Jongert's 47m Project Revolution on track for delivery in 2025
Construction on the 47.4-metre Project Revolution is continuing at Dutch yard Jongert with delivery scheduled for 2025. Currently being built on speculation, the Vripack -designed project is for sale with Alex Krykanyuk at Fraser .
The yacht's engineering is complete, the steel has been cut, and the keel is laid. Construction initially began in 2018 but was paused when the client left the project. "I’ve picked up on this project during one of my visits to Jongert in Holland," explained Krykanyuk. "I saw big potential."
He added that: "The original specification, GA and much of the interior has been changed to make this project more versatile and suitable to modern buyers."
Marnix J. Hoekstra, creative director at Vripack, has said that Revolution will have an exceptional technical backbone, allowing her new owner to cruise safely and reliably across the planet. Her styling draws inspiration from the 2015 yacht concept Flow, which was inspired by 3D printing with transparent wing stations on the main deck.
On board, Revolution will offer accommodation for 10 guests and 11 crew, and she will be fitted with diesel-electric propulsion that promises to reduce noise and vibrations. A range of 4,500 nautical miles is expected, with a cruising speed of 11 knots and maximum speed of 13.5 knots.
According to Krykanyuk, Project Revolution would be ideal for a "forward-thinking, modern, adventurous client."
