My husband and I had the best time on this excursion. This was by far the highlight of our trip!! We got to see different islands and learn so much history about St John and St Thomas. The crew also had snorkel gear so we could snorkel each island we stopped at, we saw a sunken ship, sea turtles, stingrays. The crew was OUTSTANDING, Kenny and Susanna went above and beyond and made the best cocktails. This was such a wonderful experience!! Highly recommend stormy pirates. (I even changed my pick up from st Thomas to St. John and they were so accommodating)

What a way to spend a day. Met the crew at the dock, jumped on the boat, and had the time of our lives for the day. A couple of snorkel stops, a little sightseeing of the beautiful island of St. John, and then lunch at Lime Out Taco Bar. Lime Out was an excellent experience floating in the clear water surrounded by a beautiful area and eating some great tacos. This was my second trip with Stormy Pirates, and I brought the entire family as my first trip with them was great. Thanks to the crew for making this a day to remember.

We had an amazing time on their Sale Pending 2 boat. Captain Rich was funny and a really good Captain, we knew we were in good hands and safe. Tara, the crew member was so authentically attentive and caring. We had drinks all day long, sodas, water, punch, cocktails. They had fruit and muffins waiting, a scheduled pizza delivery on the boat, snorkeling equipment and the knowledge the guests needed to find sea creatures. So many small detailed extras to make the day superb!

When not on charter, CAT∞ION, will typically be anchored in one of the many protected coves in Coral Bay. From our pickup point, guests will be transported to the nearest, convenient marina for a quick dinghy ride from shore to the yacht.

Custom pickup locations can be catered to by agreement prior to reservation confirmation. Please contact our reservations team to discuss your needs.

At the end of your stay, we will provide return transportation to your original rendezvous.

Sail the beautiful Virgin Islands aboard our 46-foot Leopard Catamaran sailboat. Your adventure starts at 9:30am with a light continental breakfast featuring coffee, fresh fruit and local baked goods. During breakfast we will discuss available activities (snorkeling, swimming, paddle boarding or just floating & relaxing with a cool beverage) & map out the day’s customized agenda and sail plan. USVI Sailing Itinerary: An Epic Week in the US Virgin Islands

Planning for prevailing USVI cruising conditions

• With prevailing easterly trade winds, we get our upwind leg out of the way on the first day by motoring (or sailing) around the south side of St. Thomas, and then NE to St. John. You’ll have some protection in the lee of St. John to avoid a bumpy ride
• Further upwind passages on the north shore of St. John are short and protected as you hop between the fantastic beaches and bays of the Virgin Islands National Park
• It gives you a chance, mid-trip, to make a pitstop in Cruz Bay for re-provisioning, if needed
• Cruising around the north shore of St. Thomas should be a beautiful, downwind sail under normal conditions
• It leaves you for your last night at Water Island, a short motor back to the charter bases on St. Thomas

Explore St. John in Style!

No overcrowding on this semi-private excursion! A maximum of 12 guests will enjoy a 4-hour trip to St. John, departing from American Yacht Harbor. At one of the many snorkel spots around St. John, like Maho Bay or Christmas Cove or nearby uninhabited cays (Mingo, Lovango or Stevens), we will provide snorkeling gear to explore coral reefs that are home to tropical fish such as snapper, parrotfish, squirrelfish and other sea life, including sea turtles.

On board, we have complimentary water and soda. Once the group has finished snorkeling, enjoy complimentary ice-cold beer. For your second stop, we will whisk you away to one of the many soft sandy beaches. Some of our favorite stops are Hawksnest Bay or Honeymoon Beach at Caneel Bay (weather dependent) to enjoy the white sand and crystal blue waters and a drink or two from our local bartenders. Your experience will conclude with a quick trip back to Red Hook on St. Thomas.

Guests will enjoy our M/V Island Flyer or M/V Hydra power catamarans, as available.

The departure time is 9am or 2pm. All charters depart local St. Thomas time.  Cruise Ship Guests, please check with your ship to verify your time zone.
