We’ve been sailing this area for 20 years, and we will take you to beautiful Caribbean beaches that are only accessible by sea, no road can get you here! We will explore two very different spots: Playa Drake, a Caribbean beach with spectacular snorkelling spots, and Venas Azules a turquoise lagoon of mangroves. Both places are part of the Portobelo National Park, where nature is still virgin and a lot of species are living here. If selected, you will be picked up from the comforts of your hotel, and dropped off to Portobelo, a historic port that was built by the Spanish in 1597 to protect the town and its treasures from Pirates' attacks. During our tour, you will get the chance to swim, do paddle-boarding, kayaking, or also just to relax on the catamaran or the beach. We will navigate from Portobelo to our destinations on catamaran, and when enough wind, we will open up the sails. If you’re a traveler looking for unique spots off the beaten path and love boating, this is your trip!

We’ve been sailing this area for 20 years, and we will take you to beautiful Caribbean beaches that are only accessible by sea, no road can get you here! We will explore two very different spots: Playa Drake, a Caribbean beach with spectacular snorkelling spots, and Venas Azules a turquoise lagoon of mangroves. You get 5 minutes to see them and it’s not that exciting. The boat was cool and fun. The captain and second hand were great and helpful. The first stop was cool. Nothing fancy or exotic. Just get to swim in clear water and hangout. The second stop wasn’t that great. It consisted of a rocky beach and vendors making you pay for the chairs. Better to just swim and hang on the net in the boat and relax. The food was good and he worked on it for awhile and brings it to you. Then it’s back to the dock. All in all it’s kind of what you expect for the area. It’s nothing crazy cool but we did have a good time. Definitely bring your own disposable cooler with drinks and snacks. The lunches were hot tasty- you had your choice of entree. We went swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. The beach we went to had nice soft sand and the coral was the best I’ve seen in the Caribbean. Lots of color and fish to see. I even got some cool rocks and seashells. Juan was so kind and helpful. I also commend the booking agent who contacted me and answered all my questions via email. Had about 2.5 hour drive to Caribbean Coast, which was windy and hilly, but not too bad. We hopped in a Panga speed boat and took that down a river and out into the ocean. There are numerous small islands scattered around and we made a stop and dropped off some boat-mates. Then we got taken to a sail boat that our guide had arranged for us. We had lovely breakfast, took a small boat to tiny island, swam, relaxed, enjoyed the scenery, which was pristine. A true natural paradise kept up by the Indians that preserve the land. It was relaxed. We came back to the sail boat, had a phenomenal lunch. And then went sailing for a few hours. Super fun. Wish we had more time. Panga picked us up at 3 and we were back In Panama City by 6. Everyone was wonderful and helpful in coordinating a great time. hats off to Jenny who organized and Diego the captain. They arranged our hotel transportation to and from the catamaran, included in the cost. The boat was clean and our hosts were friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing time snorkeling at San Blas and chilling on the beach for a couple hours. You can bring your own beer, refreshments and snacks to enjoy on the boat and they cooked us an amazing shrimp and rice dish for lunch. It was one of our top highlights visiting Panama. Thank you! He was so offensive in the way that he treated us that we opted not to complete the tour and return to Portobelo by hiring a different boat at our expense. It was a horrible experience. 14 people group, we fully paid 48 hour before the trip. The night before the trip, Jenny contacted us saying the speaker was not working and we accepted a small one (we all know good music is a must). The trip day when we all 14 with a good mood, expecting to have a great trip, 30 minutes before to arrive “Portobello” (after 1 hour from Panama City) she contacted us again saying the Yatch bathroom was not working!!! Come on guys!!! No bathroom??? It was a full day trip, drinks, food… we tried to agree for a discount or a additional solution and she offered $4 discount per person and change the stops to have a public bathroom close in a different Island. This was a BIG change in our trip. We discussed internally with the 14 people group and Jenny started pushing to have an answer in 5 minutes and with a very rude attitude. So, because her attitude, we decided to cancel the trip and she refund us. The only good point was the transportation from Panama City to Portobello and viceversa, the driver was very friendly. Obviously was a external contractor and she asked a picture of us when back to the City, to paid the transportation contractor. Jenny, customer service is not your best skill. The snorkling was SO GOOD though so my friend and I spent our whole time doing that. We got lucky that it was only us and another couple since we were there during a pretty calm time. We’ve been sailing this area for 20 years, and we will take you to beautiful Caribbean beaches that are only accessible by sea, no road can get you here! We will explore two very different spots: Playa Drake, a Caribbean beach with spectacular snorkelling spots, and Venas Azules a turquoise lagoon of mangroves. Both places are part of the Portobelo National Park, where nature is still virgin and a lot of species are living here. If selected, you will be picked up from the comforts of your hotel, and dropped off to Portobelo, a historic port that was built by the Spanish in 1597 to protect the town and its treasures from Pirates' attacks. During our tour, you will get the chance to swim, do paddle-boarding, kayaking, or also just to relax on the catamaran or the beach. Experience a great combination of sailing aboard one of the most beautiful boats in the Caribbean, a white-sand beach, and extraordinary snorkeling.

Hop aboard a spacious 65-foot catamaran and head out to sea. You'll stop to snorkel over an underwater coral reef paradise teeming with bright tropical fish.

After snorkeling, sip the beverage of your choice as you sail along the coast to a beautiful private beach . Sink your toes into the soft, white sand, enjoy a swim , relax on a float, or discover the treasures of the island.

Minimum age is 6 years. Maximum age is 70 years. Snorkel, mask, fins, safety vest, and snorkeling instruction are provided. You may have to enter the water and wade to access the beach. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Guests with a heart or respiratory condition, epilepsy, or diabetes are not allowed to participate. Waiver must be signed, and medical conditions disclosed. Participants must climb a ladder to reboard the boat after snorkeling or beach time.

It was an amazing time! The schedule of the excursion is great. I loved the staff on the catamaran. The snorkeling was a great first event and a nice way to see both islands. Loved the lunch and swim in Nevis. It was a truly relaxing activity. It was the first time I felt like I was on vacation.

We've gone on charter with Leeward before and this trip was just as fun. The crew is accommodating without being pushy. The food and beach spot are very nice and right down from Sunshine's, Turtle Time or Four Seasons, which we took advantage of.
