Absolutely incredible Crab Louie, fabulous view on the deck and wonderful service. Definitely will be back

yacht club broiler dessert menu

Had dinner here last night. Two beers, crab Louie, hamburger and cup of clam chowder-$80 with tip. Great view from the outside ... deck. Seated promptly and service was excellent. One person takes your order and another person serves the food. Prettyefficient. Food was good. Chowder comes out looking yellow, but I think that is because of the butter. Tasty and a good amountof clams. Crab Louie had a decent amount of crab and the lettuce was fresh. I would have liked some more 1000 island dressing, and should have asked for it, but didn?t. My bad. My wife said the hamburger was cooked the way she liked it and it was tasty.Fries were also good. All in all, not a bad dinner. It?s too bad it costs $80 for two people for dinner, but that?s the way ofthe world these days. Read more

Food is bland and not very interesting. We ordered the seafood linguine and the sauce was so flavorless. Also ordered the ... shrimp sandwich and it was okay. Service is okay. We ordered an appetizer but never received and never offered the cocktailmenu. View is nice though. And clientele is all older retirees doesn?t feel like a hip place for a younger crowd. Read more

Delicious fooooood! Depends on who is your server if the experience is top notch yet it usually doesn't matter because your meal ... is so yuuummmmyyy. It would be nice to have a better customer service experience tho. But I'll keep returning for the salmonit's very moist and not dry. Read more

Went with my wife for dinner, we both had linguini, seafood linguini for me and salmon linguini for her. Neither of us were ... impressed. It was average with a light amount of sauce that wasn't very flavorful. We had the calamari starter which was good although a bit heavy handed on the garlic. House salad had virtually no dressing on it. The clam chowder here is really notmuch of a chowder at all, I'd call it clam soup. It has the consistency of broth and barely enough cream to make it somewhatwhite in color. It tasted ok, but it's not clam chowder. The ambiance here is that of a sports bar. Loud, chaotic, and busywith servers and patrons moving about constantly. Prices are a bit high for this type of experience. Read more

We were looking for a waterfront restaurant in the Silverdale area for lunch. Due to covid restrictions the only one we were aware of was closed for lunch. One of their employees referred us to the Broiler which is not in a yacht club, but... an office building. The interior was small, and intimate, however we wanted outside dinning. We we were seated on the lawn a few feet from the beach. The tide was extremely low, so not much water, but we were entertained by sea gulls & crows and a few herons. My husband has a stomach issue so there are few foods he can eat. He chose clam chowder which he was unable to eat as soon as he smelled it. We chose a class of tomato juice instead. I had the wedge salad which was the best I’ve had. The menu was varied and interesting, lots of sandwiches, steak, seafood, many appetizers and several salads. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and our waitress didn’t charge us for the juice and boxed up the chowder so I could take it home. The prices were appropriate. We not only will return, we’ve recommended it to several friends. More

We were here on a weekend get away and were looking for a nice restaurant in town to celebrate a birthday. To be honest we were expecting this to be a bit fancier and more of an upscale restaurant! Felt a bit let down. Food... was just ok, salmon was dry and overcooked. It is a nice place, I just came in with higher expectations than what was delivered. More

fairly decent sized party, food was good, EXCEPT, (was told) the chef "forgot" to make my meal. So … the host's meal arrived about the time everyone else was finished / ordering dessert. 2nd, you now have to request bread. The bread plates were out,... but no bread. At least the server should inform the patrons, "bread is available at you request." I know times are hard to keep employees, BUT essentially ending up with a meal to go is unacceptable. Judging from this visit, there are much better choices for group. More

In a nutshell, if I were in the area then I would come and eat here since there is not too much in the area to choose from especially during Covid. There is a nice outdoor area to sit and eat your lunch and the... servers were all very friendly. We ordered the calamari to start and it was on the greasy side. Sure maybe you would expect that given it is a fried appetizer and we still ate it. Then we had a chuck burger and salmon burger. Both were good but not remarkable. As I said, we would come back out of convenience and proximity but it would not be our first choice based on the food itself. More

Great water views for dining or happy hour. They have a steak special that is marvelous. The steak is perfectly prepared and so tender you can cut it with a butter knife. Great appetizers at good prices during happy hour.

