Gary and Daisy's Relationship Has Endured Rough Waters on 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht'

The relationship between Gary King and Daisy Kelliher from Below Deck Sailing Yacht hasn't been easy for either of them. Or, for Colin MacRae, Daisy's Season 4 love interest.

After Daisy and Gary entered the Below Deck universe in 2021, fans of the Bravo series have continuously speculated that the reality stars are more than friends. And they aren’t the only ones who see their dynamic that way.

Gary has spoken out about his and Daisy's connection and their past is a big part of their storyline in Season 4. Especially since Daisy is ready to move on. Let’s dive into Gary and Daisy’s relationship timeline and how they ended up where they are today.

Gary and Daisy’s relationship timeline started out rocky during Season 2 of ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht.’

The chief stew and first officer first graced fans' screens in 2021 when the second season of the Below Deck spin-off series debuted on Bravo. However, the duo did not hit it off right away.

Despite holding separate job responsibilities, Gary and Daisy’s personalities frequently clashed during their time in Season 2. So much so, the Irish reality star revealed during her first Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion that she didn’t know if she would want to be co-workers with Gary again.

“You clearly hated me and thought I was a giant b--ch,” the chief stew told the New Zealand native. However, Gary denied the allegation and explained that he only said that she was “ acting b--chy.”

Gary and Daisy’s relationship turned passionate during Season 3 of ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht.’

While it’s no secret Gary and Daisy’s relationship started rocky during Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , their dynamic shifted significantly during Season 3.

When the Bravo stars reunited for their second stint on the reality series, they engaged in a steamy makeout session in the hot tub during a night out.

The kiss was so passionate that Gary and Daisy almost slept together that night. But despite the palpable sexual tension between the two, the co-stars continued insisting that there was nothing romantic happening between them.

In fact, Daisy revealed on her Instagram story in January 2022 that she didn’t remember the kiss at all. “No one’s mind was more blown than mine the next day,” Daisy admitted, per Us Weekly . “I have no recollection of that kiss.”

Gary revealed that he and Daisy hooked up in the ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Season 4 mid-season trailer.

After being caught in a love triangle with Gary and Colin MacRae during Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , the first officer revealed shocking information during the mid-season trailer that altered his relationship with Daisy.

When Gary got jealous about the chief stew’s hook-up with the chief engineer, Daisy immediately put him in his place. “You f---ing could have had me a million times over, and you didn’t want me,” she said in the trailer. “Now you can’t have me, and now you f---ing want me?”

Then, Gary dropped the ultimate bombshell. “Having sex with you was f---ing amazing,” he told her.

When Daisy realized that cameras picked up on the first officer’s comment, she tried silencing Gary so he wouldn’t spill any more secrets about their relationship.

And when Colin learned that his new flame hooked up with the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star, he couldn’t help but comment. “The chemistry they have and the way they look at each other — I thought it was all friends,” the chief engineer admitted. “It all makes sense now.”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Chef Marcos cooking on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew having drinks

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 includes returning crew Captain Glenn Shephard, chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 looks like it’s not light on the conflict or surprised hookups.

For those needing more details about that kiss between Gary and Daisy, hear from Daisy herself as she provides a little more insight on their involvement.

How to watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 air live on Mondays in the US. With a subscription, episodes can also be streamed live via Fubo TV , Hulu with Live TV , Sling TV and YouTube TV . Additionally, Peacock provides next-day streaming for its subscribers. In order to access episodes, would-be viewers will have to subscribe to Peacock Premium , which offers either a $4.99 ad-supported or $9.99 ad-free plan.

Viewers in the UK can watch episodes the day after they air using Hayu .

Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

Daisy Kelliher and Gary King Share Steamy Kiss in ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Season 3 Trailer (Exclusive)

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3 Trailer: Daisy and Gary's Makeout Session, Love Triangles and Major Injuries

Welcome back! The first look at season 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht brings plenty of drama — and that includes an unexpected make out session between Daisy Kelliher and Gary King .

“All of you are forgetting the f–king lack of basic respect. You don’t f–k somebody and then f–k somebody else,” the chief stew says in Us Weekly ‘s exclusive sneak peek at season 3, which returns on Monday, February 21.

In the clip, the new crew is seen pairing off throughout the charter season and that leads to Daisy and Gary making out in the hot tub . According to a press release from Bravo, the pair “leave their contentious dynamic behind” and instead will “bring their relationship into uncharted waters” during season 3.

“Meanwhile, Daisy’s desire for smooth sailing with her team is endangered as resentments between the stews emerge and threaten the hierarchy of the boat,” the statement continues. “In the galley, chef Marcos strives for the same standard of excellence he is accustomed to on land but is pushed to his limits to sustain that at sea. With a twisted love pentagon, a litany of gruesome injuries and a dangerous, potentially vessel-crippling accident that threatens the safety of everyone on board, this is Parsifal III’s most epic charter season yet.”

Gary and Daisy’s professional relationship had its ups and downs when they first joined Below Deck Sailing Yacht in season 2. The first mate found himself at odds with the chief stew when he tried not to help her during charters and later spoke badly about her to the cameras.

“I was quite offended, because I constantly went up to Gary confronting him, being like, ‘I heard this. I feel like you have a problem with me. Is there an issue? I’m not offended. Let’s talk about this,’ because I liked him a lot, and he’s a good worker,” Daisy explained during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in May 2021. “I just didn’t get what the issue was with me, and I constantly created this safe environment for him to talk to me. He was like, ‘No. There’s no issue. There’s no issues.’ So, I’m like, oh, OK. Then I go back and it was just this constant circle.”

At the time, Daisy questioned whether Gary’s behavior came from him being “intimidated” by her.

“I think he was kind of scared of me,” she added. “I think he likes to be liked. I think he didn’t like that I was quite upfront, and I think he was a bit. like, ‘I don’t know how to handle this.’ So, I think his way of handling it was bitching and maybe stirring a bit.”

The department heads later aired out their issues during the reunion episode in June 2021 .

“You clearly also hated me and thought that I was a giant bitch,” Daisy told Gary, who replied, “I may have said you were acting bitchy, I never said you’re a bitch.”

The first mate clarified that his words were taken out of context, adding, “This is stupid. We’re not even arguing over this because I never called you a bitch. I might have said you were being bitchy, which is not the same. Being bitchy and being a bitch is completely different.”

Captain Glenn Shephard (Captain)

Glenn returns as captain — a role he has had since the spinoff premiered in 2020.

Although Glenn "knows how to keep his cool," his Bravo bio shares that he is calm "until his limits are pushed" by others. The trailer hints that the captain may have several fires to put out onboard when the boat ends up almost running aground overnight.

Daisy Kelliher (Chief Stew)

The yachting legacy is coming back as chief stew after first joining the show in season 2.

"Daisy has a lot to live up to when she returns to Parsifal III after a successful last season and can always be counted on to give you a piece of her mind and let her hair down to have a good time," her bio reveals.

Colin MacRae (Chief Engineer)

Colin is another cast member who is back for another season on Parsifal III.

"With a big heart and an impish smile, Colin is more than happy to lend a hand anywhere that he might be needed. However, when Colin’s kindness gets mistaken for weakness, fireworks fly," his Bravo bio reads.

Gary King (First Mate)

After a tumultuous introduction to the Below Deck franchise, Gary is giving things another go.

According to his bio, Gary may rule the deck department "with an iron fist," but he is also "never the type to leave a party first."

"I feel like I was the case of a little drama last season. I am not going to have sex with the first chick that throws herself at me," the first mate says in a confessional before locking lips with several of his costars. "Gary's new leaf has been turned!"

Marcos Spaziani (Chef)

Marcos joins Parsifal III with over 10 years of experience as a chef — which includes attending culinary school in Venezuela.

Offscreen, Marcos is opening a restaurant in Los Angeles, while onscreen viewers saw him suffering a serious head injury.

Gabriela Barragan (Second Stew)

The second stew, who has worked as a stewardess and a deckhand in the past, is "eager to deliver five-star service to the demanding charter guests."

Gabriela opens up about her experience in the industry in the clip, saying, "The thing about yachting that makes it difficult is not the guests and not living on a boat — it's the f--king elements."

Ashley Marti (Third Stew)

The New York native made the decision to join yachting during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"Since then, she’s made her way through the East Coast of the United States and The Bahamas and is looking forward to future experiences aboard Parsifal III," her bio reads.

Kelsie Goglia (Deckhand)

"A true adventurer, Kelsie loves to spend her time outdoors, especially in the water, so it’s no surprise she calls San Diego her home in the off season," her Bravo bio states. "Kelsie is thrilled to bring her determination and work ethic aboard Parsifal III."

Tom Pearson (Deckhand)

The deckhand has a history with speed boats and water sports, but the trailer teases Tom's interest in romance more. He shows an interest in Ashley, who doesn't seem to return his feelings at first.

Below Deck stars Daisy Kelliher and Gary King shared a shock kiss in the season three trailer, suggesting that there are rocky waters ahead.

The chief stewardess and first mate came to blows during the second series of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht spin-off, leading to rows on the boat.

They were confirmed to return to the cast for another stint on board, alongside Captain Glenn Shephard and first officer Colin MacRae – with a first look suggesting that the tensions give way to surprising passion in Menorca.

After footage showed a string of racy cast hook-ups on board, the stew could be seen yelling: ‘All of you are forgetting the f**king lack of basic respect.

