Yacht basin.

The Cambridge Municipal Yacht Basin is located on the beautiful Choptank River near the mouth of Cambridge Creek. With a maximum depth of 13ft we are an ideal stop for boats large and small. Whether you are out for a day trip on a 20ft boat or on a weekly excursion on a 200ft luxury yacht, we can accommodate you during your stay in historic Cambridge, MD.

Super YAchts Welcome

The Cambridge Municipal Yacht Center is the only marina with direct access to the heart of downtown Cambridge that can accommodate super yacths. The marina can take boats up to 200ft, making it an ideal stop for super yachts planning a visit to the Chesapeake Bay. From activities, to provisioning, downtown Cambridge has everything a captain needs! Captains and boat owners will love being able to dock with ease, while they stay and play in the heart of downtown Cambridge, the soul of the Eastern Shore.The staff at Cambridge Municipal Yacht Center will be on-site to help as needed, and provide guests with anything they may need while in town.

$2.00/ft/night Daily Power Rates

Single 30 / $5 Double 30 or Single 50 / $10 Double 50 or 100 / $20 ​

Dock & Dine

Mon - Thurs: $10 flat

Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Holidays: $15 flat

Rate includes 4 hours of dockage. Transient electric rates apply. Call to book.

Standard Cancellation Policy This marina has a 48 hour cancellation policy for all standard stays. In the event that you need to cancel within the 48 hour window, you may be issued a credit for Cambridge Yacht Basin towards a future stay, at the discretion of the dockmaster. There will be no exceptions for cancellations inside of these periods due to weather or boat issues.  

Holiday & Special Event Cancellation Policy This marina has a 72 hour cancellation policy for all special events and holidays including, but not limited to, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, etc. In the event that you need to cancel within the 72 hour window, you may be issued a credit for Cambridge Yacht Basin towards a future stay, at the discretion of the dockmaster. There will be no exceptions for cancellations inside of these periods due to weather or boat issues.

FOR OVER 20 YEARS Composite Yacht has been a family business continuing the rich tradition of boat building on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.  Our dedicated crew reflects our commitment to quality and the spirit of the Shore’s maritime culture. Martin Hardy is a managing member of Composite Yacht. With over 45 years of boat building experience, he has had the opportunity to work on projects ranging from historic reproductions to state-of-the-art luxury yachts. Martin’s sons work with him, Lewis as the Shop Manager and Lead Builder, and Rob as licensed USCG Captain and Sales Manager. Both have spent their lives in the boat building and marina environments.
