TITAN Yacht – Extravagant $100M Superyacht

Reymond Langton Design penned both the interior and exterior features of the fantastic superyacht and Abeking & Rasmussen built her.

She was delivered from their Lemwerder shipyard in 2010, along with two sister ships, Eminence and C2, which are privately owned pleasure yachts. TITAN is used personally by the owner.

The TITAN yacht features interior design from British yacht designer Reymond Langton Design .

The interior details of the TITAN yacht remain private, but Reymond Langton Design is known for its beautiful and functional designs.

She has accommodation for 14 guests on board in 7 suites. There is also accommodation for 19 crew members on board the 80m superyacht.

She has a beach club for a perfect indoor/outdoor for guests to enjoy on the water level.

There is an on-deck Jacuzzi for relaxation and a gym for guests to use. There is also a movie theater that guests can relax in after a day on the water.

TITAN features a unique Abeking & Rasmussen feature with a large transom hatch to load and launch the tenders from the large interior garage.

The exterior of the TITAN yacht was also designed by Reymond Langton Design and built by the German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen.

The shipyard’s in-house design team penned the naval architecture. She was delivered from the Lemwerder shipyard in 2010 and refitted in 2021.

The hull of the TITAN yacht is grey with a white aluminum superstructure. TITAN has a modern and powerful exterior on the water.

Specifications

The TITAN yacht is a 78.43m yacht with a 12.6m beam and a 3.4m draft. She has a displacement of 2115 gross tons and a top speed of 17 knots.

Her two Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 6000 nautical miles.

She has at-anchor stabilizers to provide exceptional comfort levels for guests. The $100 million vessel has an annual running cost of $5 – $10 million. She was built to Lloyd’s Society Rules and MCA standards.

The TITAN yacht is a privately owned yacht that is not available for charter. However, her sister ship Eminence is a charter yacht.

The owner was born in Krasnodar, Russia, USSR, and is of Jewish descent. He attended The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, graduating with a degree in physics and mathematics in 1982.

Before beginning his business ventures, he first worked for Russia’s space and defense program as a scientist.

Government funding declined for the space program, and so he became a major businessman in Russia. 

Before the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, he ran a laboratory at the Joint Institute of High-Pressure Temperatures, studying high energy densities and shock wave physics and applied electrodynamics.

Abramov leaped into business when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 and founded his first firm in 1992 that imported and sold fitness equipment.

Later, he joined former classmates to create EvrazMetall, an exporter of Russian steel. This precursor enterprise of Evraz Holding made him a fortune by exporting metals and coals from the Urals and Siberia.

Between 2001 and 2003, Abramov and his partners acquired three steel plants Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Plant, West Siberian Iron and Steel Plant, and Novokuznetsk Iron and Steel Plant.

These three plants were the foundation for Evraz, which now has iron ore, coal mining, and steel manufacturing operations. The partners sold shares in Evraz on the London Stock Exchange in 2005 for $400 million.

A year later, the partners sold 41% of the company to billionaire Roman Abramovich, pocketing $3 billion.

There are ten partners in Evraz. Abramov has a 29% stake in the country and is a director alongside Alexander Frolov.

Abramov used the process to invest in gold, forestry, and mobile internet services. In 2013, Abramov and Abramovich teamed up again to buy a 5.9% stake in Norilsk Nickel, the world’s second-largest nickel producer.

Abramov and partners sold a 24.5% stake in Trans Container for $436 million. The company is Russia’s largest railway container operator.

Super yacht Titan is the third yacht in the 78m series, launched by Abeking & Rasmussen of Germany. With naval architecture by the yard's in-house team, the striking Titan yacht has her exterior styling created by Reymond Langton, who also designed the two other superyachts in the 78m series.

Superyacht TITAN has a grey hull, built from steel, with a white superstructure which was constructed in aluminium. Unlike her sister-ships luxury yacht Titan has some minor customisation in the profile look of her sundeck and radar mast areas. Titan can also be distinguished with her large doors which have been positioned on the side part of the forward full beam area. These doors are likely to be for water toy and tender side garages. Abeking are known for designing and building very large transom hatches on their modern motor yachts as they operate two well proven tender launching systems actually developed by A&R. This allows the yacht to employ smooth launching and recovering of the ship tender even whilst under way, or when approaching a anchorage or harbour.