‘You don’t f**k somebody and then f**k somebody else.’

She could then be seen passionately kissing Gary in the hot tub after a night out, suggesting that more drama could be on the horizon…

A synopsis from Bravo, via Us Weekly, teases that they ‘leave their contentious dynamic behind’ and take their relationship ‘into uncharted waters’.

‘Meanwhile, Daisy’s desire for smooth sailing with her team is endangered as resentments between the stews emerge and threaten the hierarchy of the boat,’ it read.

‘In the galley, chef Marcos strives for the same standard of excellence he is accustomed to on land but is pushed to his limits to sustain that at sea.

BELOW DECK SAILING YACHT Daisy

‘With a twisted love pentagon, a litany of gruesome injuries and a dangerous, potentially vessel-crippling accident that threatens the safety of everyone on board, this is Parsifal III’s most epic charter season yet.’

Captain Glenn will once again be at the helm of the luxury boat, alongside Daisy, Gary and Colin – with the gang welcoming a new cast.

Chef Marcos Spaziani is taking over from Natasha De Bourg, while stews Gabriela Barragan and Ashley Marti will make up the interior crew.

Gary and Colin will have their hands full with new deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Thankfully, we’ll have a front row seat to the drama without having to scrape together our pennies for a charter trip, as Sailing Yacht will air in the US next month.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht  Season-Finale Recap: Docking for the Season

Below deck sailing yacht.

below deck sailing yacht season 3 daisy and gary

Those cheeky, sneaky, Bravo bastards! I should have known better than to read into their teasing episode title (“All Roads Lead to Gaisy”), which, on second reading, definitely needs some work in the portmanteau department, but I guess I just wanted Gary and Daisy to happen so bad, I was willing to believe anything. For those few seconds in the BAR, I was convinced we were about to witness history. I was even starting to worry! How would the rest of the crew react? Would Daisy regret it? Would their relationship suffer? What would it mean for next season?

Love them or hate them, Gary and Daisy’s will-they-won’t-they dance has us hooked. Just when I think I’m out, they pull me back in. Gary is objectively gross, and yet there’s something about the guy. Even the charter guests are rooting for Gaisy, going so far as to ask Daisy her thoughts on marriage. I wouldn’t be surprised if the bride was up writing fanfic as we speak.

Let’s rewind: Daisy catches the bride’s bouquet and is swept up in the romance of the moment. This happens to the best of us. We go to one wedding and suddenly start seeing in rose-colored glasses. We believe in true love! After she catches it, Gary sprints into the water, declaring that he won’t marry her. He runs back and shrieks at her, asking why  she  had to catch it. The wedding party fawns over them, and the bride says they’re a cute couple. We get a picture-perfect moment (where is this photo, by the way? I would love to lay my eyes on it!) before Daisy snaps back into reality and says the whole moment is too close for comfort.

Back on board, the guests grill Daisy on Gary and the potential of a relationship. She shuts them down immediately: “No, that’s never going to happen since I’m not an idiot.” Soon enough, the charter is over and our crew ushers the guests off the boat (we’ll get to this after we discuss Gaisy in their entirety) to prepare for their final night of debauchery. As Gary says, let’s be like a donkey’s dick and hit the road!

In one cab, Ashley suggests that Gary will either sleep with Scarlett or Daisy. Sweet Barnaby rejects this outright: “Gary is  never  going to fuck Daisy,” he says while gesturing how high he thinks of Daisy compared to Gary. Colin chimes in that he wouldn’t put it past Gary, and Barnaby seems shocked and concerned.

At dinner, Gary proposes the group share their highs and lows of the season. Corny, but cute. As a Pisces, I approve of this ‘roses and thorns’ exercise. Gary’s high? “Dais, I’m going to have to say you. Coming up from last season, we’ve just got along like a house on fire, and you and I are closer than ever and it’s meant a lot to me.” Bravo to the Bravo producers once again for this Gaisy montage. They are laying it on thick! (For the record, both my and Colin’s high of the season is the three boys giggling and play fighting in their room. Colin refers to this as ‘The Giggle Club.’) Daisy’s high, meanwhile, is the wedding. With a wistful look in her eye, she says it made her feel like there might be true love out there…

Back in the cabs en route back to the  Parsifal , Barnaby gets straight to work, asking Daisy if she’s shagged Gary. She says no. He asks why. “His penis kind of freaks me out,” she replies. That’s as good an answer as any! In the other cab, The Giggle Club plus Scarlett are engaging in a splash fight. This poor driver and his soaked car.

The crew gets back on board and parties, blah blah, we’ll go into this later. More importantly: It’s 2:58 a.m., and Daisy and Gary are the only ones at the bar. “Okay, so for once can me and you, one time in our life… Can we…?” Daisy starts to ask. Gary jumps on this immediately. “Have sex? Where are we meeting? Starboard or port? You tell me.” My jaw is on the floor. There’s no way Daisy actually shags Gary tonight! Gary insists that she at least change out of her wet bikini. She retorts that she knows how to get undressed. I am screaming at this exchange. Gary asks the question we’re all wondering in a confessional: “What the fuck is going on?”

The next shot we see of Daisy shows her bun donut nearly halfway out, so I’m forgiving her for her lapse in judgment here. She’s clearly drunk and feeling sentimental post-wedding and due to the season ending. Gary gets distracted by yet another slap fight with Marcos, and that delay may have just saved Daisy from a Gaisy hookup. Kelsie interrupts their snuggle sesh in their shared room, and what Gary calls a ‘cock block,’ I call a blessing in disguise.

Daisy confides in Kelsie, calling their relationship “complicated” (no shit), and Kelsie asks her if she’s sure she doesn’t want to go with Gary. Daisy responds with a resounding “no,” and that’s that. Colin and Marcos dissuade Gary from going to give her a goodnight kiss, telling our favorite Lothario that he’s doing too much. And … scene.

Now that Gaisy is out of the way, let’s talk about the rest of the episode. The finale gave what a finale should give. It’s feel-good and fun and nothing like the first half of this season, which was chock-full of toxicity and drama. The wedding guests gift the crew a magnum bottle of Veuve Clicquot and some major change (a $20,000 tip), and Captain Glenn unveils the grand total of the season: Over $160,000. Not bad!

As for the wedding cake? Allegra seems fully surprised that Marcos actually made her one, which makes me livid on his behalf. I wish she was chomping at the bit for it, mentioning it at every turn. Did she even want this cake? Allegra and Co. are actually quite polite and fun, but I am overprotective of Marcos! He says he wants to give the guests a show for their wedding dinner, and like clockwork, they eat right out of his palm as he flambés a Tomahawk steak tableside. “Marcos, you’re a showman!” they cry.

Daisy promotes Ashley to “lead stew,” at the tip meeting and Ashley is overcome with emotion. In her confessional, she seems quite moved and proud of herself. I had to laugh when Barnaby asked the question we were all thinking: “What the fuck is a lead stew? It’s a nothing.” Perhaps it’s a fake title, but it’s good enough for Ashley! Even Marcos and Colin tell Ashley that she’s grown over the season, and honestly, I’ll give her credit where it’s due. But a moment of silence for how she absolutely decimated her grilled cheese sandwiches, and also a moment of recognition for Marcos saying, straight up, how disgusting her meal looks and that she has butter on her tits. Imagine cooking so poorly in front of Marcos … I’d never be able to show my face in a kitchen again.

Marcos confesses to Captain Glenn that his business partner just told him that an investor is interested in opening a restaurant with them, which likely means Marcos won’t be joining us in upcoming seasons. His restaurant,  Marlou , is located in downtown Los Angeles and it looks like Daisy and Gary have stopped by since its opening.

Captain Glenn wakes up the poor hungover souls bright and early the next morning, and one by one, the crew makes their way off the boat. I’ve always wondered how they decide the departure schedule. Clearly Daisy gets top billing, but are there negotiations for everyone else? I think Scarlett should have been the first to disembark, but ultimately it’s Barnaby who gets booted first. Daisy rushes out to say goodbye to him in a towel, which definitely made his entire experience. Ashley seems oddly reflective and admits she has a lot more growing to do. Marcos cries, admitting that he’s been holding in his emotions and how he feels for the first time that he has a new family. Kelsie says she’s learned that the superyacht industry isn’t for her, Colin makes a beautiful ode to the friendships he’s made and how he’ll cherish them, and then Gary, with a faraway look in his eye, mentions that the sexual tension between him and Daisy is undeniable. Maybe one day…

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher Unpacks ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Season 3 Ahead of Finale

Daisy Kelliher in Below Deck Sailing Yacht - Season 3

Daisy Kelliher started Season 3 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht with the mindset that she wasn’t going to take any “you know what” from anyone. That proved challenging for the chief stew as she ventured through turbulent waters aboard Parsifal III.

The luck of the Irish wasn’t always smiling on Kelliher as she managed professional and personal conflicts within her department, initially between second stew Gabriela Barragan and third stew Ashley Marti. That was until the environment was too much for Barragan, which led to Scarlett Bentley filling the position as a junior stew.

Adding to the drama was first mate Gary King , whose flirty ways didn’t make things any easier. With wedding bells ringing for guests on the final charter and the season finale on the horizon, we caught up with Daisy to unpack what we’ve seen so far and to get some burning questions answered.

Pretty crazy that the crew had to plan for a wedding with so little time.

