Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Captain Tom and his wife Denise have been sailing for over two decades.   Over the course of the last three years they have sailed over 4,000 nm along the east coast of US and the Caribbean Sea.  Tom holds a USCG OUPV Captain's License.  Prior to their most recent adventure, Tom was a Research Physicist and his wife a Public Relations Manager.  Bow and Harry our French Hounds server at the pleasure of our guest or vacation at a nearby pet resort during charters.

The Lisa Lynn is a beautiful 43′ Luxury Charter Boat with 4 staterooms and 2 baths. Lisa Lynn can comfortably host up to 12, and sleep up to 6 passengers. This is the perfect boat to take on a private luxury snorkeling trip to one of our amazing reefs, or a sunset cruise to entertain friends and family. The yacht is available for custom charters, including a variety of Sunset & Day Cruises and Multi-day Trips to the islands. The Lisa Lynn is also available as a stay-aboard vacation rental boat if you’re looking for a new adventure. We can have the boat stocked with preferred food and drinks by one of our local caterers or you can bring your own provisions. We provide cooler and fridge space, and bottled waters. Paddleboards, inflatable dock, snorkel gear, and sno cone machine provided on all day trips (not on sunset cruises).

6 passengers or less:, (fuel, tax, and crew is included, 3% fee on credit cards), multi-day: call for pricing, stay at the dock as a hotel: $300 a night for up to 2 people, $50 per person extra per night after 2 people, plus tax. 6 people max. $175 cleaning fee. , 7-12 passengers:, (bareboat rental with crew contact list ), *boat fee includes fuel and tax, we collect boat fee, 3% fee on credit cards, *crew fee is total for captain and mate, you pay them directly, 2hrs- $950 (boat fee $650, crew $300), 3hrs- $1195 (boat fee $795, crew $400), 4hrs- $1595 (boat fee $1095, crew $500), 6hrs- $2095 (boat fee $1395, crew $700), 8hrs- $2445 (boat fee $1595, crew $850).

(All drivers of the vessel must hold a captain’s license, have logged local experience, and have been trained by our staff on the operation of the vessel. All drivers on our approved list have met these requirements. We will provide a crew list and crew availability after reserving the vessel. Our captain Hunter was great very knowledgeable and gave good suggestions on what to do and where to go. We were able to see hundreds of dolphins and really enjoyed ourselves.

U.S. Border Patrol spots 118 migrants fleeing Haiti in a boat off Florida

Border Patrol agents intercepted more than 100 Haitian migrants off Key West, Florida, on Wednesday as they tried to enter the U.S., Coast Guard officials said.

The 118 migrants were spotted on a boat in the Florida waters around 4 a.m. and were given medical examinations, interviewed and processed, Border Patrol said.

“I can confirm there was a recent migrant landing in the vicinity of the Key West Nature Preserve,” Coast Guard Petty Officer 3rd Class Nicholas Strasburg said Wednesday.

The migrants were intercepted as a humanitarian crisis grips Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince, where violent gangs have taken over the streets, forcing residents to starve and flee as questions remain about whether it can govern itself.

In March, Haiti’s unpopular prime minister, Ariel Henry, agreed to resign after he failed to hold elections on multiple occasions, which he attributed to logistical problems or violent protests aimed at him. Henry had also announced that the next election would be postponed until next year.

Tensions rose further when the idea of a transitional government that would not be brokered by Haitians and other Caribbean countries but by outsiders emerged, humanitarian workers and residents have said.

Haiti’s transition council eventually took hold, cycling through multiple interim prime ministers. Garry Conille currently fills that role.

However, Haiti is still marred by dangerous gangs and violence as the transition council searches for a permanent leader, a Cabinet, a provisional electoral council and an ensuing vote.

“The political unrest and rampant violence in Haiti have created the conditions for another mass migration surge that is directly impacting South Florida,” Rep. Carlos Gimenez, R-Fla., said in a statement Wednesday. “The security of our community is at risk of another mass migration event from Haiti due to the rampant gang violence and the mass release of thousands of violent criminals from the country’s jails.”

In March, Gov. Ron DeSantis assigned more than 250 additional law enforcement officers and soldiers to patrol the waters and prevent a wave of Haitian migrants.

On Wednesday, an image from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office showed dozens of migrants sitting down on the side of a road. Their medical conditions weren’t immediately known, NBC South Florida reported .

The migrants were medically cleared and transferred to Border Patrol stations, where they will be interviewed and processed, said Samuel Briggs II, the Border Patrol’s acting chief patrol agent in Miami.

The Florida Immigrant Coalition called on state and federal officials Wednesday to provide humane treatment and support to the migrants.

This week, “Haitian migrants, including children, endured a perilous seven day journey at sea, arriving off Key West in a sailboat, seeking safety and security, and highlighting the growing violence and humanitarian crisis in Haiti,” the coalition said in a statement. 

The group said that Haitians are fleeing the country because of dangerous living conditions and that gang violence has led to more crime against women and girls, worsened food insecurity and increased health concerns.

15 cuban migrants come ashore in key west.

KEY WEST, Fla. – Fifteen people from Cuba were taken into custody overnight by the U.S. Border Patrol after coming ashore in Key West, authorities confirmed Monday morning.

According to Key West police, the migrants made landfall at the seawall on South Roosevelt Boulevard.