We were a party of four, with two locals and two visitors. Wonderful service with our server treating us as if we were her only table. My husband was told that his meal choice was "so popular that they sold out." A soft blow to... having to choose another dish. Because we were there in the evening, it was too dark to view the water but guessing it would have been a nice view otherwise. I ordered one of the daily specials of a steak with a soy & ginger glaze. Wish I had taken a photo of it, but honestly it smelled so good I didn't even think of it. I think we would have hit this place twice if our stay in the area was a bit longer. More

Came here for Happy Hour on a Wednesday afternoon for drinks and some snack food. Found a small table in the bar with nearby windows that overlook Dye's Inlet. My wife ordered a HH house gin & tonic ($5.50) and I ordered a glass of... Brancott NZ Sauvignon Blanc ($9). Our server mistakenly brought me a glass of red wine of some sort, but took it away and brought me what I ordered. The HH prices on select food items is a great deal ($4 off each item). We had the good-sized plate of crispy fried calamari ($12), which we've had a number of times before. It's delicious, but the dipping aioli didn't seem as tasty as it's been in the past...not garlicky enough for us. we also tried the baked, hot, loaded potato skins ($6). I believe there were about four and they were indeed loaded and delicious. Yum! Service was O.K. Nothing out of the ordinary. We've had the same server before and she can be a bit gruff and just never seems to be truly enjoying her job. Just an observation; I could be completely wrong. More

The food is consistently delicious ranging from appetizers to full dinners. Steak salad, pasta and shrimp sandwich are some of my favorites. Crab Benedict for breakfast or the salmon omelette are also very good. The service is always great.

During a recent trip to Silverdale, we ate here twice, we loved it so much! Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommed the calamari appetizer - incredibly tender. Main courses were great for everyone, including the steak, cioppino and broiled shrimp (very generous portion... served with a wonderful rice pilaf and perfectly cooked asparagus. Highly recommend! Yacht Club Broiler

Ratings and reviews, location and contact.

Had dinner here last night. Two beers, crab Louie, hamburger and cup of clam chowder-$80 with tip. Great view from the outside deck. Seated promptly and service was excellent. One person takes your order and another person serves the food. Pretty efficient. Food was good.... Chowder comes out looking yellow, but I think that is because of the butter. Tasty and a good amount of clams. Crab Louie had a decent amount of crab and the lettuce was fresh. I would have liked some more 1000 island dressing, and should have asked for it, but didn’t. My bad. My wife said the hamburger was cooked the way she liked it and it was tasty. Fries were also good. All in all, not a bad dinner. It’s too bad it costs $80 for two people for dinner, but that’s the way of the world these days. More

More

I had a crab Louie and my husband had a seafood linguini. The food was average and so was the service. We only saw one wait person a young man who actually seemed to be working so my husband tipped him as the other wait... people had their hands in their pockets. We would probably not go their again. More

Such a great place! My husband and I go frequently, we bring family, have had parties and wedding rehearsal dinners here. Always there has been great service, and has become our go to place for o date night. The chicken skewers and steamed clams are... must try appetizers, my personal favorite is the procutto wrapped chicken and my husband has tried just about everything else on the menu. More

Our group of 8 were sat in a room with a nice view of the bay. The service was great however the food seemed to take a long time to arrive. The iced tea wasnt real iced tea and made of jasmine tea that tasted... like soap. Not a kid friendly place but they do have a kids menu. Sharing of food at your table the restaurant will charge you a few extra dollars. Good place a couple to go and have a nice evening out. More

I made reservations so our family could meet at a central location for brunch Sunday. The atmosphere was ok & the food mediocre. Because of the Covid 50% capacity & protocols, I thought we'd be safe eating at The Yacht Club Broiler. No, they filled... the tables & club up! People were all close eating & walking about. IF this is the regard they have for my family's health in a pandemic, what's the condition of the food they're preparing for me to eat?! I heard the staff rudely arguing too & saying shut up to each other, never again! More