Daisy Kelliher: It was definitely a lot. At the same time, I’ve been doing this for 10 years, so I was kind of like, “Whatever, we’re going to either do it or not.” I’ve reached a point in my career where stressing about it won’t help. I have confidence. We can only do what we can do within 24 hours, but it turned out to be pretty incredible.

Gary was at the center of a lot of the issues you faced in your department. Looking back, how difficult was that?

I think I came in pretty confident and went in with a way I wanted to handle everything. It did not work. People are going to do what they are going to do. The Gary part was very difficult for me because I feel like I really pushed his support away last season. I tried to take a different approach with him this time. I tried to be softer. It didn’t seem like either approach worked. It was a massive struggle within my team, but it was a great learning curve and growth for me. Me and Gary, I think had a better relationship this season. It’s not all Gary. It’s the girls too. Work-wise the girls were incredible, but it wasn’t about work all the time.

Do you feel like you could have done anything differently to prevent Gabriela from leaving mid-season?

I see the comments. I know a lot of people feel it was my problem or issue with Gabriela crumbling. I don’t agree with that. I stand by the fact I did my absolute best. Gabriela is the same age as me. I think it was a lot in her head. Someone may be a bit paranoid or feel that everyone is against them, but there is not much I can say or do. It was a personal inner growth she needed to work on.

Captain Glenn Shephard Talks Tense Situation in 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3

You certainly had your share of difficult charter guests. Erica Rose came back. Then you had a very demanding charter with Dr. Kim Nichols. How was it reliving these experiences?

Nobody believes me, but it was actually worse in real life than on the edited, compressed [version]. People experienced that for an hour. We got a full three days of it. Rewatching it was funny. They are not awful people. Everyone has a good heart. Them screaming my name as I ran around, maybe they didn’t realize the impact. I’m a human as well. I don’t know how they felt watching. I look back and laugh because I can’t believe I lived through it and that happened. It was all a bit surreal.

Ashley felt she should have been higher up on the stew hierarchy. It came up again when Scarlett came on board and you decided to make both junior stews. Did it make you rethink having a second and third stew?

I think it was important for me to show the girls we are a team. I did try to explain to Ashley, which didn’t get aired, that in the yachting industry the only reason we have a second stew is to have a platform to move forward. It’s motivational, but it’s not there to boss people around or be above someone else. It was important to me that she understood that by the end of the season. It massively made me think about what I’m going to do next time. Maybe I’ll make everyone a junior stew.

When it comes to your relationship with Gary, everyone seems to chime in including Captain Glenn Shephard . What do you make of the infatuation between you two?

I knew at the time during the season that my big storyline was going to be me and Gary. I very much predicted what story was going to be told. The people behind the scenes explained that the chemistry between us was so intense. The whole boat could feel it. I was prepared for what was going to happen. I was surprised with how obsessed everyone is with us being a couple. I thought everyone would be against it. We are just friends. I hate to tell everyone that, but there is nothing more to it. Just very flirtatious.

For now. Never say never. Last year there was no way I would have said I was going to kiss him. So that was surprising.

Do you feel seeing him flirting with all the girls was the turnoff?

Massively. I was the first girl in the first season he hit on. It didn’t air, but I brushed him off straight away. Other people commented saying since I didn’t give him that attention, he looked for it elsewhere. I thought that was an interesting point. Fair enough, but as soon as he went off with Sydney [Zaruba] and Alli [Dore] and now Ashley and Gabriela — yeah, maybe things would have ended differently if he continued to pursue me, but he didn’t. We’ll never know.

How would you sum up the season?

I thought it was hard to top season 2 because so much happened. This season has been such a roller coaster of emotions. So much happened in season 3. For me, it was a lot of ups and downs. Like last season, the aim for me was to come out on a high with a strong team and loving friendship. It was a massive success. That’s the fun in the show, having the audience come with us. There were points where maybe they thought, “Are we going to make it? Is the boat going to make it?” We finish on a big high, which you will see in the finale.

What can we expect from the reunion?

I think people took accountability in the reunion. It’s good to talk about the incidents during the season, but it was all good. I think we’re all still talking to each other.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Daisy Kelliher and Gary King – – Here’s what we know about their relationship status

Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars Daisy and Gary continue to spark romance rumors.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 brought a whole new dynamic to Daisy Kelliher and Gary King’s relationship status.

Gary and Daisy had a rather tense working relationship during their first season, which was Season 2 of the sailing show. The second time around, they had a more flirty nature and even got physical.

Let’s take a look at what the chief stew and first officer have said about taking their relationship from friendship to romance.

What has Daisy Kelliher said about dating Gary King?

When the photo of them at Disneyland got the rumor mill buzzing that Gary and Daisy were an item, she quickly addressed them admitting their relationship dynamic was complicated. The chief stew shared that she knew Gary too well to get involved with him romantically.

After their steamy make-out session in the hot tub, Daisy revealed on her Pita Party Instagram series with Alli Dore and Dani Soares that she had no recollection of kissing Gary . Daisy was really drunk that night. It’s a sentiment she’s shared many times on and off-screen.

The one thing Daisy keeps reiterating is she and Gary are just friends. However, she also hasn’t denied they have chemistry.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Daisy refused to answer if she and Gary had ever had sex. Later she came clean, revealing it was fun for her to tease fans like that, but she gets a kick out of it.

At the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 reunion, Daisy once again shared she has a great friendship with Gary. However, they are not dating, and she has no intentions of anything romantic.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Gary sees things differently than Daisy

Although Gary has spoken less about his relationship with Daisy, he admits they are good friends.

The first officer, though, sees things differently than Daisy. On the Kinda Sorta Dating podcast, Gary spilled there is real chemistry with the chief stew that’s beyond friendship.

Gary knows Daisy doesn’t take him seriously, which was addressed when he was a guest on Pita Party. His feelings for Daisy are so real that Gary asked Daisy out on a date.

Unlike Daisy, who seems pretty insist no romantic relationship will emerge, Gary seems to hold out hope romance may brew. Gary hooking up with female crew members the past two seasons has done little to help his case with Dasiy, that’s for sure.

Daisy Kelliher and Gary King may have a little bit of time away from the spotlight. Season 3 has ended, and Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 won’t debut until next year.

Gary has expressed his hopes to return, while Daisy has shared her thoughts on doing another season.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-3 are streaming on Peacock.

You wouldn’t know it from watching “Below Deck Sailing Yacht,” but Gary King likes to have space to himself. Before he starts the summer charter season, he likes to book a hotel room for a few days. “If I can have my own space, and just relax a little bit, it makes the season a lot easier,” says the 33-year-old via video chat from a hotel room in Sardinia he’s booked for precisely this purpose.

King, who is from South Africa, has just finished a day of work aboard Parsifal III, the 177-foot sailing yacht that provides a setting for some of the most outrageous antics in the Bravo universe .

Each show in the dangerously habit-forming “Below Deck” franchise follows the hard-partying crew members and demanding guests aboard yachts in exotic destinations around the world, from the Caribbean to the South Pacific. Now in its third season, “Sailing Yacht” is arguably the most dramatic incarnation of “Below Deck,” thanks to tighter living quarters, wind-tossed working conditions and adventure-hungry crew members.

King, who joined “Sailing Yacht” in Season 2, has become the show’s breakout star, a mischievous charmer with a tousled man bun and a husky smoker’s voice who is almost bafflingly irresistible to his female co-workers. (King has hooked up with nearly all the women in the Parsifal III crew as they sailed the Balearic Islands of Spain this season, but his abundant chemistry with plucky chief steward Daisy Kelliher is what has viewers in a frenzy.)

In other words, King makes for great TV. But he also happens to be very good at his other job, as the Parsifal’s first mate; this season viewers saw King spring into action when the yacht nearly ran aground during an early morning wind storm.

A couple standing by a dinghy by the shore

King has always gravitated to the water. Growing up in Knysna, a city in South Africa known for its large lagoon, he’d often hitchhike to the beach after school. “My mom would come and pick me up after work. I’d see her sitting in a car when it was getting dark flashing her lights at me,” he recalls. He became a “yachtie” by accident: During a gap year in Majorca, he learned quickly the South African rand doesn’t go very far in Europe. Unwilling to ask his mom, a single parent, for money, he decided to go “dock-walking.”

“It’s the most demoralizing thing in the world,” he says. “You go from one boat to another: ‘Hi, do you have work for me?’ ‘No.’ ‘Hi, do you have work for me?’ ‘No.’” Eventually, he got a job on Creole , “a lovely old classic schooner built in 1927,” and he hasn’t looked back since. “I kept getting paid to travel and I was making good money. Here I am, 12 years later.” King says the hardest part of yachtie life is being a hemisphere away from his family: His mom is in South Africa, his brother in New Zealand.

The job also makes it hard to settle down — something King swears he wants to do sooner rather than later. Mostly, though, he’s eager to film more “Sailing Yacht,” should the powers-that-be at Bravo decide to bring him back for another sail. (The network has not yet made any announcements about Season 4; King says he didn’t get the call about Season 3 until a few weeks before it began filming.)

How ‘The Real Housewives’ glam arms race gets its cast into hot water

Bravo’s glittery reality franchise has always encouraged competitive consumption. But cast members’ financial ‘smoke and mirrors’ can lead to trouble.

June 22, 2021

Tell me how you ended up on “Below Deck Sailing Yacht.” Had you heard about the show before you were cast?

