Once you enter the cockpit of the Viking 72, you will immediately notice the immense size of the vessel, highlighted by the 209 square foot cockpit. This boat may have been built to accommodate luxurious long range cruises, but Viking made sure to also pack this model full of space and features for serious sportfishing. The 72 offers a set of massive in-deck fishboxes, plenty of tackle storage and freezer space, and even a Seakeeper for when the seas get rough.

Entering the salon of the Viking 72, you will find a J-shaped sofa, day head, a U-shaped galley with custom granite countertops, crown molding on the upper cabinetry, and a large walk-in pantry forward. There is also an optional layout which offers an open galley and an L-shaped sofa for those looking for a more open floorplan. Going below, you will find a three-quarter-beam master stateroom, a guest stateroom to port, a VIP stateroom forward, and a crew quarters aft, all equipped with a private head and shower.

The main differences in layouts come with the optional enclosed bridge. The enclosed bridge salon mirrors the open bridge plan with the addition of a circular staircase to the enclosed bridge helm, which also serves as a second salon with an L-shaped sofa, cocktail table, refrigerator and entertainment center. With the open convertible bridge, there are three helm chairs, benches to port and starboard, along with another seating area forward.

This Marquis Yachts 720 Flybridge sparkles. It's the only way to say it.  430 hours and docked in one of the nicest marinas across the bridge from Palm Beach Island.  The full-time yacht manager caring for this boat is beyond excellent, and I do not say it lightly.  The boat has recently had a bottom job and the hull and top sides were recently waxed (August '20). I rarely get a chance to type the words "excellent condition" but on this boat I can proudly say it. If you are in the market for a ~72 foot boat, you must see this one. All reasonable offers are encouraged. The owner is a seasoned yachtsman and knows how to care for a boat.

This Marquis 720 is an expansive and substantial vessel. It offers opulent living accommodations on three separate decks providing the owners and their guests with a widely variable selection of living and entertaining environments. The Marquis 720 salon will likely be the place for social gatherings and evening dining. The adjacent gourmet galley and serving center is situated on the same floor level as the salon. This is a feature that is difficult to find in other brands of yachts but certain to be appreciated by those considering the Marquis 720. Three separate staterooms (a fourth stateroom is available) and three head compartments (all equipped with dedicated showers) are situated below decks. The owner's stateroom uses the yacht's full 18'4" beam to provide a true yacht grade living environment. At the bow, the very bright VIP cabin has an en-suite head with a shower, while the two central cabins have two single berths each.

MEET YOUR CREW Kevyn Keth-Walther (Captain) Melissa Geyer (Chef) Tammy Meiring (Stew) Combined, Captain Kevyn and Chef Melissa have 12 years of yachting experience. Kevyn was born in South Africa and has always had a deep love of the ocean. As a young boy, he learnt to sail Hobie Cats and Lasers and loved to surf and dive. After school, he spent some time in the military and then become regional bar manager for a chain of high-end hotels. In 2016 he decided to pursue his passion for sailing and worked his way up to being a Captain. Melissa was born in South Africa and from a young age, found her love of food and gardening. She was always in the kitchen or out in the garden where she learned the concept of "food to table", growing her families own food. Her father was an avid fisherman and she enjoyed accompanying him on his fishing trips. Naturally, a career on the ocean, making food, became a calling. In 2014, she started her maritime career on cruise ships as a photographer, and in 2018, started her career on yachts as a chef. Her interests include diving, sea bird watching (ornithology) and furthering her knowledge in the art of coastal foraging. In 2018, Kevyn and Melissa met each other in Thailand working on a 100ft sailing yacht and have been together ever since then working on 52ft, 60ft and 70ft sailing catamarans as the sole crew. Together they have become scuba dive masters, travelled to many places exploring this beautiful planet and continue to learn as much as they can along the way. Tammy is Zimbabwean born and raised. As a young child she spent most school vacations in the 'bush' at Chirundu or on the water of Lake Kariba - always outdoors and active be it in the sand, water or up a tree. In later years she would spend at least every second weekend out of the city and knew that town/office life was not for her. She chose the yachting profession which suits her desire to be outdoors and to interact with people from all walks of life. She is delighted to have the best of both. Kevyn, Melissa and Tammy look forward to hosting and "wowing" their guests on the beautiful Laysan this coming season.