Very nice atmosphere with beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The sandwiches are huge and the Cobb Salad was very large, The seafood linguini was great, too! We were advised by the waitstaff that there was an incident outside on the beach in front of... the windows of the restaurant. There a female was running around nude with Law Enforcement attempting to detain her. Made and interesting dinner conversation : we did Not see the female subject. Very good food and service was very good More

Came for lunch and the outdoor seating.  Drinks were great, food not so much.  My chowder was very runny with few clams, and the fish and chips were frozen fish that weren't very good.  Will skip the food next time.

Good service but that's where it ended. The food was subpar and we won't be back anytime soon. Definitely a disappointment from other quality restaurants in kitsap county. The kids cheese burger was dry and my daughter wouldn't touch it which she normally would eat the whole thing. The fish and chips 3/5: edible but nothing to write home about My seafood linguine was bland I had to ask for a plate of eight lemon wedges and massive amount of pepper. No garlic, no wine no flavor at all so bland. Steak with bell pepper sauce 3/5:  the steak was cooked well but poor quality for the price of 44 bucks. Asparagus was cooked well the baked potato was average potato. Save your money go somewhere else with better food and quality l.

Went here for lunch on a Monday.  We both had the fish and chips which according to yelp menu was $18 (theirs is $14)and our menu was 22.   I think the reviews seem far to low for this restaurant.  Although it used to be one of are favorite restaurants after it opened and started getting worse then they started the Cajun selections we frequented the restaurant far less.  This visit we enjoyed our meal and had a helpful waitstaff.  Sorry forget to take pics

Second visit this year. I had a cup of clam chowder, the fish and chips , and the mixed berry cobbler for dessert. The chowder was from scratch filled to the brim with clams and vegetables, so full there was no room for the chowder crackers. There was a satisfying amount of clams. The broth was very herbal, with a lot of thyme. I feel like I shouldn't be able to discern specific herbs in the broth, it overpowers the delicate flavor of the clams. The chips were done nicely: crisp, with plenty of potato innards, and rough edges to hold ketchup nicely. The fish was fresh and tasty, the breading crisp and not tough.  The cobbler was very tasty. The lighting is very dim. This is a problem in a lot of restaurants. I have cataracts and need to magnify most menus and bills so I can read them. But the lighting was so dim that my iPhone 13 Pro couldn't get a clear picture of the bill.

I have now been there 2 nights in a row. The first night I had the steamed clams and the smoked salmon linguine. Absolutely the best clams Smoked Salmon LinguineI have ever had. My boyfriend had the fish and chips and the shrimp cocktail. Both were amazing. Tonight I had a special spicy chicken pasta that was great and my boyfriend had the New York steak. By far the best steak I have ever had and he said it was the best steak he has had as well. The bartender (she was great both days) talk me into the Apple pie.... Oh my goodness. That was amazing too. We mainly spoke with the bartender and who we think was either the manager or owner and both of them were super sweet. Talked us into amazing food and great hospitality. We will definitely come back when we are in this neck of the woods.

Wow, thoroughly enjoyed the view and the food! I feel like some of the most recent lower yelp reviews were not reflective of the experience we had. Our server Kelley was fabulous and attentive. We ordered two orders of clams (because they were that good) the spinach salad (added Ahi) the fish and chips and the Cobb salad. Will definitely be going back. Loved the outdoor seating as well! Definitely one of the best views in the area. Already dreaming of the grilled chicken on the Cobb salad - we will be back next time we're in the area!

Excellent service.  Beautiful bay view from lawn seating.  Excellent Halibut deep fried fish and chips . Very good seafood linguine with generous portions of shrimp and other seafood. I was given bottomless Shirley Temple drinks. Excellent upside down apple pie for desert. They are in entertainment coupon book.  They have a rewards program too.

This place actually cares about their guests before making money. Fish and Chips were awesome. I was more impressed with their dedication regarding their guests leaving happy. Brought my dad from out of town, had a small issue and they went of their way to make sure we left happy. It's nice to know a few restaurants actually care about their guests. Keep putting your guests firsts, and we'll always return.