If you work on boats, you hear about “Below Deck,” but I don’t actually watch any reality TV to be honest. I’d never watched the show prior to getting cast.

There’s a woman named Diana Wallace. She’s the casting agent. She joins yachtie pages all over Europe and the States. And then she just sends [messages] out to random people. So I received a few messages from her asking me to be on the show. I was like, “It’s COVID. What’s the worst that can happen?” Never thought I was gonna get the job. Done two seasons and never looked back.

Do you watch the show now?

Some episodes. I send them to my mom. She’s my number one fan and my number one critic, so she’ll let me know which episodes I have to watch. She’ll be like, “Gary, I wasn’t very happy with you on that episode.” Then I go watch it and see what I did wrong. My mom’s proud of me but she’s also like, “Gary, come on. This is not how I brought you up.” Obviously, I’m a mother’s boy.

What has been the hardest thing for you to watch back?

Just hooking up with girls on TV. It’s a little bit cringe. Also just getting drunk on TV. It comes with the industry. We need to blow off some steam. But I don’t think it’s a very good look, us being so pissed while on TV.

How do the yachties on the show compare to those in real life? Is everyone really as crazy as they are on “Below Deck”?

I think the yachties in real life are a lot crazier than they are on “Below Deck.” If “Below Deck” actually knew exactly what went on on boats, this show would go on for thousands of episodes.

So you think “Below Deck” is tamer than real life?

To a certain extent, yes. There are some things that are far-fetched [on the show], like the charter guest, Chuck [who said he could get better food at a ballpark and left a terrible tip]. You wouldn’t really have a charter guest that would say something like that, because these people have got class, and [outside of the show] they’re paying upwards of $200,000 a week to charter this boat. But how the crew parties afterwards — that’s pretty accurate. I’ve heard stories that I don’t really want to share but are a lot worse than what happens on “Below Deck.”

So the guests in real life are not as bad as the ones on Bravo?

As a rule. On sailing boats, I think the guests have got more class. They come from old money. But friends that have worked on motorboats, some of the stories they’ve told me it’s like, “How could you even work on that boat?” But a charter’s a charter. You work for a week, you kind of forget all the bull— that happened because you’ve got a €5,000 tip.

A group of people on the deck of a yacht

How would you describe the difference between people who work on sailing yachts and people who work on motor yachts? Are there stereotypes about these groups?

People on a motorboat, they’re just there for the paycheck. Any motorboat you work on is pretty much the same. Whereas in a sailing boat, we’re out there for the adventure. We’re going from A to B sailing, getting propelled by the elements. And I find the clientele come for the experience on a sailing boat. If you’ve got money, any Tom, Dick or Harry can go charter a motorboat.

Do you get this attention from women when you are on dry land?

Well, clearly not, because I’m still single. I don’t know what it is about the boats.

It’s a tough industry for relationships.

For sure. I was actually chatting to Glenn [Shephard, the captain] today about going on rotation [after the summer charter season is over], maybe do three months on, three months off, so I can start settling down, try and meet someone. I can’t really commit to anyone when I’m going to leave in a week’s time. I’m starting to wig out about it: Am I going to be single for the rest of my life? I grew up without a father, and I want to make sure that I’m there for my kids, if I ever have the chance to have kids one day.

Fans are definitely shipping you and Daisy, as you surely know. What’s going on between you two?

I’ve definitely got a soft spot for Daisy. We still chat often. When I was in London, we had lunch together. We have a great relationship. But also, after watching that episode where she told the charter guests, “I would never date Gary. I’m not an idiot,” that hurt me a little bit. This is maybe my problem. When I like a girl, they don’t feel the same way for me. And vice versa. Because that’s what happened with me and Ashley this season. That’s another reason why I keep thinking, “Am I going to be single for the rest of my life?”

So you were genuinely hurt when she said that?

100%. I’m not gonna force anything to happen between Daisy and I. I definitely have chemistry with her, whether she agrees with that or not. But things like that [comment] hurt a little bit. Maybe she was just trying to make a joke in front of the charter guests. I just think her wording could have been different if it was a joke.

Do you think maybe she was being defensive?

Possibly, I don’t want to look too much into it. But I’m single. I’ve got a lot of time to think about things.

A lot of viewers were upset by your encounter with Ashley Marti and thought her behavior towards you constituted sexual assault because you were drunk. You have repeatedly said that you don’t feel this way. But did that incident make you reflect on the hook-up culture in your industry and the difficulties of drawing boundaries when you live and work with people in such close quarters?

I’m not proud of all my actions [this season]. And I don’t ever want to do that again. That Ashley scenario was a big realization for me.

I want the next girl who I start hooking up with to maybe be my girlfriend. I haven’t had a girlfriend for five years now. I can’t remember what it feels like. I don’t want to just hook up with girls and have one-night stands. I say that now, but if I come back for another season, who knows what will happen. [laughs]

There must be some tension there for you — trying to be a better person but also wanting to be entertaining .

I’d like to [come back for another season] because then I could show people that I have turned over a new leaf and there is a different side to me than just hooking up with chicks. Most of my best friends are females. But on Instagram , people say I’m a womanizer, which is the furthest thing from the truth.

Are there things you do differently when the cameras aren’t there?

We definitely wouldn’t sail before they’ve had breakfast. That’s ridiculous. But also, the charter guests on [the show] only have three days, two nights. They’re still paying a lot of money to be on the boat. They want to sail as much as possible.

I don’t hook up with my stewardesses off-camera [that much], believe it or not. It’s happened once or twice, but it’s not like it happens on the TV show. Also, we don’t go out every three nights, because we’ll have a 10-day charter, and then [a few days for] turnaround, then a seven-day charter. We’ll be lucky if we can all go ashore to have a dinner and have a few glasses of wine.

Colin MacRae, Barnaby Birkbeck and Gary King in "Below Deck Sailing Yacht"

What’s your favorite place to sail?

I absolutely love Greece. There is always wind. You can always find an island that has no one else around. The water is beautiful. The food is just phenomenal.

Glenn has a very interesting leadership style compared to some of the other captains in the “Below Deck” universe, who are a bit tougher. How would you describe it?

Glenn is very gentle. But also I’d say Glenn leads by example. If someone makes a mistake, Glenn would be the first person to say, “Listen, you make mistakes, you’re only human.” He’s just so patient and so humble. I think everyone needs a Glenn in their life, to be honest with you.

You and Colin have a very entertaining rapport.

We are like chalk and cheese. He’s very sensible and I’m not. He thinks before he speaks; I don’t. I think we both live vicariously through each other, me doing silly things, and Colin being the sensible person who I can always look up to. I actually just spoke to him yesterday, telling him I miss him. It’s such a bromance. As soon as we chat, it’s like, “Hey, loser. How’s it going?”

It seems like you and Daisy clashed at first but really grew fond of each other this season. Is that just the editing or did it feel that way to you as well?

I don’t know if both of us were in denial about liking each other. But it was like two little kids, when they like each other, they fight like cats and dogs. I’m still trying to work that one out, to be honest. But it was my highlight coming out of the season, being such good friends with Daisy. It means a lot to me. If it has to happen between Daisy and I — not that I’m saying it will — but if it has to happen, then so be it.

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht': Gary CONFIRMS relationship with Daisy after kissing Ashley

After the messy drama with Sydney Zaruba and Alli Dore season 2 of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht', Gary King kicked off the new charter season determined not to sleep with anybody immediately after the first team outing. If you're wondering if the first officer of Parsifal III managed to keep his promise to himself, then the answer has to be a resounding no. In fact, Gary found himself locking lips with new stewardess Ashley Marti way before the first charter and the team outing!

But that isn't the most shocking thing on season 3 of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' . The season trailer featured Gary kissing his former enemy/ chief stewardess Daisy Kelliher as well. It looks like that kiss may have worked its charm as Gary recently confirmed that he was dating his co-star on Instagram. Daisy shared a snap of the duo enjoying a ride in Disneyland. She playfully captioned the picture, "Taking the big child out for day." Fans immediately began bombarding the star if she was dating Gary. Even though Daisy didn't confirm the fans' speculation, Gary did. He shared a video of Daisy and him laughing on his Instagram story after he confirmed that they were dating.

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3 Full Cast List: Captain Glenn to Gary King, the crew returns

While we will have to wait and watch the season to see what pushed Daisy into Gary's arms, there's a lot of drama awaiting us this season. The premiere episode kicked off with a bubbling love triangle between Ashley, Gary, and new deckhand Tom Pearson. Both Ashley and Tom were drawn to each other as soon as they met. But later, Ashley changed her mind and shifted her focus to Gary after she learned Tom's age. Ashley, who is 23-year-old herself, revealed that she doesn't date men who are her age or younger, and since Tom was her age, she felt that he was too young for her and passed him up and approached Gary.

Ashley wasted no time in letting Gary know that she was interested in him and even initiated a kiss. While Gary was enjoying the attention from Ashley, he, however, made it very clear in his confessional that he wasn't going to jump into anything serious with her and also appeared to be a bit concerned about stepping on his friend Tom's toes by showing interest in her. Tom, on the other hand, decided to step back from pursuing Ashley as he felt that he needed to maintain a good relationship with his boss Gary and would be in his best interests not to chase after Ashley if Gary too was interested in her. It looks like there's going to be some interesting love triangles awaiting us this season.

