Five crew members will ensure the high-end level of service is delivered at all times. The yacht boasts a GRP hull and superstructure, with a beam of 7.90m (25.92ft) and a 4m (13.12ft) draft. A single MAN D0836 LE401 EDS diesel engine run this beautiful yacht, giving her a top speed of 12 knots.

Wally reveals range of 30m+ super sailing superyachts in Monaco

Wally has used the occasion of the 2021 Monaco Yacht Show to announce a range of 30m+ super sailing superyachts.

The new performance cruiser range described as “a new line of technically superior performance cruisers” is part of a strategic push by Wally to “redouble efforts on the sail side”.

Designed in-house, the series features naval architecture by judel/vrolijk & co , while custom features and equipment can be chosen by the owners.

Speaking at the Monaco Yacht Show, Ferretti Group chief executive Alberto Galassi revealed the new range has its origins in the Wally 101 racer-cruiser currently under construction . "From there, we've designed a whole new range," he said. 

"We didn't want to come out with just one model. We want to have performance cruisers that everyone can buy and we want to give a package that is faster than any other brand but is also a great cruising boat."

The new performance cruising range will feature three models all measuring over 30 metres, kicking off with the smallest in the range, the 33.3 metre Wally110. The larger models, the Wally130 and Wally150, are also being developed.

Boasting “all the hallmarks of Wally’s timeless style,” the Wally110 is “safe and comfortable” but retains a “high performing pedigree”, Wally said.

Key features include a raised saloon configuration, resulting in increased volumes, and a terrace on the sea concept to maximise living space.

“Under the Ferretti Group, Wally is redoubling its efforts and focusing also on the sailing side, and the exquisite results of this will soon be cruising the world’s oceans and winning races,” said Wally managing director Stefano de Vivo.

Speaking about the larger models in the range, Wally founder and chief designer, Luca Bassani said: “The larger 130 and 150 boast extra features, such as the comfort of a sleek deckhouse, a private owner’s cockpit aft and ample tender storage.”

The ’double deck’ design reaches its zenith in this yacht, which puts the full-beam owner’s cabin right aft where it can benefit from a unique private lounge. This flexible indoor-outdoor space lies between the grand double doors to the owner’s suite and the ‘terrace-on-the-sea’ beach club. It is hard to imagine a better equipped owner’s cabin, with the sort of dimensions usually only seen on land. A sleek, glass deckhouse roof swoops aft, largely concealed behind the raised bulwarks which preserve the elegant overall proportions of the yacht. This is the social centre of the wallywind150, where guests dine and relax together in the company of the seascape that surrounds the boat. It gives flush-deck access to the well-sheltered guest cockpit before climbing to the aft cockpit. Guests will be enchanted by the many relaxing possibilities, and the size of the beach club aft. But perhaps most of all by the forward cockpit, whose elegant teak steps and deep seating are revealed once the 5.0m tender has been launched.

Wally 130 Black Sails Maintenance works 2023–2024-PART 2 February 2024

After the intensive winter refit works, the keel of the beautiful Wally 130 Black Sails is back onboard.

As part of the activities, we perform for our clients, there are the full maintenance-refit service works.

The keels are removed from the yachts, sent to our premise, and after the full refit works, will return “as news” renovated in all the details. These works are necessary in order to maintain the keels, components of primary importance for the yacht life, in perfect condition and keep navigate for the years to come.

APM team is as always very proud to see our keels come back home after many years and miles, and be able to navigate again in perfect condition.

Here in the pictures the keel re-installation operation, we just effected. Soon the yacht will be launched and tested as sea for safely sailing many years to come.

Overseen by Judel Vrolijk naval architecture firm with interior design accents by Sans Tabù, the yacht showcases a distinctive profile and plenty of outdoor space. Guests can sit or lounge on the sizable teak deck as they enjoy a breezy day at sea and take in the gorgeous ocean views. A midnight-black hull and gigantic sails give the yacht a swanky, sophisticated look that sets it apart from other vessels in its class.

The posh interiors offer additional opportunities to relax. A secluded saloon promises privacy for everyone on board. A companionway leads to both the crew and guest cabins as well as the galley area. And in addition to an owner’s suite, the yacht features two guest cabins sure to provide rest and relaxation after a long day at sea.

The Wally 93 features a displacement of only 35.5 tons, and is a light and powerful specimen. Performance is optimized for light to medium conditions, and the yacht can be wind-driven with 16 knots of wind, thanks to an upwind sail area of more than 5,400 square feet and a downwind sail area of almost 11,400 square feet. If there is no wind to be found, a 255 hp Steyr diesel engine will provide cruising power. The yacht is being constructed with the most advanced composite technology available to ensure a superior product. The building materials—which include high modulus unidirectional carbon-fiber and CNC female carbon-fiber mold—are reminiscent of those used in the America’s Cup boats, offering a similarly sublime experience. Capable of accommodating six guests and two crewmembers, the Wally 93 is scheduled to launch next summer. The sporty yacht will then debut at the 2018 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, guaranteeing a sailing experience that is equal parts speedy and swanky. ( wally.com )

First look: Wally 101 – new 101ft yacht due in 2023

The luxury yacht manufacturer is due to launch a new boat in 2023, the new Wally 101 inspired by the well-respected Wallycento design rule

Wally has sold its first new sailing yacht since the buy-out by Ferretti in 2019 – a 101-footer inspired by the Wallycento box-rule design, called the Wally 101.

The fully custom carbon racer displaces just 56.4 tonnes, much of which lies in the keel. It will bristle with technology, including double low- and high-pressure hydraulic systems for faster sail handling, a lifting keel and retractable prop. This last is estimated to reduce drag by 5%, giving a 10-second edge for each mile sailed.

For all that, the Wally 101 is also described as a family-friendly boat, which retains Wally’s original ethos. A Magic Trim system allows the boat to be sailed with a minimal crew, and she offers comfortable dining in the cockpit, or sunbathing aft.

Founder Luca Bassani describes the yacht as “flying the flag for the planet”. The claim rests on the Judel/Vrolijk-designed hull being very easily driven, making 18-20 knots in cruising mode, but exceeding wind speed even in light airs. Delivery is scheduled for spring 2023.