We had a very nice lunch today. It was quiet until about 12:30 when the noise level increased. Service was fine. Food was great! It came to the table hot and fresh. I had the chicken prosciutto, which was terrific. It came with mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus. The asparagus was perfect. My partner had Cajun fish and chips . The spice had some heat. We each had some wine. A great birthday lunch for two cost $55 plus tip. The lunch menu is more limited than dinner, so we will have to go back for dinner soon.

We tried out Yacht Club Broiler for the first time the eve of Christmas Eve. It was busy and they seemed understaffed. The staff that was working seemed stressed, rushed and unorganized. Side note: I guess they were running short on lobsters and after staff notified other staff in a not so inconspicuous manner, I'm pretty sure all the customers were aware as well. We ordered the clam chowder and fish and chips ... you'd think a no brainer for a waterfront restaurant in Washington called Yacht Club Broiler. The chowder was Manhattan, I think. The menu failed to say. The fish and chips were sub-par. I used to work as a fish monger and earlier as a cook and I am pretty sure the fish was previously frozen. The batter was heavy and they probably had prepared it early that morning to save 30 seconds during the dinner rush. We decided the view and beer were the best parts of the experience. We decided to give happy hour a chance the following week. Sat in the bar, took a few minutes to be acknowledged during a slow, pre-dinner time. Food options did not seem to spike our appetite/trying to use leftovers as specials but we ordered potato skins and beer. Kind of what we would expect at a sports bar. But this isn't a sports bar. We tried twice but won't go again or recommend to anyone with our standards....which are pretty reasonable.

The view is lovely, the waitress was excellent. I had the fish and chips with slaw.  The fish came with what I remember from days gone by, a "shake n bake" type crust, heavy and terribly crisp. The coleslaw dressing was so blan, and the cabbage was drenched & swimming in blan slaw dressing. Would have sent it back but I didn't feel like eating plain blan cabbage. We looked forward to going there because we were told their pan fried oysters were devine. They did not have oysters.  I can get far better fish at That One Place in Port Orchard.  Now we know.

Hadn't been to the Yacht Club Broiler in years, so we thought it would be fun to give it a go.  We came in on a Saturday night around 6:30.  It was pretty empty in there, which surprised me considering other places in town usually have a wait.  Our hostess greeted us right away and offered us indoor or outdoor seating.  We asked for indoor, but as close to the water as we could get (the restaurant is situated on the waterfront in Silverdale).  Of all the available tables (which were pretty much all of them), we were seated at the one table that was up against a wall between two windows, effectively blocking the view of anyone sitting there.  We had to ask if we could have one of the ones next to a window.  Maybe I'm off-base (it's been a long time since I've worked in a restaurant), but I would think you would want to seat customers at the best available table first.  Overall, the ambience was good. Liked the copper table tops as well. The menu was pretty thorough. Nothing was really missing for a steak/seafood place.  I ended up ordering the Pepperjack Bacon Burger, and my guest had the fish and chips .  I've got to say, for having beef, bacon, and onions all between a single bun, this was probably the least flavorful burger I have ever had at a sit-down restaurant.  The meat tasted like it was a frozen patty with no seasoning, the bacon wasn't much better, and it had iceberg lettuce.  Iceberg lettuce on a $13 burger.  The fries were great, but they should not be the highlight of a $13 meal.  The fish and chips were just OK.  Same great fries, luckily.  The fish was hot and crispy, but it was breaded rather than battered, or so it appeared.  It just didn't SEEM that it was fresh-made or an original recipe.  Perhaps, growing up in the Northwest, I have higher expectations when it comes to seafood, especially from a higher-end restaurant. To be honest, I can't say I'm a fan.  It definitely is not on the same level as other similarly-priced establishments in the area.  I'd be willing to give them another try, but I hope some changes are made.