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3 airs every Monday at 8/7 on Bravo.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht 's Love Triangle Comes to a Dramatic End in Tear-Filled Reunion Preview

Where do below deck sailing yacht 's daisy kelliher, gary king & colin macrae stand after their complicated season four love triangle see what brings the chief stew to tears in reunion teaser..

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion will be anything but smooth sailing.

In E! News' exclusive sneak peek at the Bravo series' season four reunion on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen , the messy love triangle between Daisy Kelliher , Gary King and Colin MacRae comes to a dramatic head as the trio of boat mates try to make sense of their feelings for each other.

After Daisy declares she's "disgusted" in the teaser, Gary sheds more light on the boatmance he had with Stew Mads Herrera while also pursuing Daisy. "It was strange," he says of Mads, "because he would come and climb into my bed every night and try to have sex with me."

And while Daisy and Gary have a complicated history of flirting  that started long before her romance with Colin this season, it appears that Colin has officially moved on from her following filming.

"This is why the relationship turned toxic," he declares in the preview. "You can't reason with this woman."

Colin's harsh statement causes Daisy to start sobbing and walk off camera, shocking the rest of the cast and host Andy Cohen .

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until the two-part reunion to find out if Daisy is still romantically involved with either Gary or Colin today.

Daisy and Colin first took their relationship from business to pleasure on BDSY 's May 29 episode when they shared a passionate kiss.

The chief stew and chief engineer's budding romance only caused problems for her ongoing flirtationship with Gary, with the situation causing the deck lead to reveal  during the June 12 episode that he and Daisy had sex twice after last season, further complicating the love triangle.

As for where everyone stands heading into the July 10 season finale? Well, Gary and Daisy shared a kiss on the June 26 episode with him even trying to woo her away from Colin.

Daisy Kelliher, Gary King and Colin MacRae are opening up about the status of their love triangle. During part two of the   Below Deck Sailing Yacht  reunion on Tuesday, the trio shared what happened after the cameras stopped rolling on season 4.

"We explored something together," Colin said of himself and Daisy. "The first time I saw her again was at the Newport boat show, I flew her over from the U.K. to come see me; that was really good. Then, there was a couple of other things that we did. We spent a week together in Mexico, I flew to New York to see her. We were kinda bouncing around together for a little while."

Things, however, eventually "turned a little toxic," according to Colin.

"You can't reason with this woman," he said, "and I realized that and I ended things with her."

Daisy had a different view of the situation. Though she admitted that she and Colin "triggered each other," she claimed that her ex was "missing the whole point of why it really turned badly."

"When I found out he had broken up with his ex-girlfriend in April, I was like, 'OK, great!' Not great, because they broke up; great, because possibly something could happen between Colin and I. We knew we liked each other, we could feel it," she said. "So, I returned to the boat and I find out that he has been sleeping with someone that he's working with. So, I immediately retreat. I put up all of my walls. This is nothing that gets shown. Nothing that's aired."

As such, Daisy admitted that she became "very defensive," but called out Colin for making her "feel incredibly guilty" about her long-running flirtation with Gary.

"Throughout the year, I asked about this woman, and I asked why it was different with me and Gary and not this woman? And he said, 'The difference is, I am telling you, there is nothing between me and this woman. That there is no future; even if you and I break up, there is no future,'" she claimed. "So, then to find out from my crew members a couple of months after we had broken up, that he was now in a serious relationship with this woman, it was very shocking for me to hear. Very hurtful. And, the toxicity was always there because the trust was never there."

Colin and Daisy went on to reveal that they first got together  before  the season. While Colin claimed Gary was "stoked" about the then-budding relationship, Colin said that, at the time, he didn't know about Daisy and Gary's history.

As for why they kept their pre-season kisses under wraps, Daisy explained, "I A) wasn't trying to start a relationship. I wasn't like, 'I kissed this guy three times, I'm in a relationship.' B)…I didn’t know about his current girlfriend that he was hooking up with, OK? So, C) when he told me about this girl, it made me take a step back."

"Yes, I was still hooking up with him. Guess what? I'm 36 in 2023. I can kiss multiple people and not feel ashamed for it!" she said. "So, yeah, when Colin and I were kissing, we still hadn't slept together at this stage, and he told me that he had been sleeping with someone else. So, I was like, 'OK, I guess we're, like, kinda figuring stuff out."

It's for that reason that Daisy was annoyed by the blowback to her drunken truth-or-dare kiss with Alex.

"For me to be held accountable for that, when yeah, OK, Colin and I kissed in a hotel room. So what? Now I'm exclusive? No!" she said. "And it made me put my walls up when I found out he had been sleeping with someone."

Colin claimed the situation "was a lot deeper than that," and alleged that Daisy knew about the other girl, which she denied. Colin continued insisting as much, though, causing Daisy to burst into tears and storm off the set.

"We knew this was going to happen," Colin said over Daisy's sobs. "What I've said is the truth. I've just laid it all out there. Now it's my fault that I'm with somebody else, because we turned toxic? It makes no sense."

When Daisy returned to the reunion, she lamented how she felt "f**ked either way" she approached the whole situation.

"I'm always going to be the bitter, angry, crazy woman. I'm never going to win. It's never gonna matter what I say," she said. "... I defend myself, I'm defensive. I sleep with someone, I'm a slut. I speak up, I'm angry or toxic. I stay silent and I’m weak."

Colin noted that while his and Daisy's connection was "genuine," the arguing got to be too much, so, weeks later, he started a new relationship. All the while, Daisy claimed, Colin made her "feel so guilty about Gary.

"I eventually stopped talking to him. I eventually stopped being friends with him. It turned into a roaring match," she said of Gary, before calling Colin for his own flirting with Ilesha.

"The thing that killed me all season, Daisy, is you kept telling me over and over and over, you didn't have feelings for Gary and that it was me that you wanted to be with over and over and over, and then I'm watching it back, I didn't feel that's the case," Colin responded.

Daisy admitted that she feels "nothing but remorse and shame" for how behaved with Gary, but said she "was scared of getting hurt."

While Gary confessed that he had "deep down" feelings for Daisy, she said she "felt like a piece of meat" between him and Colin.

"I felt like I was a prize. It felt like it was an ego competition," she said. "I don't think Gary had genuine feelings for me. I do think we have a genuine connection, in that sense of what we do the show, and you have this bond. We've been through so much, and we do make each other laugh and feel good, but I think that's just on a feel-good level, and I think he confused that and I think I'm allowed to confuse that. I think we're all trying to figure things out."

While she was trying to figure things out, Daisy admitted that she was falling in love with Colin.

"I was more betrayed by the fact that he didn't tell me he was with this girl," she said. "I thought we were friends and I thought we built a good friendship, and knowing that all of these people on this screen knew this for months before I did, it was humiliating."

As for where they go from here, Daisy said she considers Gary a friend and will coexist as coworkers, and he remarked that they'll "never [be] how we were." Gary and Colin, meanwhile, have maintained a "pretty good" friendship. When it comes to Daisy and Colin, he said he was open to repairing things with her.

"I have regrets, but more importantly I know I have a good heart and I know my intentions were good," Daisy said. "Onwards and upwards."

Sister Wives: Christine Brown’s Memorial Day Plans Show How She’s Changed Since Leaving Kody

Survivor 46's charlie davis reveals if he's still friends with maria after betrayal, bachelor nation theory might explain bachelor in paradise's absence.

The new season of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  aired last week, and viewers are already invested in the upcoming love triangle between Chief Steward Daisy Kelliher , First Mate Gary King, and Third Stew Ashley Marti. Fans became aware of this love triangle during the season 3 trailer, which was released a few weeks before the  BDSY  season 3 premiere. The trailer included a heavy make-out session between Daisy and Gary while in the hot tub onboard Parsafil III.

As for Ashley's part in the love triangle, she made it clear on night one that she was attracted to the first mate. While having a conversation with Gary and his new deckhand Tom Pearson, Ashley revealed that while Tom was physically her type, she was more attracted to Gary's age range. Later that night,  Ashley made a move on Gary , and he became confused about whether or not he should pursue a relationship with her after what he did last season.

Related:  Why Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Gabriela Deserved Second Stew Over Ashley

The relationships between Daisy, Gary, and Ashley became muddy after Daisy found out more than one of the girls onboard kissed Gary. During a recent interview with Us Weekly , the chief stew explained that she had no idea Ashley and Gary had shared a night one kiss when Daisy kissed Gary later in the season. " The difference between me and maybe some of the other girls is I kind of own the kiss. I kind of am vocal about it ," she explained to the news outlet about the infamous hot tub kiss with Gary, which was shown in the BDSY season 3 trailer. " [...] the younger crew, they’re a bit more secretive, so I never knew that kiss happened. So I don’t feel like I’m stepping on toes ." When Ashley found out about Daisy and Gary, the third stew became a little bit more intimidated by their relationship.

After Gary and Daisy shared their kiss, Daisy and Ashley's relationship started to become a bit more complicated. Ashley clearly has strong feelings for Gary and didn't realize she would have to compete for his affections. Not only did Gary entertain the advancements of another woman, but the other woman is Ashley's boss. And as the third stew, Ashley wasn't about to jeopardize her job so she could make out with the first mate for a few weeks. Despite showing interest in the same guy onboard, Ashley and Daisy seemed to work well together. Daisy has had nothing but nice things to say about her third stew and how hard she and her second stew Gabriela Barragan worked this season.

