Our team of yacht brokers and office staff is based around the world, with our headquarters located in Fulham, London. Employees at our Fulham office enjoy access to on-site parking, a brand-new gym, and a lounge area within the building. Additionally, we have a US office located in Palm Beach, Florida.

To foster a close-knit team dynamic, our team regularly gathers at both office locations and attends various yacht shows throughout the year. This ensures that we maintain strong connections and collaboration within the team.

Job Description

Parkstone Bay Yachts is a long-standing brokerage, which has adapted over the years to an ever-changing market.  Our emphasis now is on improving our online presence, especially through the use of social media, You Tube reviews and boat videos.     Motivated person required to join our growing yacht brokerage. Qualifications and experience as a broker not essential but candidates must demonstrate ability to show initiative, creativity, and ability to learn on the job efficiently.

Boat experience and a good understanding of a range of boats essential.  

An understanding of social media marketing, including You Tube and posting videos and photos required.  

Training and guidance will be provided on the boat brokerage process and more formal qualifications possible, following a successful induction period.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be a part of this growth, working closely with our head yacht broker.  As we are a small team, the role will be diverse, varied and allow a bit opportunity for making a difference.  

Hours:  higher during summer months and to include weekends but reducing over winter period to average 37.5 hours per week over the calendar year.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - MALLORCA Click here to find out more and apply

Argo Nautical Yachting SLU are looking to recruit a Spanish and English-speaking Assistant Accountant for our Marine Group following a period of acquisitions. Reporting to the Management Accountant, your role will be to support the Group Centralized Accounts department in the administration and production of the management accounts.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: •  Previous experience working in Finance and Administration, preferably working with the manufacturing or repair industry. •  Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams). •  Ability to work within a collaborative team environment. •  Friendly and confident with a can-do attitude. •  Great organization and time management. •  Attention to detail. •  Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Key responsibilities will include the following activities: •  Processing of supplier invoices. •  Dealing with any invoice queries. •  Reconciliation of supplier statements. •  Petty cash, manual expense claims managed through the purchase ledger. •  Petty Cash/Credit Cards monthly reconciliations. •  Bank statements posting and reconciliation. •  Bank payments preparation and authorization. •  Issue of manual sales invoices. •  IVA Returns preparation and review. •  Support the management accountant and finance team to produce monthly management accounts and key financial information. •  Other ad-hoc duties as required.

WGS 84 coordinate reference system is the latest revision of the World Geodetic System, which is used in mapping and navigation, including GPS satellite navigation system (the Global Positioning System).

Geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) define a position on the Earth’s surface. Coordinates are angular units. Longitude is counted from the prime meridian ( IERS Reference Meridian for WGS 84) and varies from −180° to 180°. Negative longitude values correspond to the geographic locations west of the prime meridian (abbrev. W).

UTM or Universal Transverse Mercator coordinate system divides the Earth’s surface into 60 longitudinal zones. The coordinates of a location within each zone are defined as a planar coordinate pair related to the intersection of the equator and the zone’s central meridian, and measured in meters.

Elevation above sea level is a measure of a geographic location’s height. We are using the global digital elevation model GTOPO30 .
