Come aboard the Bali for a private luxury catamaran experience . This 41-foot beauty was built in Tunisia , and Captain Matteo and his crew sailed it through the Caribbean and the Panama Canal to bring it to its home here at the Flamingo Marina . It features four spacious bedroom cabins, four bathrooms, a full kitchen, and arguably one of the most comfortable nautical experiences in our area . 

The Bali can accommodate groups of up to 40 people.

You can book the Bali for a morning tour (8:00 – 12:00), or a sunset tour (1:00 – 6:00). You can also book the Bali for a full day tour (7 hours) . Once we are underway, your captain and crew will be on the lookout for dolphins, sea turtles, jumping manta rays and whales . You will sail north for a view of the Las Catalinas islands . On a clear day, you may be able to spot 3 of Costa Rica’s volcanoes! 

The captain will then choose the perfect spot for snorkeling (gear provided), and paddle boarding while the crew prepares a delicious lunch which may include Mahi Mahi or Chicken wraps, snacks, signature drinks and an open bar . For special occasions, the crew can prepare an Italian menu including bruschetta, eggplant caprese, tuna carpaccio and freshly made pasta . 

Pick up and drop off is at the beautiful Flamingo Marina.

With four spacious bedroom cabins complete with queen-size beds, four bathrooms and a full kitchen, the Bali boasts the most comfortable nautical experience in all of Guanacaste. We offer private tours daily to explore our coastlines.

Tour times and prices

Morning tour, 8 a.m. to noon: $1,500 Sunset tour, 1 to 6 p.m.: $1,900 Full-day tour, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.: $3,000

Cancellations

The safety of our guests and crew is first and foremost. While we don’t cancel when it rains, if we determine that the weather will prohibit a safe tour, the trip will be canceled, your tour will be refunded in full and we will reschedule.

This house is the newest addition to our small retreat. It is situated in the midst of the trees and jungle. We also call it our gate watchers house as it is closest to our entrance.

Casa Suardika

Combining the traditional Balinese wooden house structure with modern features, Casa Suardika represents a unique balance of simplicity and luxury. It blends perfectly into the Costa Rican tropical environment and exemplifies anecological way of life. This home features a master bedroom with a king-size bedand a second bedroom with space for 3.

Aptly named ‘The House of The Goddess’, Casa Dewi is the perfect privatehome, boasting a large terrace and outdoor bathroom amenities to truly becomeone with the surrounding jungle. This authentic Balinese home has an old woodcarved centre reminiscent of the centuries old royalty that resided beneath it.

Casa Pelangi

Nestled beside a young coffee plantation, Casa Pelangi is a 120 year old homewith a beautiful hand carved teak entrance and large terrace to enjoy thespectacular jungle view. If you choose to stay here, you will not be disappointed!