Titan measures 60.40 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.65 metres and a beam of 12.80 metres. She has a gross tonnage of 1,637 tonnes. She has a deck material of teak.

Titan has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Exterior Design

TITANIA’s exterior design is the work of celebrated naval architect Espen Oeino, who has successfully penned a timeless and sophisticated silhouette, which encompasses an ample selection of versatile outdoor living, dining and entertainment areas. Primed for panoramic views, the sundeck is a haven for sun lover’s seeking out relaxation while a multitude of leisure options are at hand on the ‘pool deck’ below. As the name suggests, an inviting pool with a swim-up bar takes pride of place alongside a huge, U-shaped bar and alfresco dining setup for up to 14 guests. There are even more outdoor dining and lounging options on both the main deck and bridge deck below as well as a fabulous beach club. Equipped with a sauna, bar and sofa, this water-side area can transform from an enviable daytime hangout to a waterside night club.

Interior Design

Headed up by design firm Zuretti, the stunning interior of TITANIA immediately transports all those who step aboard into an opulent haven of unparalleled luxury and comfort. The lavish main salon features a show-stopping grand piano alongside an elegant lounge area and marble-topped bar. Further forward there is a regal dining salon, perfect for formal dinner parties. On the bridge deck, another dining space encircled by full-length glass windows creates an intimate setting for a special occasion, while the spacious skylounge forward is the place for family get-togethers with a bespoke games table and large HD TV screen. Overall, much of the interior is defined by rich, high-gloss woods, vivid pops of blue and complementing pale tones, ornate marble and other refined details. Plus, extensive glazing ensures the living spaces are flooded with natural light.

Guest Accommodation

Motor yacht TITANIA sleeps up to 12 guests in seven bespoke cabins, including an expansive master suite stretching across the forward section of the main deck. As well as full-beam sleeping quarters, an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi, a walk-in wardrobe and a private study, there is an alluring raised massage area with panoramic views forward. Taking up a prime spot on the pool deck forward is a VIP suite, while a VIP cabin with huge glass windows is located amidships to starboard on the upper deck. The remaining accommodation found on the lower deck comprises four double cabins. All boast beautifully appointed marble bathrooms, and two feature pullman berths.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

The beach club housed in the 3.8-metre stern extension is the ideal space to enjoy the water when at anchor. A sumptuous sofa and bar ensure guests can unwind here while the children and young at heart take to an inflatable water park deployed from the swim platform. The trampoline and climbing frame, as well as a 13-metre-tall water slide cascading down from the sundeck, provide hours of fun for all the family. TITANIA is also an accredited RYA training centre, with two qualified jet ski instructors who can help charter guests get their licenses. By night, however, the beach club can transform into a sleek and stylish nightclub for water-side parties. In the interior, there is a widescreen HD TV in the skylounge for movie nights at sea, as well as a games table. Plus, all cabins are equipped with the latest entertainment systems.

TITANIA is dedicated to health and wellbeing, and this is reflected in her vast range of wellness facilities. Alongside the beach club sauna, there is a glass-enclosed veranda on the sundeck containing a brand a new climate-controlled gymnasium. The exercise area is stocked with state-of-the-art equipment and a fitness instructor is on hand to create personalised fitness plans. After working out, charterers can then retreat to the dedicated spa room on the upper deck where a resident beauty therapist and hairdresser offers a range of treatments and massages for heavenly pamper sessions.

In addition to state-of-the-art audio visual and communication systems on board, TITANIA also features an ultra-modern zero speed stabilizer system. This reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother, more enjoyable cruising and berthing experience. Titan Yachts has Hull No. 9 under construction, a 63-foot custom sport-fisher that will be equipped with some innovative new features as the company continues its long-standing relationship with Roop Yacht of Virginia Beach, Virginia, for the boat’s design. The 63 introduces a Seakeeper 20HD tuned down to Titan’s specifications. A Furuno CSH-8LMK2 360-degree sonar and 24-inch TZtouch multifunction display will offer the captain unprecedented awareness above and below the waterline, and a Side-Power hydraulic positioning system with joystick assists in maneuverability in tight areas.

The cockpit will have two 40-gallon, in-deck livewells, with a third in the transom, as well as a huge refrigerated fish box. A pair of 1,900 horsepower MAN engines will power the new 63, and with 2,300 gallons of fuel, long-range travel is no problem. The boat’s interior features a three-stateroom, three-head layout that is further enhanced by stunning high-gloss Sapele mahogany woodwork.

