The 19m/62ft sailing yacht SUENO was built by ICE Yachts in 2015. Part of the ICE 62 range, her naval architecture is designed by Felci Yacht and she is constructed from a carbon composite hull to ensure excellent speed and performance while racing or sailing over long distances. Her interior and exterior styling comes courtesy of Umberto Felici and the accommodation provides three cabins to sleep six guests and a professional crew of two for a more personal experience while on board.

Above deck, the central cockpit provides an area for six guests to relax outdoors and dine alfresco in the sunshine. The helm station is positioned to the aft and guests have access to the water from the stern. When at anchor, there is plenty of room along the foredeck for sunbathing and exercise such as yoga.

Below deck, the interiors are finished in mid-toned wooden panelling, smooth rounded surfaces and fabrics in pale blue and cream for a contemporary take on timeless styling.

Guests have a sizable lounge that places a sofa on the starboard wall, and U-shaped sofa with a raised table on the port side of the room with a TV integrated into the wall for entertainment during transit.

To the aft, there is a double cabin and a twin cabin that both have en-suite facilities, and the Master suite in the bow also has its own private bathroom with an adjacent shower.

LOS SUEÑOS MARINA SERVICES

The Los Sueños Marina was the first government approved marina operating in Costa Rica. With 200 wet slips, 166 dry slips, fuel dock, and full-time staff the Los Sueños marina is the ultimate full service port for many luxury sport fishing boats and luxury yachts. Its wet slips accommodate vessels from 30 to 180 feet in length, while the dry storage spaces accommodate vessels under 41 feet in length.

MARINA REQUIREMENTS

We would like to make you aware of some important legal information related to boating and fishing in Costa Rica to make your stay with us as easy and enjoyable as possible. Following you will find important information concerning your entrance into Costa Rican waters and Los Sueños Marina.

INITIAL ENTRY INTO COSTA RICA

Upon your initial entry into the country, you will receive a Temporary Permit for your boat, called the Certificado de Importación Temporal from the Ministry of Finance and Customs (in Spanish, Ministerio de Hacienda y Aduana). This permit is valid for up to three months and can not be renewed. Once the permit has expired, you will need to leave the country, as Customs will not make any exceptions for renewal.

If you are planning to keep your boat in Costa Rica for more than three months, the vessel must apply for an extended cruising permit from the Department of Transportation Maritime Division MOPT (in Spanish, Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes MOPT). Further details can be provided by contacting the Marina office.

As the first a government-sanctioned Marina, a slip use agreement with Los Sueños Marina will allow you to apply for an extended cruising permit. If you are just arriving to our Country, it is important for you to know as a government-sanctioned Marina; Los Sueños Marina is also considered an official port of entry; however you must contact an agent in advance (48 hours min) in order to coordinate an official visit by the corresponding government authorities.

Local law prohibits non-Costa Rican flagged boats from operating as commercial charters. Please be aware that government authorities are very strict in this regard, and officials make regular inspections of Los Sueños Marina. Foreign vessels found chartering could be impounded.

DRY STORAGE

The Los Sueños dry storage facility can accommodate vessels of up to 41 feet in length, perfect for storing jet skis and small recreational boats.

The Marina has two lift trucks; one with a 10-ton capacity and another with a 20-ton capacity. Our range extends from –15 feet for direct retrieval from the water to +40 feet for secure placement of boats in the two-storey dry storage structure that houses 166 vessels in total.

RATE SCHEDULE & CONDITIONS:

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

The Los Sueños fireboat, El Extinguidor, can respond to an emergency anywhere in the Marina within 3.5 minutes. The vessel’s pump engine is capable of dispersing 750 gallons of water per minute at 150 pounds per square inch, and also functions as an emergency dewatering pump for boats in distress.

When required, the Los Sueños Emergency Care Center can dispatch a state-of-the art ambulance with trained paramedics to attend to medical emergencies on the docks and on board vessels.

FUEL SERVICE

The Los Sueños fuel station is equipped with state-of-the-art technology in fuel dispersion, featuring a 65-gallon per minute pumping system for efficiency and speed. All fuel passes through a centrifuge cleaning process to ensure the highest percentage of purity possible, making it the cleanest fuel available in Costa Rica.

The fuel station also handles oil changes, extractions and bulk servicing of all lubricants, as well as complimentary pump-out services for sanitary tanks.

Jeff Bezos se refugia de la DANA en Menorca en su impresionante yate

La embarcación bautizada con el nombre de 'koru' tiene más de 127 metros de eslora y está valorado en 500 millones de euros.

La DANA que está azotando estos días a nuestro país se está cebando con el Levante y el noreste peninsular, pero también con Baleares.  Sigue poniendo en jaque a las Islas tras las incidencias registradas estos días por fuertes vientos y lluvias. El temporal ha provocado que numerosas embarcaciones queden varadas en Ibiza y Formentera. Por ello, son muchos los que han decidido desplazarse a Menorca para ponerse a salvo como  J eff Bezos, que se encuentra en el citado lugar con su impresionante yate. 

Tal y como informa el diario Menorca, e l empresario y multimillonario  ha optado por atracar en la isla, al igual que numerosos rostros conocidos, hasta que la DANA finalice. Ha fondeado en la costa sur, concretamente  frente a Cap d’en Font, donde su impresionante barco, el cual fue bautizado com o 'Koru', que, traducido del maorí, significa “nuevos comienzos”,  ha acaparado todas las miradas. Y no es para menos, porque el yate está valorado en más de 500 millones de euros. 

Según informan los medios locales, el fundador de Amazon llegó a la isla en avión privado y desde el miércoles se encuentra en su espectacular velero, el cual estrenó hace un año y es probable que esté acompañado por su pareja, Lauren Sánchez. El 'Koru' fue construido en los astilleros Oceanco, en los Países Bajos y su arboladura de tres mástiles con aparejo de goleta mide 70 metros y 127 metros de eslora. Unas dimensiones que le convierten en el segundo barco más grande a nivel mundial, detrás del 'Sailing Yacht A', de 143 metros y propiedad del multimillonario ruso Andrey Melnichenk.

Jeff Bezos está disfrutando de un maravilloso. Hace solo unos días estuvo junto a su pareja, Lauren Sánchez, Katy Parry y Orlando Bloom en Cerdeña. De hecho, no son las primeras vacaciones de los cuatro juntos, el año pasado estuvieron en Croacia. La cantante y el actor protagonizaron un atrevido vídeo en el que saltan al vacío desde un helicóptero. Pero no fue su único salto,  porque también se lanzaron  desde el helicóptero pilotado por Lauren Sánchez -prometida de Jeff Bezos- d esde mucho más alto y en paracaídas. 

Una embarcación que Jeff Bezos estrenó el año pasado también en las aguas de la bahía de Mallorca, cumpliendo así su sueño de construir su propio barco. Dentro de él, caben 40 miembros de tripulación, dos grandes cubiertas, helipuerto, motos de agua, sala de cine, jacuzzis y una piscina para disfrute de los 18 invitados que se pueden alojar como máximo.
