Where is the Yachtsman Steakhouse located?

Yachtsman Steakhouse, which features high-grade steaks, fresh seafood, free-range chicken and more, is located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort at Walt Disney World . 

Disney’s Yacht Club is located inside the EPCOT area, near Disney’s Boardwalk and Disney’s Beach Club. In case you aren’t familiar, Disney describes this resort as:

Delight in the formal grace of a grand New England-style yacht club at this lakeside hotel. Relax in the inviting elegance of a plush lobby replete with nautical touches, explore the whimsical Stormalong Bay and rent a variety of watercraft from Bayside Marina. Sharing many amenities with its pastel-toned sister, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is walking distance to Epcot and a convenient boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

How to get to the Yachtsman Steakhouse

If you are staying on property, there are a few different transportation options you can take in order to get to Yachtsman Steakhouse.

If you are staying at any of the EPCOT resorts — including Disney’s Yacht Club, Disney’s Beach Club , Disney’s Boardwalk , Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, or Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel — you can either walk to Disney’s Yacht Club by following the path around the lake, or you can opt to take the friendship boat. This also goes for if you are visiting the EPCOT theme park for the day, you can either walk over to Disney’s Yacht Club or take the friendship boat. Be sure to use the park exit near World Showcase and not the main entrance.

If you are staying at any of the other Walt Disney World hotels on property, you can either take a complimentary bus to one of the theme parks (or to Disney Springs) and catch a bus to Disney’s Yacht Club from there.

If you are visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the day and want to get to Yachtsman Steakhouse from the theme park, you can take the friendship boats directly to Disney’s Yacht Club by utilizing the launch outside of the park entrance.

If you are visiting one of the other theme parks, either Magic Kingdom or Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can take a bus directly to Disney’s Yacht Club.

And lastly, if you opted, you could also use the Lyft app to call for a car to take you directly there, however, this is not complimentary, and depending on where you are located on the Disney World property, it can cost you upwards of a few dollars. Theming of the Yachtsman Steakhouse

Yachtsman Steakhouse is a fine dining restaurant, featuring signature American cuisine, including steak and seafood. The atmosphere is elegant with “knotty-pine beams” and “nautical touches” in the dining room.

How is the Yachtsman Steakhouse’s dining room decorated?

The dining room invites Guests in with its simple and rustic yet elegant atmosphere. Yachtsman Steakhouse is not decorated “over the top” and instead has simple lanterns that light up the room, wooden chairs that aim for that rustic feel, and beautiful wall decor, inviting couples for a perfect date night.

However, just because this is a fine dining restaurant does not mean children are not welcome. In fact, the Yachtsman Steakhouse has an entire kids menu — making this restaurant great for families, couples, and kids of all ages.

What is the dress code for the Yachtsman Steakhouse?

Guests are expected to follow the dress code requirements for Signature dining. The official Disney World website reads:

Guests are asked to adhere to the minimum dress code requirements at this Signature Dining experience. Dressier attire is also welcome. Please explore the minimum dress code requirements: Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional. Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. If you are looking to dive into a premium beef entree, Guests tend to order the 12-oz Prime New York Strip Steak with peppercorn-brandy sauce or the 14-oz Roasted Prime Rib with Horseradish Cream. In regards to the favorite savory side dish, Guests absolutely love the Truffle Macaroni & Cheese .

Looking for a fresh seafood dish? We highly recommend the Whole Main Lobster!

Wonderful World of Wine at Yachtsman Steakhouse

What goes perfectly with steak or seafood at a fine dining restaurant? Why, a glass of wine, of course! The Yachtsman Steakhouse is also known for its wide selection of fine wine, which Disney describes as :

Wine-lovers, rejoice! Sip and swirl your way through some of the world’s most renowned wine-growing regions—no passport required. The Yachtsman Steakhouse invites Guests to explore the wonderful world of wine every second Wednesday of the month. Sample the liquid legacies of some of the finest appellations and vineyards throughout California, Italy, France, Chile, Australia and more—and learn about their flavor profiles, winemaking techniques, and soil and climate conditions. This engaging class also includes a small tasting plate paired to go with the selected wine offerings. The cost is $45 per person and the wine tasting begins at 3 PM on the second Wednesday of each month. Guests interested in attending can call (407) 824-1391. All Attendees must be 21 or over with valid ID; no discounts accepted.

How do you make a reservation for the Yachtsman Steakhouse?

To make a reservation, you can book online at the  official Walt Disney World website or by calling (407) 939-3463. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.

Advance reservations are highly recommended . All Guests may make advance reservations for dining and other experiences up to 60 days in advance. In addition, Walt Disney World Resort Guests staying at a hotel on property can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay, up to 10 days!

What kind of Disney dining plans are accepted at Yachtsman Steakhouse?

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, Yachtsman Steakhouse typically uses two table service credits. Every year, the credits are subject to change for the Disney Dining Plan so it is always good to check with the official Walt Disney World website  before visiting for the most up-to-date information.