There will be rod storage in the salon overhead to keep rods dry and safe while still offering easy accessibility; the galley will be equipped with Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers. The new Titan 63 is expected to splash in spring 2021.

Prometheus Sailing launches affordable TITAN Yacht Ownership Programme

Prometheus Sailing’s new TITAN Yacht Ownership Programme makes owning a large modern yacht in the UK an affordable reality. Uniquely, the programme gives owners total freedom to choose when and how often they use their boat as well as complete choice over the type of charters the yacht is used for. 

Prospective new boat owners who sign up to TITAN will purchase a brand new Jeanneau Sunsail 41.0 one design yacht, with a cashback amount sum, or discounted rate. They also receive a host of benefits as well as regular opportunities for the yacht to generate an income. 

Simon Boulding, Prometheus Sailing MD explains: “We wanted to create a totally flexible yacht ownership programme for our owners. With TITAN, owners have unlimited usage, with no restrictions on dates or weeks. Plus, they can select how and when we use the boat to generate charter revenues. Our owners can choose for the yacht to only be used for our sea school training, or for bareboat charters, corporate racing or specific regattas.”

Depending on their choices, owners can influence the revenue generating potential of their boat. The wider the range of charter activities will maximise the charter revenue returns, whereas a smaller range will generate less. The choice of personal usage, charter and revenue earnings is under the full control of each owner. 

Participating in the TITAN Yacht Ownership Programme also removes the day-to-day hassles of boat ownership and maintenance, saving the yacht owners’ considerable time. 

Prometheus Sailing has three new Jeanneau Sunsail 41.0 yachts available for delivery at the end of 2023, to be ready for the 2024 season. Having run and managed Sunsail’s UK corporate fleet, the Prometheus team at Port Solent has over 90 years combined experience in commissioning, running and managing yachts. All regular maintenance, berthing, insurance and charter management is included, and any costs incurred are offset against the owners 60% share of all charter revenues. 

In addition, all new owners are invited to make use of £3000 worth of TITAN Owners Privilege Points. These can be used to book up own boat and private tuition days with a fully qualified RYA instructor for family and crew members. It’s a chance to hone up on specific skills, get familiar with your new boat under expert supervision, take your Day Skipper or master the Coastal Skipper qualifications. Alternatively, they can use their points to get kitted out in brand new Helly Hansen jackets and sailing gear or purchase a YellowV inflatable kayak or SUP. 

The TITAN Yacht Ownership Programme is open to individuals, multiple-owners syndicates and business ownership.

The 62.23m Virginian is an archetypical classic yacht in terms of her exterior lines. Her interior resembled that of the great ships of the early 1900s - including a library with an open fireplace. Yet Virginian , for all her old-world charm, set new standards too. She was the first Feadship to have four full decks, and was fitted with such thoroughly modern attributes as a hydraulic transom hatch, tenders concealed on the aft deck and a separate lounge for her captain.

Motor Yacht

Described as a beautifully archetypal classic yacht by her builders at Feadship, this 62.23 metre (204’2”) superyacht is a vessel of true sophistication with an interior which resembles the great ships of the early 1900s. Virginian, a name befitting of the elegance behind the vessel, includes a library and an open fireplace.

This yacht may represent the finer lifestyle elements of the old world, but her construction in 1990 was ground-breaking in itself as Virginian is the first yacht to have four full decks. With a beam of 10.20 and draught of 3.30 metres, Virginian can accommodate 12 guests in 6 staterooms, featuring a David Easton interior design throughout.

Her modern facilities were cutting-edge at the time of her launch, as Virginian is also the first yacht to be equipped with hydraulic transom hatch and tenders concealed on the aft deck. She also offers a gymnasium, Jacuzzi, al fresco dining on the exterior deck and space for a crew of 18.

A General Description of Motor Yacht VIRGINIAN

VIRGINIAN was previously registered as project/yacht name 765. This 62 metre (204 foot) luxury yacht was manufactured by The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard in 1991. Motor Yacht VIRGINIAN is a notable superyacht. The other bonus of this well featured motor yacht is her helicopter landing facility. The naval architect whom authored this yacht's design details for this ship is De Voogt Naval Architects. The original interior design work is the brain child of David Easton. Luxury yacht VIRGINIAN is a good looking yacht that can accommodate up to 12 passengers on board and has approximately 20 qualified crew.