All in all, the Daisy, Gary, Ashley love triangle doesn't seem like it's as dramatic as the trailer is letting on. So far, the team seems on good terms, and the love triangle may have been a misunderstanding. Nonetheless, fans will have to wait and see what happens between Daisy, Gary, Ashley as the season progresses.

Here's Where the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Is Now

Did the drama continue?

below deck sailing yacht season 3

Since it debuted back in 2020, Bravo’s spin-off Below Deck Sailing Yacht has certainly delivered some of the most dramatic feuds and steamy boatmances, and it looks as if Season 3 is no different.

While Captain Glenn Shephard is returning to take the lead of the Parsifal III, there’s a lot that’s changed, including a brand new crew and filming location. The cast will be sailing through the stunning waters of Menorca, Spain, but they’ll definitely be hitting some rocky moments, especially when it comes to returning crew members Gary and Daisy’s love-hate romance.

Well, it seems as if there’s more to come as Bravo teases one of the most unexpected crew hookups in Below Deck history. Say what? With so much having happened during the cast’s filming last summer, what exactly have they been up to since?

Captain Glenn Shephard

Daisy kelliher - chief stew.

When Season 3 wrapped, Daisy Kelliher, who returned aboard the Parsifal III as chief stew, took some much-needed vacation time. Kelliher hit up Antigua in the Caribbean , which is where she rang in the New Year and has remained since filming. Considering her ongoing love-hate relationship with fellow castmate Gary King, Daisy remains single for the time being, but she’s certainly not fallen out of love with traveling. Despite appearing to be living the life so many wish they could, Daisy revealed she’s been suffering from severe separation anxiety as she shared just how hectic and demanding her line of work could be in a February 13, 2022 post on Instagram

Gary King - First Officer

Being involved in Bravo drama is nothing new for Gary, especially after his steamy season with Daisy. Well, after wrapping up season three in Menorca, Gary took some time off to reunite with his family; sharing an adorable photo of him and his niece, Ava , on Instagram. The Bravo star is currently in St. Lucia , soaking up the sun, but he hasn’t managed to escape the drama. After sharing a kiss with Daisy Kelliher in the most recent season three trailer, fans have been wondering if he and Daisy are an item. Well, despite the rumors, Gary and Daisy aren’t dating, after confirming to E! News that the two are “just friends.”

Colin McRae - Chief Engineer

Colin McRae has returned to his old stomping grounds aboard the Parsifal III, and considering his love for sailing, fans aren’t surprised to see the Bravo star back on their screens. Since wrapping up last summer’s filming, it didn't take too much time before Colin and fellow Chief Stew Daisy reunited back in December. Since then, Colin has given most of his time to his YouTube channel, Sailing Parlay , which features an array of videos showcasing his sailing adventures. Things are clearly going well for Colin’s online presence, considering he was rewarded with a YouTube 100,000 subscriber count plaque back on February 6. "It has been 4 years of VERY hard work, possibly the hardest of any sailing channel out there that I know of so far, and to reach this milestone is so gratifying for us,” he wrote on Instagram.

Marcos Spaziani - Chef

Say hello to Bravo’s newest chef, Marcos Spaziani. The Venezuela native has been in the industry for over 10 years and is bringing his culinary expertise to the waters of Menorca. It didn’t take much time for Marcos to make a name for himself following season three of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . Spaziani is currently settled in California and has decided to open up his very own restaurant in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Marcos and fellow chef Louis Huh have been working diligently on their newest business venture, ML Eats LA .

Gabriela Barragan - 2nd Stew

Gabriela Barragan reigns from San Diego and while she’s new to the Below Deck crew, she is certainly no stranger to yachting . Barragan has worked as both a stewardess and a deckhand over the course of the last two years and has continued her yachtie life after filming season three of Sailing Yacht . Gabriela spent January and February working a yacht in St. Thomas. After living and working the island life, Gabriela took to Instagram to share that all of her “ wildest dreams are coming true ,” and considering she’s spending her days sailing through crystal clear waters, we don’t blame her.

Ashley Marti - 3rd Stew

Ashley Marti is making her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, and she’s relatively new to the industry. Marti first began working on yachts at the start of the pandemic. Although she reigns from New York , Marti is currently a West Coast gal as she takes in the Los Angeles sun alongside a few of her castmates. Since wrapping up Season 3, Ashley traveled through the United States and the Bahamas and is adamant about returning back aboard the Parsifal III, so Bravo fans just might be seeing more of her in the future.

Kelsi Goglia - Deckhand

Kelsi Goglia is making her Bravo debut this season of Sailing Yacht. After catching the travel bug following a trip to Croatia, Kelsi has been a yachtie ever since, and it doesn’t look like she’s turning back any time soon. She currently resides in San Diego, California, and loves herself some travel, as most Below Deck crew members do. While her romantic life remains a mystery, it’s clear she’s too busy roaming the world to settle down just yet.

Tom Pearson - Deckhand

Growing up on a lake , Tom Pearson is no stranger to the water, but he’s brand new to the Bravo family. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht deckhand was spotted getting his boatmance on, making us all wonder if he’ll be headed toward hot waters. Well, it seems as if Pearson remains single, but his life is anything but boring. After returning home to Windermere, England, Tom has kept busy surfing through the British waters but has taken quite a liking to his new image. The Bravo star has been attending a number of events following his newfound fame, including his most recent appearance in London, England for the launch of a new app on January 20.

‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Star Daisy Kelliher On Gary King, Colin MacRae Love Triangle This Season: “I Didn’t Want To Hurt Anyone’s Feelings”

Where to stream:, below deck sailing yacht, ‘below deck’ exclusive clip: dylan piérre de villiers plays truth or dare with bikini-clad charter guests, aesha scott returns to ‘below deck mediterranean’ as chief stew: watch the season 9 trailer, stream it or skip it: ‘vanderpump villa’ on hulu, another entry in the overserved hospitality-reality genre, ‘below deck’ exclusive clip: barbie pascual refuses to change her signature margarita recipe for fraser olender.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 has featured our much-loved chief stew Daisy Kelliher navigating some pretty rough waters. The yachties of the Parsifal III have experienced a difficult inaugural charter so far (engine trouble, a missing First Officer, demanding guests, a green crew), so Captain Glenn Shephard has been hard at work to try and right the course with the help of his department heads, Gary King, Colin MacRae and Daisy. Unfortunately for Daisy, that means Captain Glenn has put the interior team under extreme scrutiny. As stews Lucy Edmunds and Mads Herrera try their best to meet their captain’s standards, Daisy is having a tough time dealing with the extra pressure, given the already stressful circumstances. Instead of her peers rallying around her, Daisy has found herself tearfully adrift with little compassion from the other departments. After a tough episode last week, we spoke to Daisy who confirmed at this point in the season that she’s “over the worst of it.”

Daisy also knows that fans are eager to learn more about the much-hyped love triangle between herself and longtime pals Gary and Colin. “Gary was determined to ruin mine and Colin’s relationship,” she teased when pressured for more details. “I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, so I probably didn’t handle it as well as I should have,” Daisy said in hindsight. It also seems beloved lothario Gary will finally get a taste of his own medicine this season, which is long overdue if you ask some viewers!

Over Zoom, we spoke with Daisy about her thoughts about the season so far, crew nights out, and which of her long-haired yachties has the best ‘do.

DECIDER: How has it been watching this season back?

DAISY KELLIHER: Validating [laughs]. It’s a weird one. A year later, you conjure up stories in your head and you wonder if what you remember really happened. As you watch, you feel these emotions that you parked away so long ago rise up again. I get so angry watching the episodes sometimes. It’s a mixed bag of emotions, but overall, I really enjoy watching the season back. While it can be a bit awkward and uncomfortable, I find it pretty funny most of the time. It’s okay.

This charter season feels like the first time, in all your time working together, that you and Captain Glenn haven’t been on the same page.

From the beginning , we had a tough time with a difficult charter. The beginning is usually hard anyway, but then we had Gary out with those positive COVID tests, difficult guests, and the engine breaking. Unfortunately, the negative energy carried on throughout most of the season. Like I said, this was a weird season for me. Normally, I have a pretty good relationship with my captains, and they’re pretty trusting. Maybe I didn’t realize how badly I reacted to constant negative feedback. I never thought I was somebody who needed positive reinforcement, but this season was a bit of a lesson for me. It was a tricky time in my professional life, but that’s okay [laughs]. I’m hoping at this stage in my life I’m over the worst of it.

Last week was a pretty emotional episode for you. Do you think what Colin said about constructive criticism during the tip meeting was a dig toward you?

Well, no one else reacted, so that was towards me. It was a strange episode to watch back. I didn’t get emotional watching it. I just got angry, and I got a lot of messages. My friends were texting me pictures of them crying. I was like, “Why are you all crying?” I think a lot of people found my troubles quite triggering, and I don’t know why Colin did that.

The whole thing was hard to watch. It wasn’t very nice, but hindsight is 20/20. I don’t know how the guys feel about it now. I’m sure they didn’t realize quite how upset I was at the time. I think they all just put it down to my being an emotional woman [laughs].

If I’m being honest, I saw a bit of a boys’ club forming the past couple of episodes.