That is the question my husband and children ask when we talk about our experience at the Yachtsman. Nothing about this restaurant is anything above average. We eat out a lot and know excellence in food and service. This restaurant does not meet those standards. When we are paying top dollar for food we expect top-dollar in service, atmosphere and food. This restaurant falls short. We arrived on time for our reservation. Our table was not ready, so we were given a pager and went to the bar area-which was very nice looking, unfortunately we had a surly waitress. Another oddity was we couldn't just carry our bar tab over to the table, we had to settle up with the surly one before getting our table. We dressed for dinner as the restaurant recommended. As others have said, there is NO dress code here-tank tops, gym shorts, flip flops, you name it, you saw it. The server we had was Tigger after four energy drinks. I'm not kidding-she was super hyper and talked incessantly all about herself and her family. Our appetizers were okay and the bread was delicious but then there was an extremely LONG wait for our meals. It seems there was a mess up in the kitchen, that happens sometimes, so it wouldn't have been a big deal except that the steaks everyone ordered were not very good. They were just average. The steaks just weren't 40 dollar steaks. Medium well was medium rare. Medium was rare. The fish was very salty and just not tasty. Everyone in our party left at least half of their meal on their plate. Overall, the meal wasn't what we would expect for the prices. In the end, though, the server made the experience memorable. She kept trying to flirt with and pick up my husband so much so that the kids noticed and that is what they are talking about since returning from their Disney vacation. We would not eat here again and will tell everyone to go to the Flying Fish Cafe for true top-notch service, atmosphere and food.

We had the fortune of eating here during a very busy Disney week. We arrived right on schedule for our reservation and were ushered in within 5 minutes. The service from beginning to end was impeccable. My husband ordered tomatoes caprese and I ordered the caeser salad as appetizers. Both were wonderful, the tomotoes tasted like they had been picked fresh out of our garden in August. I had the filet for main course. It was" melt in your mouth" divine. Hubby had the porterhouse which was a carnivore's delight. We both had the potatoes au gratin, fabulous!!! The desserts and bread were as great as everything else. We will be sure to return next time we are at Disney. We are from Chicago area, we know what great steak tastes like, this is definitely it Side note: The Yach Club resort looks amazing!!!!

We eat at the Yachtsman several times a year, but will not eat there unless David is able to be our waiter. He is the perfect mix of professionalism and friendliness. We have oft commented that if he goes to a different restuarant at WDW to work, we will follow him there. Overall the food is better than the other upscale restaurants at WDW, and the steaks are particularly better than Shula's. We agree with one reviewer that the dress code is not adhered to, as it should be, and an abundance of over-tired children can ruin the ambience. Note to parents: if you have spent the day at a theme park, grab a fast bite and let your kids go to bed; don't bring them to this special restaurant and force us to either watch them whine and cry, or fall asleep in their mashed potatoes.

Last December on our 13th trip to Disney World we tried the Yachtman's Steakhouse for the very first time. I couldn't believe we had been to Disney 12 previous times and never ate here. The steak was absolutely the BEST!! We were on the meal plan and actually rearranged previous reservations so we could eat at the Yachtman's twice during our week's vacation. I quickly read over some of the other reviews stating the steak was ok...are these people crazy?? Especially the one who compared it to the Golden Correl or Western Sizzlin...thats like comparing a chevette to a corvette...not even close. On both visits we had outstanding service and the most delicious, tender, perfectly done steaks ever. We will never visit Disney again without going to the Yachtmans.

Moscow is changing for the better!

This is the first thought that comes to mind when you look at the new building of the MODUS restaurant project in the historic lane of the Plyushchikhi district. A three-story mansion of majestic appearance, built in the neoclassical style, is truly impressive. Through the stained-glass Windows, the hall is flooded with sunlight during the day, inviting for Breakfast, and in the evening, the glow of crystal chandeliers in the Windows reflects the Church of the exaltation, by the way, the wedding place of Anton Chekhov. In the spacious restaurant hall, you can warm up by the warm fireplace, and the time spent on the soft sofas seems to slow down. The choice of menu items and the direction of cuisine dictates experience and a constant look to the future, because the MODUS restaurant concept has existed since 2004 and today opens in a new light and style, like a flower of life, symbolically reflected in the new MODUS restaurant logo.

MODUS RESTAURANT Interior

MODUS restaurant is a three – story mansion in the center of Moscow, the home of good friends on Plyushchikha.

The luxurious interior of the mansion was created by architect Irina Naryshkina and designer Anna Kurganova. The restaurant is ideal for personal and business meetings, family celebrations and holidays with friends, romantic dates, and can also become a place where it will be comfortable to stay alone and immerse yourself in your personal Affairs.

Every winter, a fireplace is lit in the main hall and the entire space is filled with the aromas of juniper and fir cones. While remaining a trendy and relevant place, MODUS RESTAURANT constantly surprises its regulars. There are performances by artists, live music is played, the gastronomic map is updated, new items are added to the bar menu and the wine list.

What defines a good wine bar in Moscow? Should a bar only serve local wine and snacks? Or maybe this place should have a kitchen and take bookings for a fine dining experience as well? We took this difficult work upon ourselves and checked all the popular places in the city. Here’s the list of the top spots.

I Like Wine is considered to be the first democratically priced wine and gastro bar—this is a place where wine matters most. More than 100 local and imported items are on the list and it’s really hard to resist and choose at least one of the options. On top of that, it is quite revolutionary, providing visitors with an exceptional chance to serve rare small local wines at affordable prices.

2. AQ Kitchen

The wine list of this centrally located restaurant in the historical and central district of Moscow is democratic, diverse, and fascinating.
