red flags, drinking, and just being a menace. Krystal fought with her friend, Chelsea, creating unnecessary drama. She even passed out and punched a friend in the face. Former Chief Stew Kate Chastain disliked serving Krystal and called her a “spoiled brat;” she wanted to throw her off the yacht. Nowadays, Krystal has seemingly become a more private person. It doesn’t seem like Krystal would want to be on TV again.

2 Steve Bradley

Below Deck fans should remember Steve Bradley as he made many appearances on the show. In Below Deck season 3, he wanted a foam party and demanded the crew to figure it out and follow his commands, acting like a king. In Below Deck season 6, Steve made more outrageous requests. Apart from being a wild guest, Steve was entitled and acted inappropriately at times . No Below Deck captain would want to host him again as he didn't come off as very likable.

1 Dr. Francis Martinis

Below deck mediterranean & below deck sailing yacht.

Dr. Francis Martinis from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht has a zero chance of returning. While the former charter guest didn’t have too many issues on the show, his personal life issues will stop him from appearing on Bravo again. According to TMZ , Dr. Francis and his wife, Jessica, were arrested for filling out fake prescriptions in December 2023 . The couple used the names of Below Deck stars and got caught red-handed. The Below Deck franchise would never want to welcome felons, especially when their mugshots are all over the internet.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