Boys’ club might be a bit strong a word, I think. There was just a lack of understanding and a lack of wanting to understand. I don’t believe they were trying to hurt me or isolate me or anything like that. Personally, I think you can see elements of their lack of understanding or empathy in the last two seasons. There were times in the past when I went to the guys and told them, “I don’t feel supported,” and they would brush me off. However, I have a lot of respect for all the guys. I love them all individually for different reasons, and I don’t hold anything against any of them.

Colin did hold Gary accountable for taking a smoke break in the last episode while the crew was waiting.

That’s why I wouldn’t go so far as to describe them as a boys’ clubs. The guys can clash with each other. There’s more just a lack of consideration for my role as a chief stew and as a female leader. So I wasn’t that surprised when Colin stood up because we were all fuming. It was not a cool move what Gary did. What you can’t see from the show is that we were going to ask the guests to come up only because it was a surprise. So, we couldn’t ask them to come up until Gary came up. That’s why it looks like the guests weren’t there, but really, we hadn’t asked them to come up because we were waiting for Gary.

I have been loving the new crew this season. What are your thoughts on your fellow yachties?

Honestly, I loved the whole team. At times, Chase did annoy me, but by the end we got through it. I was like, “Okay, I got you. You’re strange, but whatever.” I really enjoy watching him on the show, and his green screens actually make me laugh. I enjoyed Alex as well. I’ve always liked any of the girls I’ve worked with for different reasons. But this year it was just so relaxed. I felt this huge support system. There was no fighting over boys, there was no fighting over roles, and they loved each other. They were really, really close. The dynamic among the interior crew was really lighthearted. Unfortunately, it’s not necessarily coming across in the show because we were all a bit stressed. It was actually a lovely crew.

Lucy and Mads are pretty green. Did that change how you led the team? My biggest thing is for them to try. I really don’t care about the rest. I’m like, “All we can do is try, and if it’s not perfect, well, we tried.” What am I going to do? Make us sit down and talk about how much more we can try? No, I’m not going to do that. I just want a good attitude. You can be the best stew in the world, but a bad attitude doesn’t make the work environment fun. We work incredibly long hours, physically and mentally; everything about it is just so draining. If you’re able to laugh about stuff and really just have a good attitude, that’s fine. And the girls really did. They were great. They never talked back. They just did it. Were they the best stews? No. Could they have been better? Yeah. But at least they made me smile, and they were always on time. If they messed up, they apologized and owned it. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

I’m loving the vibe this season and can’t wait to see more crew nights out. Do you think this group of yachties got sloppier more quickly than previous seasons’ teams?

This was a bit of a different season because we all drank. There were other seasons that there were definitely more reserved crew members. You only had me and Gary and two other people causing trouble. The difference with this season was that we were all on it, which was super fun. Everyone was just loose, and drank every night. Every season I think, “I drank really heavily because we’re really stressed.” And every season I say, “I’m not going to drink heavily. I’m going to not be stressed.” By the time the charter finishes, however, it just gets earlier and earlier till I have my margarita. By 12:00 PM, I’m like four margaritas down. This season was no different. It was fun.

So what can you tell me about your hookup with Colin later in the season?

Nothing [laughs]. It’s all coming. It’s all going to come real fast, so be prepared. It was all a bit of a whirlwind, but, yeah. There’s drama, there’s kissing, there’s a lot.

In the season trailer we also see Gary confronting you and accusing you of “spitefully hooking up” with Colin to “get back” at him. What was your reaction to hearing this? There were several conversations that happened, so it’s not just the one conversation. Gary was determined to ruin my and Colin’s relationship. It’s complicated. I started off having something, I guess, with Gary, then moved over to Colin. At the time, I was frustrated with Gary, but looking back now, maybe I can understand a bit more. There’s definitely a bit of a love triangle. I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, so I probably didn’t handle it as well as I should have. In hindsight, I should have shut it all down pretty quickly. I was just trying to keep everyone happy and friendly, but I allowed tension to escalate. It will be a good storyline, I’m sure. Everyone’s going to enjoy it.

If you had to rank hair for Alex, Colin, and Gary, how would you rank them?

Alex’s hair is the best because he washes it. He can wear it down. He can wear it up. I’m going to go with Colin next because I do like Colin’s hair, but I don’t think he ever washes it which really freaks me out. Last is Gary’s hair. I don’t mind it when it’s up, but when it’s down… well, I don’t hate it. It’s just my least favorite.

I also wanted to ask about the epic Below Deck meet-up you had in London recently. How did that all come to pass?

There are a few of us around in London anyway. We try to see each other, but obviously we’re all busy as well. Aesha [Scott] obviously had put up that she was coming into town. So, I think everybody messaged her individually about getting together when she was in London , and everyone just happened to be here. Dave [White] was here getting his visa. Courtney [Veale] , Fraser [Olender] and I all live in London, but it’s hard to catch up with us here because we’re always traveling for work. Jake [Foulger] is up in Bristol. Hayley [De Sola Pinto] lives a couple of hours away. People were in town for the BAFTAs. It was just this pure coincidence that we were all available this one day. So, we got a group together, and it was so fun.

What can you tease about the rest of the season?

The love triangle is definitely coming up. Gary is getting a bit of a taste of his own medicine this season. There are some more big nights out. Definitely at least one more crazy charter. I’m hoping that the tears and the drama are over. From what I can remember, it’s going to become more lighthearted. My meltdown ends soon, and then the fun begins [laughs].

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.

Daisy and Colin Reveal the Truth About What Happened After Filming BDSY Season 4

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht engineer dropped a serious bombshell about their boatmance: “Nobody knows this.”

below deck sailing yacht season 3 daisy and gary

The Parsifal III crew officially said goodbye to Season 4 of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  with Part 2 of the reunion, which took place in the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen  Clubhouse on July 18.

How to Watch

In the reunion’s dramatic conclusion, chief stew Daisy Kelliher and engineer Colin MacRae finally faced off about the demise of their boatmance, which blossomed throughout the fourth season.

As the two shared their sides of the story regarding their breakup, Colin and Daisy revealed some major secrets about their relationship and what happened once the cameras stopped rolling.

Keep scrolling for the biggest revelations from the second and final part of the reunion.

What Happened Between Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae After BDSY Season 4

When Colin and Daisy left Parsifal III on the Season 4 finale , they vowed to keep in contact and to see if their connection could last off the boat.

During the reunion, Colin noted that the two “explored something together” after the show, but said things fell apart by the end of 2022.

Gary King, Daisy Kelliher, and Colin MacRae Reflect on Their "Awkward" Love Triangle

“The first time I saw her again was at the Newport boat show. I flew her in from the U.K. to come see me. That was really good,” he said. “There was a couple of other things that we did. We spent a couple of weeks together in Mexico. I flew to New York to see her.”

However, after seeing each other a few times, Colin said the relationship took a hit.

“We were kind of bouncing around together for a little while, and then it kind of turned a little toxic, I would say, and I ended things around December [of] last year,” he added.

Why Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae’s Relationship Turned “Toxic”

Both Daisy and Colin agreed on one thing: Their romance ended badly. When asked why the relationship became toxic, Daisy said, “Because we triggered each other. You’re missing the whole point of why it really turned badly.”

Daisy went on to claim that Colin had been sleeping with someone else when he arrived to Parsifal III to film Season 4.

“I turn up to the boat and I find out that he has been sleeping with someone that he is working with,” Daisy said, explaining why she seemed upset with Colin throughout the season. “So I immediately retreat, put up all of my walls… I become very defensive.”

Daisy Kelliher reveals Colin MacRae’s current relationship status

The chief stew noted that Colin made her “feel very guilty about the Gary [King] thing” during filming, and “throughout the year” afterward.

“Then throughout the year, I permanently asked about this woman, and I asked why it was different with me and Gary and not this woman. And he said, ‘The difference is I’m telling you there’s nothing between me and this woman, that there is no future, even if you and I break up, there’s no future,’” Daisy recalled.

Gary, Daisy, and Colin's Messy Love Triangle Leaves Mads and Chase with *Feelings*

However, after she and Colin broke up, Daisy found out he was in a relationship with the woman he had apparently been hooking up with before Season 4.

“So then to find out from my crew members a couple of months after we had broken up that he was now in a serious relationship with this woman, it was very shocking for me to hear, very hurtful,” she added. “And the toxicity was always there because the trust was never there.”

Colin later spoke up about his girlfriend, noting that she “treats me really f-cking good.”

Colin MacRae and Daisy Kelliher’s Pre-Season Hook-Up

Viewers may have thought that Colin and Daisy shared their first kiss on the staircase on Episode 8 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 , but the engineer dropped a bombshell during the reunion that changed everything.

“Before filming Season 4, Daisy and I hooked up,” Colin revealed. “This is what nobody knows in the audience, nobody knows this.”

Split image of Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae

Daisy interjected, asking for the two to “go back to Season 2” if they wanted to talk about everything that happened.

“This is why the relationship turned toxic,” Colin said, reacting to Daisy’s interjection. “You can’t reason with this woman. And I realized that, and that’s why I ended things with her.”

Gary King and Colin MacRae Majorly Clash Over *This* Below Deck Sailing Yacht Drama

Colin said he called Gary after he first hooked up with Daisy, and the first mate was “stoked.” He said he told Captain Glenn Shephard as well, and he was “happy about it.”

“Daisy was in my hotel room days before filming,” he added. “We had started something already.”

When did Colin MacRae find out about Gary King and Daisy Kelliher’s hook-up?

