The Moreton Bay Boat Club, located on the northernmost point of Redcliffe Peninsula, offers stunning vistas of the Glass House Mountains and an impressive multi-million dollar 118-berth marina. At the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club, the stunning location, combined with our attention to detail and quality food and beverage offerings, will make your next special event memorable for yourself and your guests. Function Spaces

The members room & lawn.

The Members Room is a historic space offering not just a function room, but a room filled with the Clubs historical records. It is located downstairs and opens onto The Waterfront Marquee area with additional seating and cover overlooking the Marina & unique waterfront views. You will be cosy in the colder months with our indoor wood heater to add to the ambiance of any event.

Minimum spend required for this area

Seats up to 70 for a sit down service or 100 for a cocktail service

The Bar & Deck

The Bar & Deck is a modern area featuring sliding glass walls opening to a shaded outdoor area with magnificent bay views. This area is perfect for smaller cocktail functions of up to 80 guests and in the summer months you can enjoy the refreshing bay breezes.

Cocktail functions for 40-80 people

The City of Brisbane or (Commodore’s) Room

Located upstairs, overlooking the Marina, the City of Brisbane Room (being the Administrative Start line for the famous Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race) converts to your function needs. It boasts stunning views of the Marina and out to Moreton Bay. A private balcony and personal wait staff will ensure the most intimate event where you can take in the spectacular view.

Seats up to 40 for a sit down service or 50 for a cocktail service

“The Shorncliffe State School grade 6 graduation, held at QCYC last night was fabulous. The venue right by the water under a marquee was perfect and beautifully decorated. MBBC MARINA

The Moreton Bay Boat Club has a 118-berth marina, and 13 hardstand spaces.  Our marina berths include a variety of:

• 10m monohull (33′)
• 13m monohull (42.5′)
• 13m multihull (42.5′)
• 15m monohull (49′)
• 18m monohull (59′)
• 21m monohull (69′)

We also extend to our full members the benefit of a private boat ramp through our secure car park as well as four casual pontoons, allowing all boaties to enjoy our facilities!