Went on a suggestion from a friend and it fell way short of his hype.  Had the fish and chips ...yuck! Long John Silvers has better deep fried fish .  It was greasy, panko too thick, and fish was over cooked.   Fries were frozen and the soda was flat.  All this for 22.00 dollars.  If I lived in Silverdale, I would never go there again.

Hi Bryant, That's so nice of you to follow up. I went there last Friday around 7pm. The fish and chips weren't bad, just nothing special but were definitely fresh which is good! The fries were great and like I said, overall I would go again. Besides the hostess, everyone I came in contact with, including yourself has been great. Thank you!

Savvino-storozhevsky monastery and museum.

Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery and Museum

Zvenigorod's most famous sight is the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, which was founded in 1398 by the monk Savva from the Troitse-Sergieva Lavra, at the invitation and with the support of Prince Yury Dmitrievich of Zvenigorod. Savva was later canonised as St Sabbas (Savva) of Storozhev. The monastery late flourished under the reign of Tsar Alexis, who chose the monastery as his family church and often went on pilgrimage there and made lots of donations to it. Most of the monastery’s buildings date from this time. The monastery is heavily fortified with thick walls and six towers, the most impressive of which is the Krasny Tower which also serves as the eastern entrance. The monastery was closed in 1918 and only reopened in 1995. In 1998 Patriarch Alexius II took part in a service to return the relics of St Sabbas to the monastery. Today the monastery has the status of a stauropegic monastery, which is second in status to a lavra. In addition to being a working monastery, it also holds the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum.

Belfry and Neighbouring Churches

yacht club broiler dessert menu

Located near the main entrance is the monastery's belfry which is perhaps the calling card of the monastery due to its uniqueness. It was built in the 1650s and the St Sergius of Radonezh’s Church was opened on the middle tier in the mid-17th century, although it was originally dedicated to the Trinity. The belfry's 35-tonne Great Bladgovestny Bell fell in 1941 and was only restored and returned in 2003. Attached to the belfry is a large refectory and the Transfiguration Church, both of which were built on the orders of Tsar Alexis in the 1650s.

yacht club broiler dessert menu

To the left of the belfry is another, smaller, refectory which is attached to the Trinity Gate-Church, which was also constructed in the 1650s on the orders of Tsar Alexis who made it his own family church. The church is elaborately decorated with colourful trims and underneath the archway is a beautiful 19th century fresco.

Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral

yacht club broiler dessert menu

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is the oldest building in the monastery and among the oldest buildings in the Moscow Region. It was built between 1404 and 1405 during the lifetime of St Sabbas and using the funds of Prince Yury of Zvenigorod. The white-stone cathedral is a standard four-pillar design with a single golden dome. After the death of St Sabbas he was interred in the cathedral and a new altar dedicated to him was added.

yacht club broiler dessert menu

Under the reign of Tsar Alexis the cathedral was decorated with frescoes by Stepan Ryazanets, some of which remain today. Tsar Alexis also presented the cathedral with a five-tier iconostasis, the top row of icons have been preserved.

Tsaritsa's Chambers

yacht club broiler dessert menu

The Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral is located between the Tsaritsa's Chambers of the left and the Palace of Tsar Alexis on the right. The Tsaritsa's Chambers were built in the mid-17th century for the wife of Tsar Alexey - Tsaritsa Maria Ilinichna Miloskavskaya. The design of the building is influenced by the ancient Russian architectural style. Is prettier than the Tsar's chambers opposite, being red in colour with elaborately decorated window frames and entrance.

yacht club broiler dessert menu

At present the Tsaritsa's Chambers houses the Zvenigorod Historical, Architectural and Art Museum. Among its displays is an accurate recreation of the interior of a noble lady's chambers including furniture, decorations and a decorated tiled oven, and an exhibition on the history of Zvenigorod and the monastery.

Palace of Tsar Alexis

yacht club broiler dessert menu

The Palace of Tsar Alexis was built in the 1650s and is now one of the best surviving examples of non-religious architecture of that era. It was built especially for Tsar Alexis who often visited the monastery on religious pilgrimages. Its most striking feature is its pretty row of nine chimney spouts which resemble towers.