While Daisy and Colin may not have been fully honest about when they first kissed, Colin said he really did find out about Daisy and Gary’s hook-up on the show.  “I found that out halfway through the season, filming,” he confirmed on the reunion.

Why Daisy Kelliher Got Emotional at the Reunion

On the final part of the reunion, viewers got some clarity about the moment when Daisy got up from her chair.

The chief stew began to cry when Colin said she had “zero remorse” about the end of their relationship.

What Does Daisy Kelliher Regret?

When she returned to her chair, Daisy explained why she had such a strong reaction.

“I’m f-cked either way. I’m always going to be the bitter, angry, crazy woman,” she said. “I’m never gonna win. It’s never gonna matter what I say. It’s never gonna matter, my actions.”

Where Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae Stand Today

Though Colin and Daisy no longer have a romantic relationship or even a friendship with each other, they both acknowledged that their connection was genuine. Colin noted that he “a thousand percent” had real feelings for Daisy.

“I told her the whole time. Before the season, during the season, after the season. Genuine connection. I did my very, very, very f-cking best to try to be with this woman. I flew her all around the place, I was trying to make it work,” he said. “This isn’t badmouthing Daisy, but she was sort of pushing me away a little bit, trying to figure out if it was real. Unfortunately, by the time she figured out it was real, we were arguing exactly as we are tonight.”

Gary King Just Revealed *This* Secret About Colin MacRae to a Below Deck Sailing Yacht Producer

Daisy said she wasn’t in love with Colin, but she did have “very strong feelings to the point of possibly we were falling in love.”

“I was more afraid by the fact that he didn’t tell me he was with this girl. I thought we were friends, and I thought we broke up in friendship,” she continued. “Knowing that all of these people on this screen knew this for months before I did is humiliating.”

You can watch extended, uncensored versions of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 reunion on Peacock . Part 2 will drop on the streamer on Wednesday, July 19.

Below Deck Down Under Stews Who Could Replace Aesha Scott As Chief Stew

  • Aesha Scott may be departing Below Deck Down Under, leaving room for a new Chief Stew to take over her role.
  • Tumi Mhlongo, a standout second stew, could step in to replace Aesha on Below Deck Down Under for season 3.
  • The show must go on without Aesha, and potential candidates like Tumi Mhlongo have the skills to lead as Chief Stew.

With Aesha Scott seemingly exiting Below Deck Down Under , several stews could replace her as Chief Stew. She pioneered the franchise as Captain Jason Chambers’ Chief Stew during seasons 1 and 2 of the Below Deck spin-off. Aesha and Captain Jason had an undeniable chemistr y, working together seamlessly while operating successful charters on the two yachts they worked on. Before her stint on Below Deck Down Under , Aesha appeared in Below Deck Med seasons 4 and 5 as a stew under Hannah Ferrier. She quickly became a fan-favorite crew member, beloved for her bubbly personality.

Her prosperity as a stew on Below Deck Med led to her becoming the Chief Stew of Below Deck Down Under. However, she’s returning to her roots to work as Captain Sandy Yawn’s Chief Stew on Below Deck Med season 9 . Because she’s working on the Mustique again, it’s unclear if she’ll serve as Jason Chamber’s Chief Stew again for season 3. Aesha belongs on Below Deck Down Under , but her exit from the franchise may be inevitably coming, and the show must go on with a new Chief Stew whether fans like it or not.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Tumi Mhlongo

Below deck down under season 1 & below deck med season 8.

Tumi Mhlongo would be the natural replacement for Aesha on Below Deck Down Under . Her first appearance in the franchise was in the Australian-based yachting series. She worked as Aesha’s second stew during Below Deck Down Under season 1 , where she excelled. After a great season as a second stew, she was promoted to Captain Sandy’s Chief Stew during Below Deck Med season 8. Her time on Below Deck Down Under was arguably much better than Below Deck Med. She had a season-long fight with Natalya Scudder that disrupted their charters and made the show unbearable at times.

Since Below Deck Med season 8, Tumi and Natalya have ended their feud . They got off on the wrong foot after Kyle Viljoen meddled in their relationship. At times, Tumi handled things poorly as Chief Stew. However, after going through a charter season as hectic as that one, she could exceed in Below Deck Down Under season 3. It’s where she got her start on the Below Deck franchise. With Aesha making the switch back to Below Deck Med , they could trade roles and have Tumi take over her position as Captain Jason’s Chief Stew.

Julia d'Albert Pusey

Below deck mediterranean season 1.

Julia d'Albert Pusey was Hannah’s second stew in the first season of Below Deck Med . She helped pioneer the spin-off that has gone on to become a smash hit. Julia had a positive attitude during Below Deck Med season 1, which is essential for success as a stew in the yachting industry. She went into the season with nearly eight years of experience, making her well-qualified for the job. Julia has gone on to pursue different avenues of business, but Below Deck Down Under would benefit from having her as Captain Jason’s Chief Stew.

Xandi Olivier

Below deck season 11.

Xandi Olivier was a great second stew under Fraser Olender during Below Deck season 11. Working with the experienced Chief Stew, Fraser took a natural liking towards Xandi for her hardworking nature. She didn’t complain when he gave her jobs and knew how to do her job correctly. At times, the interior team on Below Deck season 11 clashed, but Xandi was rarely in the drama . She butted heads with Barbie Pascual at times but did a good job at resolving every conflict she was caught up in.

Fraser Olender

Below deck season 9-11.

Fraser has the experience needed to take on Aesha’s job in Below Deck Down Under . He first joined the franchise during Below Deck season 9. Fraser did such a great job working as a stew during his first season that he was immediately asked back as the Chief Stew for Below Deck season 10. He made franchise history by becoming the first male Chief Stew on the show and subsequently came back for the show’s eleventh season. He possesses a witty charm that the interior team head needs to appeal to all the crew members and charter guests.

Throughout Below Deck season 11, Fraser gained more experience. He made mistakes along the way, letting his feelings about some of his stews impact his professional decisions. He worked well alongside Captain Kerry Titheradge, who guided Fraser in the right direction. No Chief Stew is completely perfect, but Fraser’s ability to appeal to the guests and right his wrongs makes him the perfect option for Chief Stew of Below Deck Down Under season 3.

Katie Flood

Below deck med season 6.

Heading into Below Deck Med season 6, Katie Flood had big shoes to fill. She preceded Captain Sandy’s longtime Chief Stew, Hannah Ferrier. Hannah is one of the most beloved Below Deck personalities ever, so it was unclear who would replace her on the show. However, Katie served as the best replacement for Hannah when she appeared in Below Deck Med season 6. She had a lot of experience and excelled at the head of the interior team. She’s only had one season in the franchise, but that doesn’t mean she couldn’t return for Below Deck Down Under season 3.

Jaimee Neale

Below deck down under season 2.

Jaimee Neale was one of Aesha’s stews on Below Deck Down Under season 2. She joined the series to replace controversial crew member, Laura Bileskalne . Aesha’s second stew, Laura, was fired after justifying Luke Jones’ sexual misconduct towards Margot Sisson after a night of drinking. Margot explained that Luke had entered her bunk naked and tried to get in bed with her and the producers had to step in and get in and out of the room. Aesha reported the incident to Captain Jason, and he was fired immediately.

Instead of feeling sympathy for Margot, Laura was more upset that Luke had left the boat. Captain Jason then fired Laura for her stance on the situation. It was one of the worst moments in Below Deck history. When Jaimee stepped in, she became a lovable personality on the show. She has previous experience working for Captain Jason, meaning she knows how he likes things to run on board. For this reason, she should step up as Chief Stew on Below Deck Down Under season 3.

Barbie Pascual

Barbie would be TV gold as the Chief Stew for Below Deck Down Under . Entering the franchise on Below Deck season 11, she had quite the journey as one of Fraser’s stews. Barbie had much to learn during the season and started to be quite combative and dismissive of her superiors. She disrespected Chief Stew Fraser and his second stew, Xandi, quite a few times. Barbie and Fraser fought during the first half of Below Deck season 11, and her attitude almost got her fired. However, Captain Terry recognized that she was a hardworking stew, and opted to keep her around.

After Captain Terry had a talk with Fraser and urged him to make amends with Barbie, her attitude shifted in Below Deck season 11. She admitted that she looked up to her Chief Stew and wanted to perform well as one of his stews. Her vulnerability and honesty served her extremely well and allowed her to get closer to Fraser. Barbie learned a lot during Below Deck season 11 and could apply her newfound knowledge as Chief Stew on Below Deck Down Under .

Daisy Kelliher

Below deck sailing yacht season 2-4.

Daisy Kelliher is one of the best Below Deck Chief Stews to appear in the franchise. She’s the longtime Chief Stew on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, joining the series during season 2 and staying through season 4. Daisy is known for her manners and service. She is a genuine person who comes off as endearing. Unlike other Chief Stews in past seasons, Daisy cares about her crew and makes sure to set her team up for success. Jenna MacGillivray was a good Chief Stew during Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1, and Daisy was the best option to replace her.

Because Aesha is joining Below Deck Med, Captain Jason may have to hire her replacement for Below Deck Down Under . It will be devastating if the Chief Stew doesn’t return for the spin-off's third season. However, Captain Jason has a large pool of potential candidates that would work great for him on Below Deck Down Under .

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 premieres Monday, June 3 at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