Build & Naval Architecture with respect to Luxury Yacht VIRGINIAN

De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architecture company involved in the technical nautical plans for VIRGINIAN. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects skillfully collaborated on this project. Interior designer David Easton was charged with the internal internal ambience. In 1991 she was formally launched with accolade in Kaag and post sea trials and detailing was thereafter delivered to the new owner. The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. A spacious proportion is brought about with a maximum beam (width) of 10.21 metres or 33.5 feet. With a 3.29m (10.8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is built with the use of aluminium. In 1999 further refitting and updating was in addition finished.

Engines & Speed On M/Y VIRGINIAN:

The 12V 20/27 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MAN. For propulsion VIRGINIAN has twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship produces 1630 horse power (or 1199 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The sum output for the yacht is accordingly 3260 HP / 2399 KW. As for stabalisers she was built with Vosper. The bow thrusters are Hrp.

Bestowing quarters for a limit of 12 welcome guests staying on board, the VIRGINIAN accommodates everyone in style. This ship utilises circa 20 proficient crewmembers to manage.

Much ado has been made about the celebrity turn out for Tiffany & Co.’s recent Blue Book reveal in LA last week and Pharrell’s recent jewelry collab with the house, but it’s high jewelry pieces are the reals stars of the house. “The caliber of craftsmanship in this collection is better than anybody out there… anybody ,” Victoria Reynolds, Tiffany & Co.’s chief gemologist and vice president of global merchandising told Robb Report at the launch in Beverly Hills. “And I’m not the type of person that throws that stuff around lightly. But it is the finest made collection of high jewelry that exists right now.” That statement shouldn’t be taken lightly from someone who has been at the brand for 33 years. She credits her boss, Tiffany & Co. president Anthony Ledru and the company’s recent owner, Bernard Arnault of LVMH, for the bandwidth and creative freedom to realize a collection of this magnitude. When pressed whether she actually meant an increase in budget, she laughed and said, “I do.” In other words, the team had the means to go above and beyond in terms of gemstones, craftsmanship, and design.

The collection takes its cues from archival Jean Schlumberger pieces, a perennial exercise from the brand, but here it’s taken to a new level. “The foundation that he built for the brand, joining in 1956, was enormous,” Reynolds says. “And think Nathalie’s [Verdeille, chief artistic officer at the company] charge, which she’s done an incredible job with is: He built the palace, she’s opening up the windows, and she’s doing what he wanted to do.” In other words, not even Schlumberger himself could have created the pieces in Tiffany & Co.’s 2024 Blue Book collection. Sure, the LVMH engine behind the brand supercharges resources, but today’s new technology has also helped realize increasingly complex creations. During Schlumberger’s era, jewelry was either first modeled in carved wax or metal, but now 3-D-printing technology has allowed for more trial and era. Reynolds says many of the pieces in the collection were modeled up to four times to tweak the volume, how the stones would be set, and how a piece might sit on the wrist or neck. “When you give it to the jeweler, you’re making a lot of decisions that you know are going to work,” she says. “And there’s still things that the jeweler has latitude to do, because it’s the hand of the person who makes it into a great piece of jewelry, but it had definitely provided us an enormous amount of great design ideas that [Schlumberger] would have loved to do, but couldn’t.”

According to a jeweler on site, one of the more technically challenging pieces to realize was the Iconic suite—pieces fashioned as a cluster of stars in sapphires, diamonds, platinum, yellow gold, and mother-of-pearl. The difficulty was working with three materials of such varying degrees of fragility—from ultra-fragile mother-of-pearl to soft yellow gold and hard platinum. Combining all three was extremely precarious. Naturally, the pièce de résistance, the Wings suite featuring a necklace punctuated with a diamond of over 20 carats, was also incredibly complex. All told, the collection was two years in the making and jewelers were reportedly working right up to the debut to get the pieces ready. Many of the pieces sold on the spot, such as the Arrow necklace in emeralds and diamonds (the bracelet and earrings are pictured here), so, per client request, these are now off-limits to press. But more will be rolling out this summer, so grab these while you can and stay tuned for what’s to come. We’ve had a sneak peek and there are some jaw-dropping pieces to come.