Police said Border Patrol agents responded to the scene to take custody of the migrants.

None of the migrants were injured, authorities confirmed.

No other details were immediately released.

Monday’s incident comes less than a week after more than 120 migrants arrived in Key West.

More than 100 Haitian migrants land in Key West after spending 7 days at sea

A group of more than 100 migrants from Haiti arrived off Key West in a sailboat early Wednesday morning, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The boat landed about 100 yards off the 1800 Atlantic condominiums near Higgs Beach around 3:40 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office. About 117 people — 87 males and 30 females, including some children — were on the vessel, according to a dispatch provided to the Miami Herald by the agency.

One child and one adult were taken to Lower Keys Medical Center to be treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the dispatch.

The people told authorities that they were at sea for seven days, according to the sheriff’s office.

All of the people were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol. Adam Hoffner, assistant chief patrol agent for the Border Patrol’s Miami sector, told the Herald the people will be taken to the agency’s facilities in Marathon, in the Middle Keys, and Dania Beach, in Broward County.

U.S. authorities have not indicated where the sailboat departed from, but locals in northwest Haiti said it launched from the village of LaVallée on Île de Latortue, an island off their coast.

While migrant landings by people fleeing Cuba are a frequent occurrence in the Keys, boats traversing to the island chain from Haiti are much less common.

Arrivals from Cuba are usually smaller groups on makeshift boats. Typically, people coming from Haiti are on overloaded vessels like the one that came Wednesday.

The last arrival  from Haiti to the Keys  was in February 2023, when 114 people came ashore in the small Upper Keys community of Tavernier.

Wednesday’s landing comes amid an ongoing executive order by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued in January 2023 that sent an influx of state law enforcement officers and National Guard soldiers to help patrol the seas and skies for incoming migrants.

The order was in response to a surge in migrant arrivals from Cuba and Haiti that taxed Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Keys-assigned Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers who were usually the first to respond to the landings, which were happening sometimes several times per day between late 2022 and early 2023.

Landings have dwindled since then, but boats do still get through — as evidenced by Wednesday’s arrival.

Since March, the DeSantis administration had been anticipating an exodus from Haiti to the shores of South Florida because of ongoing gang violence that has plagued the country.

Until Wednesday, however, that had not materialized.

Additionally, it has been the violence and gang control within the country that has prevented more people from leaving. That’s because getting from Port-au-Prince to Haiti’s northwest coast is a highly treacherous journey and requires entering several gang territories.

The violence in Haiti has gotten so severe that armed gangs now control more than 80% of the country’s capital, Port-au-Prince.

On Tuesday, a group of 200 elite anti-terrorist forces and support staff from Kenya arrived in Haiti as part of a multi-international security mission to regain control of the situation.

But while the number of Haitians arriving by sea to South Florida’s shores had tapered off, that has not been the case for the Turks and Caicos — a popular destination for those leaving from the north coast of Haiti and opting not to take the longer, riskier voyage to the United States.

Concerns about a flood of Haitian migrants inundating the island chain led the British government to also beef up maritime patrols, along with the Bahamas and U.S. Coast Guard.

Last year, the overseas British archipelago logged 4,016 undocumented Haitians, according to government statistics obtained by the Herald. This year alone, 865 Haitians have arrived on the island with a population of roughly 40,000 inhabitants.

Immigration rights advocates on Wednesday called on both the DeSantis and Biden administrations to provide humane treatment and support to the arriving Haitian migrants. They noted that chaos continues to unfold in Haiti, driving desperate people to flee, even as a group of specialized police from Kenya begin leading a Multinational Security Support mission to help police tackle ruthless armed gangs.

They also asked the Department of Homeland Security to re-designate Temporary Protected Status for Haiti in order to prevent Haitians already in the U.S. from being deported.

The Florida Immigrant Coalition said it “opposes any measure that prevents individuals from applying for asylum, or other protections, and being deported back to Haiti.”

“We must focus on providing immediate assistance and ensuring the safety and well-being of those arriving on our shores. These are people fleeing unimaginable violence and deprivation. They need our help, not further displacement,” said Yareliz Mendez-Zamora, federal campaign lead at FLIC.

Brookfield Buys Starwood’s West Palm Rental in $108M Deal

Two real estate heavyweights have struck a deal to trade a multifamily property near West Palm Beach, Fla., property records show.

Barry Sternlicht ’s Starwood Capital Group sold the Turtle Cove apartment complex for $107.5 million to Brookfield Properties , one of the nation’s largest real estate investors. 

The 404,222-square-foot property houses 444 units across 26 buildings, some of which sit on the edge of a lake, at 825 Cotton Bay Drive E , just west of the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach . 

Starwood purchased the complex, which sits on 37 acres, for $61.5 million in 2016, according to property records. 

Representatives for Brookfield and Starwood did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The purchase is the latest multifamily transaction to close in South Florida. Last week, Pantzer Properties paid $139.2 million for a rental property in Doral. In May, Ares Management paid $139.7 million for a 284-unit property in Boca Raton.

While both sales are South Florida’s largest multifamily deals so far this year, they’re still a far cry from the height of the pandemic, when droves of Northerners relocated to Florida and Hines paid $430 million for the Gables Station development, marking the most sizable deal in 2023.