As a young boy, he learnt to sail Hobie Cats and Lasers and loved to surf and dive.<br /> <br /> After school, he spent some time in the military and then become regional bar manager for a chain of high-end hotels.<br /> <br /> In 2016 he decided to pursue his passion for sailing and worked his way up to being a Captain.<br /> <br /> Melissa was born in South Africa and from a young age, found her love of food and gardening.<br /> She was always in the kitchen or out in the garden where she learned the concept of "food to table", growing her families own food. Her father was an avid fisherman and she enjoyed accompanying him on his fishing trips. Naturally, a career on the ocean, making food, became a calling.<br /> <br /> In 2014, she started her maritime career on cruise ships as a photographer, and in 2018, started her<br /> career on yachts as a chef. <br /> Her interests include diving, sea bird watching (ornithology) and furthering her knowledge in the art of coastal foraging.<br /> <br /> In 2018, Kevyn and Melissa met each other in Thailand working on a 100ft sailing yacht and have been together ever since then working on 52ft, 60ft and 70ft sailing catamarans as the sole crew.<br /> <br /> Together they have become scuba dive masters, travelled to many places exploring this beautiful planet and continue to learn as much as they can along the way. <br /> <br /> Tammy is Zimbabwean born and raised. As a young child she spent most school vacations in the 'bush' at Chirundu or on the water of Lake Kariba - always outdoors and active be it in the sand, water or up a tree. In later years she would spend at least every second weekend out of the city and knew that town/office life was not for her.<br /> <br /> She chose the yachting profession which suits her desire to be outdoors and to interact with people from all walks of life. (Chef)<br /> Tammy Meiring (Stew)<br /> <br /> <br /> Combined, Captain Kevyn and Chef Melissa have 12 years of yachting experience.<br /> Kevyn was born in South Africa and has always had a deep love of the ocean. As a young boy, he learnt to sail Hobie Cats and Lasers and loved to surf and dive.<br /> <br /> After school, he spent some time in the military and then become regional bar manager for a chain of high-end hotels.<br /> <br /> In 2016 he decided to pursue his passion for sailing and worked his way up to being a Captain.<br /> <br /> Melissa was born in South Africa and from a young age, found her love of food and gardening.<br /> She was always in the kitchen or out in the garden where she learned the concept of "food to table", growing her families own food. Her father was an avid fisherman and she enjoyed accompanying him on his fishing trips. Naturally, a career on the ocean, making food, became a calling.<br /> <br /> In 2014, she started her maritime career on cruise ships as a photographer, and in 2018, started her<br /> career on yachts as a chef. <br /> Her interests include diving, sea bird watching (ornithology) and furthering her knowledge in the art of coastal foraging.<br /> <br /> In 2018, Kevyn and Melissa met each other in Thailand working on a 100ft sailing yacht and have been together ever since then working on 52ft, 60ft and 70ft sailing catamarans as the sole crew.<br /> <br /> Together they have become scuba dive masters, travelled to many places exploring this beautiful planet and continue to learn as much as they can along the way. <br /> <br /> Tammy is Zimbabwean born and raised. As a young child she spent most school vacations in the 'bush' at Chirundu or on the water of Lake Kariba - always outdoors and active be it in the sand, water or up a tree. In later years she would spend at least every second weekend out of the city and knew that town/office life was not for her.<br /> <br /> She chose the yachting profession which suits her desire to be outdoors and to interact with people from all walks of life. The CHARTERER acknowledges the COVID-19, or any other infectious disease, entry and exit protocols for the Cruising Area as they exist on the date of execution of this Agreement and endeavors to ensure they are updated with any changes in relevant entry and exit protocols. The CHARTERER and all Guests are responsible for meeting government mandated requirements for entry or exit into the Cruising Area. In the event that the CHARTERER and Guests are not permitted entry into or exit out of the Cruising Area, or any portion thereof, because of not meeting government mandated entry or exit requirements, and not because of the Cruising Area being closed to visitors, this Agreement shall be deemed cancelled by the CHARTERER in accordance with Clause 6.A. All expenses for CHARTERER and Guests to meet government mandated requirements for entry or exit into the Cruising Area, as well as costs associated with quarantine or additional other related costs, are solely at the expense of the CHARTERER and therefore trip cancellation insurance is highly encouraged.<br /> <br /> B. In the event that the CHARTERER or any Guest becomes ill with COVID-19, or any other infectious disease, and tests positive before the start of the Charter Period, the positive test or tests will not constitute a Force Majeure event and therefore trip cancellation insurance is highly encouraged.<br /> <br /> C. In the event that any member of the Crew becomes ill with COVID-19, or any other infectious disease, and tests positive before the start of the Charter Period, the OWNER may appoint another Crew to complete the charter, failing which, CLAUSE 10. DELAY IN DELIVERY/FAILURE TO DELIVER, C. i & ii. will apply. <br /> <br /> D. In the event that any member of the Crew, the CHARTERER or any Guest becomes ill with COVID-19, or any other infectious disease, and tests positive during the Charter Period, the charter will terminate at the nearest reasonable port of disembarkation, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the captain, CHARTERER and OWNER. If quarantine is required, it cannot be done on the Yacht. Therefore, trip cancellation insurance that includes medical insurance with quarantine coverage is highly encouraged.<br /> <br /> E. As a young boy, he learnt to sail Hobie Cats and Lasers and loved to surf and dive.<br /> <br /> After school, he spent some time in the military and then become regional bar manager for a chain of high-end hotels.<br /> <br /> In 2016 he decided to pursue his passion for sailing and worked his way up to being a Captain.<br /> <br /> Melissa was born in South Africa and from a young age, found her love of food and gardening.<br /> She was always in the kitchen or out in the garden where she learned the concept of "food to table", growing her families own food. Her father was an avid fisherman and she enjoyed accompanying him on his fishing trips. Naturally, a career on the ocean, making food, became a calling.<br /> <br /> In 2014, she started her maritime career on cruise ships as a photographer, and in 2018, started her<br /> career on yachts as a chef. <br /> Her interests include diving, sea bird watching (ornithology) and furthering her knowledge in the art of coastal foraging.<br /> <br /> In 2018, Kevyn and Melissa met each other in Thailand working on a 100ft sailing yacht and have been together ever since then working on 52ft, 60ft and 70ft sailing catamarans as the sole crew.<br /> <br /> Together they have become scuba dive masters, travelled to many places exploring this beautiful planet and continue to learn as much as they can along the way. <br /> <br /> Tammy is Zimbabwean born and raised. As a young child she spent most school vacations in the 'bush' at Chirundu or on the water of Lake Kariba - always outdoors and active be it in the sand, water or up a tree. In later years she would spend at least every second weekend out of the city and knew that town/office life was not for her.<br /> <br /> She chose the yachting profession which suits her desire to be outdoors and to interact with people from all walks of life.
