Redneck Yacht Club Canoe and Kayak Rental is located on beautiful Terrapin Creek. Located between Piedmont, Alabama and Centre you will find of the most awesome kayaking adventures in Alabama. Enjoy a great a no limit float down beautiful Terrapin Creek, these guys start launching at 8am, shuttle until 1:00pm and pull all boats by 7:00pm. They offer short Float Trips at about 3 hours and long float trips that are roughly 6-7 miles and take around 6 hours to float.

We offer canoe and kayak rentals, shuttle service, campgrounds, cabin rentals, a creekside pavilion, and more. We have a short, 3 hour float, and a longer, 5-6 hour float. This is a family fun float, no experience necessary!

Facts. Redneck Yacht Club Canoe and Kayak Rental is located on beautiful Terrapin Creek. Located between Piedmont, Alabama and Centre you will find of the most awesome kayaking adventures in Alabama. Enjoy a great a no limit float down beautiful Terrapin Creek, these guys start launching at 8am, shuttle until 1:00pm and pull all boats by 7:00pm.
We carried our own kayaks and only paid the $5 each per boat. (includes the shuttle and the use of their put in/take out and parking facilities). The Redneck Yacht Club facilities leave a bit to be desired. The shuttle van got the job done, but it was less than stellar. The particular one we rode in had the "Redneck" theme nailed.
Our Long Float to "The Bottom" is 6-7 miles, it takes approximately 6 hours. Shuttles run from 8 am til 11 am (arrival time no later than 10:30 am). There are many places to stop along the way to swim, fish, or picnic. You must be at our take-out by 7 pm.
