A bordo de este catamarán navegaréis por el lago Titicaca hasta la Isla del Sol , cuna de la civilización inca . Además, disfrutaréis de un paseo en barca de totora.

Os recogeremos en vuestro hotel de La Paz a las 6:30 horas para dirigirnos por carretera hacia el santuario donde se sitúa la Basílica de la Virgen de Copacabana , un importante centro de peregrinación. 

Desde aquí abordaremos el catamarán para comenzar a navegar por el asombroso lago Titicaca , el lago navegable más alto del mundo. 

Disfrutaremos del paseo y las vistas del lago, mientras nos dirigimos a la Isla del Sol , la más grande del lago, conocida como la cuna del Imperio inca. ¿Sabíais que, según la leyenda, aquí nació Viracocha , el dios Sol?

Visitaremos su jardín y la Fuente del Inca , y después nos dirigiremos al complejo arqueológico Inti Wata , uno de los principales atractivos de la Isla del Sol y de toda Bolivia.

Tendremos la oportunidad de conocer el museo subterráneo del Ekako , además de los centros de medicina tradicional y construcción de balsas de totora que aquí se ubican. También podremos explorar la flora y la fauna de la isla , visitando las terrazas de agricultura y las manadas de camélidos andinos que habitan en el mirador Manco Cápac . 

Para despedirnos de la Isla del Sol, disfrutaremos de un paseo a bordo de una de las típicas balsas de totora, con el que podremos admirar una fantástica panorámica del palacio Pilkokaina . 

Seguidamente, regresaremos al catamarán para disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo buffet mientras surcamos las aguas del lago. Después de comer, llegaremos a tierra firme y os llevaremos en autobús de regreso a vuestros respectivos hoteles. La llegada está prevista para las 19:00 horas.

Si lo preferís podéis escoger finalizar el crucero en catamarán en Puno . El recorrido sería el mismo que el indicado en el apartado anterior, y después del almuerzo os trasladaríamos a Puno en autobús.

The Salt Flats were beyond spectacular and so are the other sites when we drove to the Sololi Desert. We did a customized 5 day package. First of all, the experience was even made more memorable because of the people at Joker Expedition. Jeannette our Tour Guide, our Driver Abel, Jose-the guy behind all these, are amazing and very accommodating. We really felt good about traveling with Jeanette and Abel. The SALT FLATS--it transforms itself to this blinding white to spectacular sunsets. The Lagunas and the flamingos, the rock trees, the mountain range...What is to forget? We stayed at the Palacio de Sal--and I was so tempted to lick the walls :) and Tayka Hotel in Sololi. Jorge coco, a really good guide who made me enjoyed really a lot in this trip, from preparing food for me, taking me to the amazing secret place to visit, setting up camera for my IG-able photos and video(haha), so on and so on. Still a lot! Bicycle on salt flats is my best experience there, never imagine I can do this at this heaven -like place, especially having fun while all the salt coming to my pants and I became a bacon after riding bicycle🤣🤣.(p.s. Make sure to put enough sun cream to avoid you became a overburn bacon🤣) Although I dont speak Spain and he only speak less English, he tried the best to explain everything to me. We had someone meet us at the airport when we flew in from the USA. Joker Expedition also booked our flights to and from La Paz to the Salt Flats. We had an English-speaking guide for the two days we were in La Paz including a tour of Lake Titicaca, We had an English speaking guide take us around the Salar de Uyuni. We thought we go directly to the salt flats, however we were extremely positively surprised; without knowing we got in the Boutique Atipax Hotel a small but lovely and excellent breakfast. After we were told that we free of charge are allowed to use a hotel room to sleep and shower, the bed was so comfortable! At 10.30 am Ronald picked us up with Julia our tour guide. Julia was amazing, very friendly and organized. The day at the salt flats was amazing! I have been in so many countries but the Joker Expedition team and Julia really made my memories to beautiful Bolivia unforgettable. Highly recommended and worth every cent! Gran crucero y visita a la Isla del Sol. Varias bonificaciones fueron inesperadas, como una gran visita al museo en la Isla del Sol. Personal súper amable y servicial. FYI: Yo no estaba al tanto de las tasas para los ciudadanos de EE.UU. para mí, 160 para recibir un pasaporte boliviano. Además, asegúrese de que el personal sabe que le llevará de vuelta a Puno – el destino por defecto para este tour es La Paz, Bolivia.

Este tour fue muy caro para lo que realmente ocurrió. Tuvimos un viaje de tres horas a Copacabana, Bolivia. el único tour real fue de una iglesia allí. No me interesó el tour, y aunque lo hice, era muy alérgico a las flores de la iglesia. La parte del catamarán de nuestra excursión llegó tarde, el barco no estaba allí. Nuestro «tour» por el mercado fue un paseo rápido por un par de calles, sin tiempo para parar y comprar. El catamarán era encantador, y el servicio llegó a ser muy bueno. Disfruté de lo poco que vi de la Isla del Sol. Recomendaría cambiar el itinerario de esta excursión. Me saltaría el barco de caña, que la mayoría de nuestro grupo ya había hecho en Uros, y en su lugar haría tiempo para recorrer realmente el Templo del Sol. No fue culpa del tour que el día que fuimos a Bolivia, había una huelga en Bolivia. Nos hizo llegar un par de horas tarde. (un día de 14 horas) Recomiendo también, que Viator ofrezca la opción que algunos otros huéspedes eligieron, de quedarse en el catamarán durante la noche para poder ver la Isla del Sol completamente. Me hubiera encantado hacer eso, y creo que esta es la razón principal por la que solo le doy 3 estrellas. No se ofrecen todas las opciones. Diciendo todo esto, estoy agradecido de haber tenido la oportunidad de llegar a la Isla del Sol, con ayuda en la frontera.
